Abilities: "Ability to the extent of corrosion" - Sabiru's abilities allow her to corrupt, corrode, wither and rot all kinds of materials, from metal to flesh with the use of powerful magic. She seems to somehow fully comprehend her abilities, and as such, is extremely deadly in their use.
Occupation: None
Location: ????
Description: Sabiru is a dark-looking Youkai with pale skin. She has short, messy, dark brown/black hair and fiery orange eyes. She wears a hooded black cloak that hides her entire body; underneath, Sabiru wears a sleeveless brown and corseted vest over a short black dress, with short boots and thighhighs below that (Zettai Ryouiki, anyone?). There are strange markings that scar her face; two vertical lines that are emblazoned across her amber eyes, and glow red with a malicious intent.
While arrogant in her "youth", Sabiru has grown to be wise, powerful, and antagonistic while still being somewhat mischievous. Where a certain Mirror Youkai might see hope, Sabiru sees absolution. She accepts the true nature of things as they are and as they will be, already knowing that one day, all will turn to dust - what does it matter if she helps things along?
"Someday, it will all end. So until then... Smile~"
History: There are two sides to every story, every conflict, and every person. What people see on the outside is not always what lies within. Somewhere in the threads of fate, a young Mirror Youkai befriended a Demon of Sin. Sensing the dying embers of humanity within her, the Young Mirror Youkai sought to rekindle the flame. However, the closer you stand to light the larger your shadow becomes... While the Young Mirror Youkai remained pure, the darkness within her swelled and grew in power.
One night, as the Young Mirror Youkai was fast asleep, the darkness was able to manifest itself in a separate physical form. It fled from the pureness of the slumbering one, and hid in the Former Capital until its strength was fully gathered. Once powerful enough, the darkness, now naming herself Sabiru Ura in mockery of her "sister", began to wander the Underground. She became naturally inclined towards Mara's Shrine, feeding off the dark and ill energies it housed.
One day, she decided to venture within the dark shrine. Sabiru didn't recongnize the building at the time, but the moment she laid eyes on the Demon of Sin, the memories of her sister's emotions were revealed. Sabiru confronted the Demon, mocking her as well, telling her how her sister "merely pittied her pathetic existence", and that it was "the only reason she even bothered visiting her." This infuriated the Demon, causing her to lash out at Sabiru, scarring her eyes. Sabiru fled and tried to nurse her wounds, but the scars left behind by the overwhelming taint of Sin itself had marked her flesh irreversibly. Soon, Sabiru began to look upon these marks as a badge of honor.
After that, Sabiru focused on developing her powers. She learned that she had the ability to destroy and weaken things thoroughly, and if the target of her abilities were alive, extremely painfully. Within her lied the ability to corrode objects, rot flesh, and whither plants. Anything that could, crumbled to dust. She could also control the speed at which her powers worked, maximizing the potential for pain. There is one flaw to this ability, a weakness that she holds: They do not affect ghosts or spirits, as they do not have a worldly body to corrupt.
While she cannot search a person's heart and memories as her sister can, Sabiru still holds a rather unique gift that continuously ties her to the Young Mirror Youkai: Whatever the Young Mirror Youkai learns by delving into a person's shadow, Sabiru learns as well. This ability is one-sided, however - Anything Sabiru learns is hers alone to keep.
Sabitsuki Kaibutsu has yet to learn of Sabiru Ura's existence.

Backstory: Rekinna is a magician from 2012 who has entered Gensokyo after creating a wormhole with the help of her friends. Rekinna was the only one out of all the people who made the wormhole who actually survived it. The wormhole ended up bringing her to Gensokyo in 2005. Something else also seemed to have been sucked into the wormhole, looked like a girl with blue hair. After Rekinna got to Gensokyo, she woke up in a grassy clearing with Leena. They became quick friends, now they live together along with Maria Memory at the edge of the human village.

Title: Concept of War
Species: Natural Magician

Occupation: None

Description:
Backstory: Leena was born in Gensokyo in 1793, but left in 1800 and didn't go back until 2005/2012. Leena pretty much lived as a normal human in the outside world, played lot's of games. She made a decent amount of money with her powers. One time, she was out for a walk when she saw Rekinna and a group of excited people talking about finally finding the tear in the space-time connected to Gensokyo. Then, after she got closer, the ground beneath Leena and Rekinna shattered and revealed nothing but darkness. Everyone was sucked in, but only Leena and Rekinna made it out of the exit. The rest of the people was either lost in the crude wormhole or torn to pieces.

