Endymion tried to keep the tenseness to a minimum as Carwyn accepted the scyther's offer, but he was still anxiously fidgety when aiming for the opposite reaction for himself. He was glad the drapion didn't shoot down the suggestion, feeling more comfort in being able to see who it was he was talking to, but the mere sentiment of trying not to act so nervous made the attributes more visible on his person. He kept his weaponized arms close to his body, much like a kid may if they were latching onto their own shirt. As though he were afraid that Carwyn may take the action the wrong way again, he quickly stuttered a retort before any query was mentioned on the move, "Y-You don't make me uncomfortable... I do..." His last words were almost whispered, covered by an irritated growl aimed at himself as he briefly glanced away, a further attempt to mask the words that seemed intent on emerging. But icy blue eyes did not remain averted for long, and at the gingerness Carwyn was taking on the matter, he had long since turned back before the magenta-hued child was even within view. Endymion was nearly scowling by this point, but to an alert observer, one could tell it was only to hide worry. His long ears twitched to the sound of Carwyn approaching, and he couldn't help but lose grasp of a grin at how clever the other child was about not scaring the jumpy scyther.
While he was once again oblivious to the implications of what the drapion-child was saying, he pinpointed something that seemed a bit abnormal to a pokémon with such a childish mind, "Ah... future mate?" Did his acquaintance mean one that was sure to come in the future, or was the other child actually betrothed? Regardless, he figured Carwyn would at least explain, but in the meantime, "Do you have to dance with someone else, then?" There was another meek smile as the gender-ambiguous child tallied off all future plans, "Jack-of-all-trades; I can't see why you couldn't do all of that, if that's what you wanted to do. You're already off to a good start!" Endymion fluttered his wings a little to make a point -- namely Carwyn already seemed to be an expert in the massaging category -- but the carefree action was cut short when Carwyn reached over to carefully grab at one of the scyther's blades. He froze, afraid he was going to do worse than just catch the end of a blade on a hem this time, and in fear of that actually ended up almost yelling at his friend, "No no, let go!" It was reactionary but didn't cause End to pull his own arm away this time, face flushed and wings going limp, "I-I'm sorry, I didn't... I didn't mean to--" It almost physically hurt not to be able to say what he wanted to admit to. Instead, he allowed Carwyn to hold on as long as he wished as the explanation to how to get to his home was given, but he shook his head, "I-I'm not sure... I don't know how long I need to wait here..." He frowned, trying to gather himself and think straight, "Um... well... h-how far is it?" Maybe a detour wouldn't be so bad...
He pinched his wrists back to his chest when Carwyn let go, receding back into his embarrassedly shy outlook. He perked as the drapion said that he would go grab a carnation, but Endymion's thoughts were following the conversation a sentence or two behind the speed they were said. Eh... pink? Well... he supposed that was better than actually grabbing a red flower. Besides, Carwyn seemed the type to be better at something like that anyways... maybe the scyther-child should just trust what his friend was saying. "I... suppose that's okay," he attempted to respond before being pulled into a hug. He twitched a bit at first, considering he had not been anticipating when it would come, but quickly relaxed outwardly. Carwyn was so touchy-feely... and it was actually kind of comforting to know someone wasn't as nervous around someone so obviously dangerous. The drapion had already grabbed him numerous times, all friendly in maneuver, why couldn't End just explain his problem with it!? "I just don't want to hurt anybody!" he cried. Well fine then, brain! Just randomly decide to stop malfunctioning!

