Casually leaning on the back of the wheelchair with an almost loving gaze, Izaya rested one arm over the top and propped the other up to cradle his cheek. "So glad to hear that," he said dreamily. "If you have the energy and passion to hate me, then you can survive solely on that drive to hate." He chuckled. "Aren't I amazing? I'm your savior~"

Dodging the muddy, shredded piece of cloth that was tossed at him, Orihara happily approached the floundering agent, grabbing first his arm. The cast seemed to be made of plaster, which should have remained dry, but the moisture in the mud was distorting the cast shape. The grunt considered attempting to cut through the dense, soggy material with his flick blade, but it was still plaster and probably too thick. Only one other option.

"I know you've grown used to these," Nakura said, indicating the casts, "but we can't really have you coming into HQ having already been treated for wild pokemon attacks if you were never seen by a hospital." Taking out a pokeball he had recently obtained from a trainer in Sandalwood, he released the dark-type inside. It was a black and white Absol.

Now Izaya hadn't so much stolen the pokemon as caught it after another trainer had released it. It had proven too troublesome for them, and while it seemed to like Izaya well enough, he soon discovered the reason its previous master had let it go. The creature had a severe case of OCD. Everything it saw had to be symmetrical or the Absol - Nakura had overheard it being called 'Kid' - would make it symmetrical. Now was the perfect time to put that OCD to the test.

"Kid," Izaya instructed merrily, "Would you be so kind as to help out our mud-covered friend here? He's got an arm and leg cast, but only on one side of his body. It's too heavy for him. Maybe you could do something...?"

Kid's yellow eyes widened. What an aberration! It was disgusting! No, it was beyond disgusting. He had to do something immediately to liberate this poor man from the confines of asymmetry. Taking up a stance, the determined pokemon raised his head. "Ab-SOL!" it cried, using its blade-like appendage to attack the cast with Cut. He did his best to make it as focused and accurate as possible, however, so it would only cut the cast and not the limb trapped inside.

"That's wonderful, Kid! Now there's just one more..." Unceremoniously dropping Asch's freed arm onto the bank of the mud pond, he reached in to grab the man's leg cast. Kid narrowed his eyes at the sight and liberated the red-head from that burden as well.

Pleased at this, Izaya threw Kid an oreo, which the Absol caught neatly in his mouth. "Nice job," he told him. "Return." With the dark-type returned to his ball, the informant attempted to help haul the agent back onto the wheelchair so he could push him the rest of the way to the van. "Ah, finally...a pokemon I can depend on. So predictable~"

Asch was not impressed with his "savior" and just glared at him again. Even as Izaya grabbed his arm. The grunt's plan made sense, although he couldn't say he was happy about it. Removing the limbs from the casts would undoubtable aggravate the injuries. When the Absol was released, he looked at it suspiciously, his eyes going wide when he realized what was going to happen.

"WHAT!" Asch cried but before he could protest further, the Absol made his move and with a slide... the cast on his arm was split open. Thankfully, leaving the arm inside free from further injury. There was a notable groan of pain as his arm was then dropped back into the water. And soon the same was done with his leg.

"I need to get one of those," he muttered in reference to the Absol.

As much as he detested it, he allowed Izaya to help him back in the wheel chair. The young man trying his best to cope with the added pain. Which, consequently, made him very quiet.

"No you don't," the grunt said with a dead pan look. "Seriously, I'm starting to think it's more trouble than it's worth. One can only wonder how he's going to react when he finds out I'm rooming with a man fond of asymmetrical appearances. Not to mention his pokemon."

He sighed. "At least Kid's OCD makes his accuracy pretty sharp, though. Because everything has to be perfect." An eye roll. "Even the a**l-retentive Agent Frost wouldn't be able to handle this thing..."

Izaya didn't seem to mind Asch's silence, blabbing on openly until he reached the van. He grinned and leaned over. "Time for me to carry you in...princess style. Isn't that fitting?" The grunt reached one arm under Asch's knees and the other to find the small of the teen's back.

Asch still said nothing, even as Izaya started to pick him up. There was a reason for that. All this jostling around was not boding well with his internal injuries and it was making him feel... sick.

Just as the grunt was starting to lift him, Asch's stomach heaved without warning. And the contents of said organ evacuated in a rather explosive manner to splatter all over Izaya.

"...I think you very much want me to drop you, Asch-kun," Izaya said flatly, not looking at the man but rather staring straight ahead. "But I suppose I deserved that."

Tossing the agent in the back seat like an abduction victim, he slammed the door, took off his parka and top, and tossed them on the ground. folding the wheelchair, he dropped that on top and then set fire to them with a lighter in his back pants pocket.

Watching until the remains smoldered so as to make sure the fire wouldn't get out of control, the grunt stomped on the remains to preserve the rest of the forest foliage and headed into the van. It was going to be a long, shirtless, cold ride back to headquarters.
