The question amused Aggro. He was constantly asked this by people that didn't know the inner workings of a Larvitar's digestive system. Of course he could eat other things, just too much of it and too few rocks caused them to feel ill. Besides, he preferred rocks, they tasted better to him. Regardless, he figured Carwyn had no reason to ask about his diet until now, so he smiled and nodded.

Carwyn smiled and gave a nod, "Good to hear. I wont not want to get snacks we both could not enjoy." he laughed lightly and moved to open the door for Aggro,,"Here give the tickets to the man as we enter in aaa he will tell us which room we go to. Then we will get some snacks and find us a nice place to sit." He looked around the room. The theater was done up with lots of neon signs and posters for movies coming out soon, he even found it impressive from time to time. There was even a large tv advertising food and movies at the concession stand there was even a a small game room to the right of the concession stand.

The inside of the place was a bit overwhelming for Aggro, just as Carwyn's home was. There were so many lights and posters everywhere! But, Aggro did as he was told as they walked inside the theater, taking the tickets and handing them to a bored-looking young man that stood behind a podium-styled box. "You'll be in theater 10, it's on the right." the man informed the little Tototar in a very drawl voice. He ripped both tickets in half, giving two halves back to Aggro and the placing the other two in the box. Aggro nodded in reply and gave a forced smile as a thank you. He looked at the two ticket halves and showed Carwyn, not really sure if that was supposed to happen.

Carwyn watched his friend and when Aggro showed any signs of tensing or getting too nervous the Drapion's soft hand tightened reassuringly around that of the Tototar. "You did very good dear Aggro, now hold on to those ticket stubs, it proves that we have paid to come into the movies. Now remember what theater we are in and we will get some snacks and go there. You can pick out the candy and drink you would like and I will get us a large popcorn." He smiled and brought the rougher hand of his friend up to place a gentle kiss on the back of it. Carwyn was not above public displays of affection. More so if it helped ease his little country friend's mind. After all this was kind of like a date now, between friends of course, but a date none the less.

Aggro looked confusedly at the stubs for a moment before Carwyn explained; he then made an "ah, gotcha" expression. The kiss caused him to blush deeply, though. He definitely wasn't used to affection other than that from his mother or Zoey, and far less in public than in private.
When it came time to choose snacks and drinks, Aggro was once again overwhelmed. The multitude of choices and fact that he'd never heard of any of them and had no clue what anything tasted like left him feeling awkward. In this case he turned to his friend, the attendant behind the counter already a little annoyed that he was taking so long. Aggro pointed to the glass case that showed all the choices and shrugged. He really didn't know what to choose and hoped Carwyn had some suggestions.

Carwyn was keenly aware of Aggro's reaction to his kiss. And though he liked seeing the blush and his dear friend did not pull away he still did not want to scare him off so maybe he would hold back his affections for now.
Carwyn smiled and nods, "Well I guess I can pick us out something. I will take care of ya Aggro dear." he turned his gaze up to the annoyed looking attendant. His eyes narrowed a bit but he smiled, "Alright sir we will have a medium popcorn, sour patch kids, a box of chocolate raisins, two large waters and a box of bon bons." He pulled out the money from a pocked in the inside of his shirt and payed for it then his tail moved up to help carry the popcorn bag and his hand gathers up all but the water bottles.
He smiled a bit and hoped he got enough tasty treats for Aggro to try and enjoy. "Well dear pebble are we ready to head on into the theater?"

His reddish orange eyes went wide as Aggro noticed all the food Carwyn was ordering... and then the wad of cash. Aggro had never seen so much money. Granted, he didn't really see much more than two dollars at any given time, Zoey had gotten them for losing a tooth once. He hadn't had lessons in types of money yet, so even if Carwyn had had all ones and Zoey had two twenties, he'd still think Carwyn had more.
Holding out her arms to help carry the food, he had to let go of his Drapion friend's hand. He was a little sad at this and hoped that in the theater he'd get a chance to put this stuff down and hold the soft hand again. Heart filled with this thought, he silently followed Carwyn into the theater.

Carwyn turned to look into the large fall leaves colored eyes. "You looked shocked dear little pebble." he said softly and the corners of his smile fell ever so slightly. Both with worry that he had done something wrong to upset his dear friend and the other part was that Aggro had let go of his hand and seemed determine to help carry things. He let Aggro carry the drinks and he carried the rest.
His tried not to think too much about the rough warm hand that had been just a few moments ago wrapped around his. It was going to be bad if he found he could not live without that touch. Aggro was always so easy to fill up the love Drapion's mind. When he first changed to this half human form the only thing he had worried about was that Aggro might run from him and not wish to be near him. His smile faded fully from his lips now as he walked his thoughts starting to grow a bit more dark until he looked up and saw they had come to their theater. "Oh...here we are. I am sure we are early enough that we can get some good seats. I will let you pick them out." He turned to look at his dearest friend and smiled softly at him. He would always have a smile for Aggro even if it would one day have to be a forced one as he was left behind because that Tototar had found himself a true love he wanted to spend his life with.

Being the first time he'd ever been inside a theater, Aggro didn't know where the best seats were. Looking at the massive screen and then back at the seats, his face contorted, illustrating his concern. He didn't want to pick a bad seat, since he figured Carwyn would probably want to watch the movie, he paid for it after all. A low groan, and he decided to take a couple seats towards the center of an aisle near the middle of the incline. He hoped it'd be okay. Exchanging a look with Carwyn to see if he approved, Aggro could tell something was wrong. He hoped it wasn't his choices that were causing his friend's smile to falter.
Once seated, Aggro eagerly put the drinks in their holders and hold out his hand for Carwyn's. He gave a pleading smile and hoped that the Drapion would not think him too silly for wanting to hold hands.