Name: Maria Memory
Title: Memento of War
Species: Physical manifestation of the memories of war. Could be seen as a ghost, though she was never alive to begin with.
Ability: To make the memories/ghosts of war and conflict into attacks, and perfect memory.
Occupation: Databank on every war that has ever happened.
Location: Edge of the human village, lives with Rekinna and Leena
Description:
Backstory: What can I say about her... she has been around since the first humans... since the first war... She remembers everything the soldiers saw, every order the officers gave, and has experienced death billions of times over. She has seen the first longbow, the first battle the Romans fought. She saw what every last one of the Spartan soldiers saw, and remembers it clear as day. You'd think she would have gone mad by now, lose her mind from all the pain. But she also has every bit of courage the soldiers in the trenches had, every bit of chivalry the knights who charged forth had. All of this manifested into one single entity. A single personality formed after that, bringing the rest of the shouting and chivalry to the depths of the mind. It is kind of obvious that something like this would be in Gensokyo.

Occupation: Greater Parasite (Shinigami)
Location: The Mare
Description: A parasite who has grown old enough to develop intelligence and act on her own. With her age and knowledge, she can change into a black cat with purple stripes to indicate her affiliation with the purple rabbits in the Mare.
Usually seen with her brother Incubo, the two tend to cause some trouble and play with the fear of man to see their reactions. She also wears a small black hat.