Carwyn watched poor Aggro fretting over a spot. It was both cute and a bit sad. He did find it also funny that they both were acting so nervous and worrying over so many things. It was almost like they were really on a first date. Both so very afraid to mess it up and upset the other one. Had it been like this before they had changed? Carwyn did not remember their time in the country being so tense. Why was he over thinking this this time around. He nods when Aggro turned to look at him for approval. "Those look like perfect seats Aggro." he said softly and watched as his friend sat down and places the drinks in the cup holders then stretched the worker's hand out towards him.
Such a simple gesture and yet it touched his heart so very much. And the sight of such a smile Carwyn felt his heart skip a beat and his cheeks grew uncomfortably warm. He knew he must have been making such an ugly face just standing there blushing at such a simple act.
Closing the distance he moved the drink from one of the chairs to the opposite side and smiled as he lifted the arm up and behind the two seats. "This way we can hold hands threw the whole movie if you like, and our arms wont get tired." he smiled and whispered, "We could even cuddle if you wanted too...after we eat." He curled his tail around and sat down taking Aggro's held out hand with his free hand. His tail holding the popcorn in his lap as well as the candy with his other hand. Now they could eat and hold hands.

Aggro could help but smile; he loved how Carwyn looked right now, his cheeks flushed a deeper red then normal. He couldn't help the broad smile that stretched across his face. He also couldn't help the happy gasp that followed at the suggestion of holding hands and possibly cuddling during the movie. He now wanted to finish the food off as soon as possible.
His free hand grabbed a kernel of popcorn. He held it up and looked it over, flipping the piece around in his hand. He'd never seen anything quite so oddly shaped. Not even the odd shapes that he'd seen ores came in were in quite so bizarre a form. He sniffed it and popped it in his mouth. It was salty, like a lot of the stones he ate. But it had a very distinct flavor that he couldn't really liken to anything he'd eaten before. It was good, though. He nodded to Carwyn, showing his approval and kept munching on the popcorn. He wondered if the other foods had as many flavors as rocks did.

Seeing that smile and how happy Aggro looked brought a real smile back to the Drapion's face and his cheeks remained darker for a bit. Though he had time for his blush to go away as he watched Aggro with the one popcorn kernel. It was so cute. Everything about Aggro's wonder with the thing going around him was so adorable.
He had just been about to lean over and eat the kernel from the other's hand but Aggro popped it into his mouth. "Is it good?" He asked and smiled watching Aggro's reaction. When the Tototar picked up some more Carwyn leaned forward and took it from the other's fingers, "Mmmm I love popcorn. So salty and light and buttery." He giggled and looked up as the previews started up. "When your done with snacks for now I will set them in the chair next to me and we can cuddle." He really wanted to feel his dear friend pressed close to him holding his hand.
So far this day was only getting better and better. It was nice to share in so many new and first time things for Aggro.

The feeling of sharing this highly enjoyable time with Carwyn was a bit intoxicating, and truthfully, probably a bit overwhelming. But Aggro didn't care; he was finding too much enjoyment in these feelings. Not really that hungry from the rocks he'd eaten earlier, and all too eager to cuddle in the dark, the Tototar nodded that was done with the popcorn for the time being. With his free hand (not wanting to let go of the smooth hand of his friend), he pushed the armrest up and out of the way.
Aggro's heart began to race as he scooted in close to the warmth of the shiny Drapion boy. He felt like he was dreaming. His head began to fill with all sorts of muddled thoughts that he couldn't even began to sift through. He felt like he should do something else, but for the life of him, he didn't know what. So, he just smiled blissfully as he rested his head on Carwyn's shoulder and nuzzled into his neck, making a sound similar to purring.

The popcorn and all other snacks were put on the back burner the moment Carwyn sat down so close to Aggro. He did eat some of it and continued until Aggro gave him a nod and he leaned forward to set the popcorn and cady down of the floor for the time being as his friend lifted the arm rest fully back from them. This could very well be the best movie Carwyn had ever been too.
Suddenly everything around him seemed to dull compared to the feel of Aggro moving so close to him. Carwyn became rather keenly aware of just how close they had now become. All his fear of Aggro hating his change had been lost. This was like a dream come true, And even as the movie itself started it was lost on the Drapion. He reached over with his far arm and moved to switch it with the hand holding Aggro's. This would bring their hands to rest on one of Carwyn's shapely thighs. The near purr and nuzzling was almost too much for the more worldly Pokechild. With his near arm now free he slid that one around behind Aggro and rested the covered fingers on one of Aggro's slender hips. He turned to place a soft kiss on the top of the thick head of hair. "Thank you so much for this Aggro." he said his voice a bit lower than normal.
It was all Carwyn could do to force his eyes back to the screen. There were not many people in their theater. The two of them nearly had it all to themselves.

A chill ran all the way up Aggro's spine from the point where Carwyn touched his leg. He couldn't help but shiver excitedly as a small giggle escaped his nearly silent lips. Another chill shot up his spine when the shiny Drapion boy's other hand rested on Aggro's hip. His tail twitched in response this time, like it was having trouble containing some feeling. The kiss on the top of the head didn't help either. His tail flopped about for a bit before he managed to get it under control.
Aggro wasn't really watching the movie; his eyes were on the screen, but his mind was elsewhere. It was definitely a good thing that Carwyn wasn't a Psychic-type, he'd find some amusement in the confusion of the inner conversation Aggro was currently having with himself.