Fun Fact: Incubo and Sogno were considered to be off springs of Nahumar in the original idea, but were changed to Greater Parasites for reasons of this Guild.
Abilities: Natural inherited Tengu strength and speed, "Ability to the extent of psychokinesis"; with her powers she can manipulate the physical world with her mind and willpower. She can even use this psychic ability in conjunction with her sword to project vorpal cuts across space or conjure temporary magical blades, giving her a wide range of attack despite lacking a ranged weapon.
Occupation: Priestess, ex-guardswoman
Location: Tengu Village
Description:[x] Kazuhima is a lithe and fit Tengu woman with long white hair and pale skin. As fitting of her status as a self-made Priestess, Kaz's robes are pure white, and are accented with dark blue ribbons and bows. She uses basic magic to hide her white Tengu wings most of the time, giving her a more "natural" humanoid appearance, which is more suitable when making pilgrimages to neighboring villages and communities. Under her long, flowing sleeves, she tends to carry a concealed white katana - a relic from her days as a guard. Kaz is quite proficient with the blade and, despite her avocation of peace, she continues to train to this day to keep her skills honed.
History: Raised as an orphan, her mother and father disappeared shortly after her birth. Kazuhima chose to enter the Tengu Swords Academy after coming of age, where she became a capable fighter and proficient with a sword. Her ability to manipulate the physical world by thought gave her a slight edge above other students. After graduating, however, Kazuhima began to abhor violence, and instead chose a more peaceful path. She became a Priestess and, while not actually following a religion or serving under a god, she serves as a spiritual leader in the community, helping those in need and giving of her personal strength.
Unknown to the humble Priestess, her birth was orchestrated by the thoughtless whims of a Sleeping God, sealed away in the deepest waters of the world. Her powers, both known and unknown, exist by siphoning off the god's own powers. She is an avatar, and exists only because It sleeps. Kazuhima is, essentially, the Sleeping God's dream.
Recently, Paz has enlisted the help of an old classmate and sword for hire, a ronin by the name Senshi, whom Paz often refers to as "Senshi-chan". Paz is quite fond of the wolf Tengu, despite her questionably strict adherence to some deeply held code of honor.
Personality: Paz is an exceptionally kind and patient woman, which likely what earned her status among the village folk. She enjoys taking the time to help those in need, be they prince or pauper. Truly, her religion is simply the avocation of peace and cooperation, and lives to see the day when all are united by these attributes.
Background: Honoka was created long ago, into a world that was ravage and did not know light or happiness. Upon her creation, Honoka flew through the skies over the ravaged lands, showering the land in color and light, relieving it of its darkness. People rejoiced and praised Honoka for her deeds, though only in prayer. Each year, Honoka brought peace and light to the lands until what was once ravaged could no longer be called so.
As years passed, Honoka continued to use her abilities and bring light to the land. Eventually, she began to hear rumors about herself, one of her favorites was the rumor that if one finds a strand of her hair or a piece of her clothing and lit it on fire, it would burn continuously golden if ones faith in her is strong. The rumors should have been a sign to Honoka of the future, for one day she simply became a myth, a legend, something that doesn't exist.
Honoka found that the land no longer needed her for there was no more war. This was a good thing, but what was Honoka's life meaning if she could no longer ease the people's lives from hardship and sorrow. She had lost the faith she had once had and disappeared from the land she had once felt was her home. As a parting gift, she left a length of cloth of a vibrant gold and orange in front of the leader of the land's home. She waited for a few days to see what happened, and found that it was taken into the house and in the morning, the leader announced that once every year the cloth would attempt to be lit on fire to show the peoples faith for the fairy tale.
The cloth was lit ablaze by a man of old age, who was born during the dark times. He spoke of how he saw Honoka herself fl through the sky and clear the dark clouds away to let in the light. The cloth was then placed in a tower, where it continues to burn in its vibrant gold color. Honoka left the world she loved and still loves forever, knowing that it could now protect its own happiness.
The fire has faded away over time, but a small portion of it remains on the cloth, for those who are truly grateful for what Honoka had done for them.
Personality: Honoka is a rather calm and carefree person. She enjoys doing almost anything and can be competitive at times. She is hard to anger and enjoys others being happy as well as peace. She acts calm almost all the time and can be seen as sisterly (or even motherly) at times.
Abilities: "Ability to the extent of the Animate"; this ability allows Mary to bring inanimate objects to "life", giving them a limited sentience and automation. The effects are only temporary, however, and only lasts as long as Mary is within the same general area as the animated object. Once the spell ends, or Mary leaves, the object in question returns to normal, turning static and freezing in whatever movement it happens to be in at that moment.
Due to her original nature as a painting, Mary is hurt when her painting is damaged. She can alter herself by drawing on her own painting, but these changes are typically permanent.
Occupation: ???
Location: An old, abandoned house in the Forest of Magic
Description:October 7th,
My partner and I decided to ransack that old house in the middle of the Forest of Magic. The place obviously hasn't been touched in god knows how long, and I've never seen architecture like this before. Well, that doesn't matter. We looted the place from top to bottom, collecting a nice assortment of silverware and jewelery. We hit the jackpot!
On the second floor of the house, we found a few paintings, meaning the previous owner must have been an artist. A bunch of them were torn or vandalized and hardly recognizable as "art" anymore, all except for one. Strange, how captivating it was... It was a painting of a girl, no older than my child back home. Long blonde locks, piercing gold eyes, and she had a precious little green dress and red shoes. The plaque titles the work of art as "Mary". While the painting has less wear than the others, parts of the canvas are torn in places - shame, really. However, it appears that someone has tried to repair "Mary" at some point... and poorly, I might add. Childish doodles frame the edges, and the tear where her right arm should be is splattered with red paint into a vague shape of a limb. Kinda reminds me of a teddy bear's arm... Though the claws look real enough, as does the knife in...
God hel ................................. chunks out of his .................................... hear her. She's .............knife........
(The rest of the note is too blood stained to read.)
History: A long time ago, a girl named Mary once lived with her loving family. A bad person broke into her home and killed her mother, and then he killed Mary. Her father became sad, and in his sadness, he painted. The painting was almost lifelike, each stroke made with loving care. He put his entire being into the painting. It was the last of his work.
Her father grew old, and soon, their home became abandoned. Time passed, and their abandoned home was lost to time, forgotten to the world. But "Mary" didn't forget. From the frame she watched and waited. Mary found out she could move, but not very far. She was too weak. After a long, long time, a person finally came to her abandoned home. The person saw Mary and he tried to take her, so Mary ate him.
Mary could move now. She could move farther than before. But it didn't last long. She was too weak. Mary needed more. Mary needed someone to take her place.
Race: Faerie (Very much like a fairy, but "grows up" at a slightly quicker rate and skills may develop quicker. Other than that, little to no difference.)
Age: Unknown, but young
Appearance:x Notes~ -Her hood is red and matches the color of her shirt -Her shirt has a collar that goes right to her neck (no spaces in between) -Her long sleeves come from under her shirt -The black part you see behind/in the hood should not exist... -Horns are also shorter as of now (grow with age)
Abilities: -By focusing her magic into an object (her wands), she can cast magic. Notes~ -Think of most of her magic like a sort of push, depending on how it's used. When casting a blast directly at a target it's a sort of "blast" push, meant to harm. These harmful blasts can burst when they hit, causing additional damage. -She can, however, lift things up with her magic, but this requires a continuous "push" that is too much for her as of now, so she can only make things hover in that state for a short time. But she can lift something up and then "push" it at the enemy. -She can also cast harmless pushes, meant to tip over things and such. -She is capable of learning more magic, but over time.
Backstory: Not too significant. Her father worked as a regulator of laws with his magic while her mother was forced to work as a handmaid to pay off a past debt. Due to this, she had very little time to learn magic, and was only taught the basics from a nanny. Eventually, she managed to find a way into Gensokyo, where she began to look around.

Name: Mitsuru Nori Also called: The Ending Flame Species: Ifrit Nori carries the typical Ifrit condition. An ifrit has strength comparable to that of an Oni's, but below average speed. An ifrit is blessed to have even average human speed. They are immune to any and all disease and do not in fact age past twenty.. They are truly heat proof, able to even rest in lava with great ease though this of course carries the serious weakness to anything cold. They are highly durable creatures who don't really need breath. They are quit capable of flight and pain suppression making them terrifying warriors. Despite their mastery over fire they are only capable of manipulating one type. Ability: He is able to manipulate a powerful kind of flame called the "King's Flame", a flame that carries near unrivaled heat. It even bypasses the protection afforded to most flame users. The flame has a duel nature as it can not only take life, but give it. It's capable of giving semi-immortality to those with out enough spiritual power though they are forced into the service of the ifrit, and is capable of making mass resurrection but the resurrected are without souls. Sometimes they may appear to be fully living but many times they are mere husks. Age: Was born 609 CE Occupations: Occasional Guardsman Martial Arts Instructor Location: Bounces between Human Village and The Scarlet Mansion Background: Believe it or not there was a time Nori was a god. Being one of the earliest Infernal Jinn around he was a danger to everyone around him and knew it. He the man flaunted his power to the up most and destroyed anyone in his path. He was largely unfamiliar with Japan as he grew up in Iran. This entire area was often set ablaze by his rampages. He was part of the flame kings, a group who controlled the area with an iron first though there were often cases of infighting and murder. They only had Marid's as opposition but they had far too much power to be stopped by anyone. This era of his life was a dark reign and one he would rather forget as he has changed much from this. He often incited wars among his own kind, hosted a company of women, and hunted down threats to his power but one day he just..changed. He was still a ruthless fighter but he set about trying to build the world around him rather than break it to him whim. It took 2000 years but he had made it perfect. It was then that he left Iran and traveled around the world to meet many knew and strong creature with which he forged friendship.
He migrated to Japan just before the barrier was formed and lived quite peacefully with the people there until the world came under assault by darker forces. He like many of the denizens of Gensyoko crossed over to aid Arkham when it fell under siege by the ancient ones. He teamed up with Yuuugi Hoshiguma during their battles, there were those who submitted to the ancient ones and it led to some tough battles. They neared victory though it was difficult to tell who would survive as they got stronger and stronger as time moved forward. Their last battle was with Yukari. The battle here saw the failings of many allies but he didn't even get to experience the end of it....he was hit by something and fell into a deep sleep.
He woke up in this reality just outside of Gensyoko. He familiarized himself with the world and soon found his way in. He started a martial arts shop there once he managed to gain the trust of the humans. While wondering he came to the mansion and has a short fight with Meiling but found his way in. He was allowed to come and go, often hanging out with the people here where he has become good friends with all of them. He bounces back and fourth between them. He's hardly thought about his own world..or how he got here. This new reality has left him but a fraction of his power making him just an Ifrit. He's fine with that too. Theme:Eightfold Illusion