Carwyn smiled warmly at his friend enjoying the soft way he seemed to be finally warming up to him. He lit up as the other asked about a future mate but when he suddenly tensed up and his face fell. He could feel the almost shaking tenseness of his new friend he quickly enough let go of the blade. He sighed and looked down. It seemed he had over stepped again. He hated the fact that he just wanted to always touch others even if he knew they were afraid of the touch. End was just too sweet and his sad continuation just made him want to hold and comfort the scyther in any way her could. "I…I am sorry End we don't need to go to my home. I am very happy just being here with you. And I am sorry if seems I have brought you fear again. I guess I am really a bad selfish Drapion at heart." He said gently with a sad smile. But it had not stopped his hug just after he had gotten too worked up again.
At the cry out Carwyn shut his eyes still holding Endymion to him, "You do not need to worry about hurting me End. You carry such a heavy burden but you should not fear being touched or touching another. You will live such a very sad life if you keep yourself pulled away from everyone." He smiles, "My body is very sturdy and I am sure even if you do cut me it wont be bad. I still have my hard shell End." He sighed and started to pull away slowly as he did he placed a soft kiss on the other's forehead, "I understand your worry End. And I am sorry for being so thoughtless of your fears. I wont touch you again without warning. From now on I will allow you to choose when and how I shall get to touch you, if you let me at all. But if you ever feel the need to be hugged please feel free to come to me." He let the other go and turned to face forward on the bench moving his tail and all parts of his body subtlety away from accidental contact with the scyther child.
He felt so very bad, he who claimed to know and sense what others wanted could not even being to figure that was what had been troubling his new friend the most. He could only think about trying to comfort him. He felt rather bad right now but figured that End did not need to feel guilty about anything. So he sighed a bit and smiled, "Well it does not need to be a pink flower…I am sure we could find any color you would like. There are so many of them."

Endymion was quick to shake his head in response, despite the fact that words simply were not cooperating in a timely fashion today. His bladed arm was slow to lower, partially in tune with the unexpected release and partly out of fear of pulling it away too fast. He didn't want to cause harm, but it seemed the more he was trying to refrain from inflicting physical damage, the more he was causing the emotional. The young scyther wanted to be more confident, to be able to say what worried him without having to be shaking like a leaf in the process. Carwyn was not dangerous, that much was plainly obvious to even the blindest of individuals. Was it because the drapion didn't see Endymion as a threat at all, either? Was that why he couldn't comprehend the reasoning behind the scyther-child's actions to the extent that the bladed insect wanted to convey?
He hadn't even the need to ask about it, it appeared, as Carwyn seemed well aware of the words that jumped out of his mouth when the drapion pulled him closer. Maybe it was just easier to push others away when it was habit he had developed early on in life, but he hadn't thought about everything he may be missing out on from doing so. It was just easier to put others first, and bury anything he may be feeling adversely to another's well being. The slight drapion could back up his words quite admirably in this particular instance, though -- Endymion hadn't even thought about the fact that his friend also sported an exoskeletal structure over a good portion of his body; those weren't just markings. Knowing this, the scyther almost instantly relaxed. His blades were dull enough not to cut at the slightest touch, but the natural armor was invulnerable unless he really set out to do harm, he knew from experience with such material. "I... hadn't even thought of that..." he admitted after a moment of thought.
The release of his sharp anxiety caused a delayed reaction to the kiss Carwyn gave as the drapion pulled away, more defiant on insisting that the other child should act how he wanted to act, "You're not bad, and you're not thoughtless. All you were doing was trying to get me to loosen up a little, and there's nothing wrong with that! It's okay, you don't have to tiptoe around me; you should be comfortable just being yourself." It was about time his vocal chords unlocked, but out of his need to state his feelings on the matter, his delayed reaction suddenly caught up with him and he blinked in surprise, "Did you just..?" Was he just kissed? He'd never had that happen before... oh jeez, how was he suppose to react? Other than the... suddenly flushed face, that part was just embarrassing.
Clearing his throat, he attempted to push past it. "No no, pink is fine," he quickly assured. As a matter of fact, now that he thought about it, pink might be the most adequate color choice -- it would remind the scyther-boy of the strange pink child he befriended today. He smiled, bringing up an older matter, "And really, taking a walk wouldn't be so bad, either. We can go to your home if you want, I just probably shouldn't stay there too long is all." This was probably the most comfortable Endymion could remember feeling in weeks.

Maybe one day the love Drapion would need to learn a thing or two about personal boundaries. He knew his closeness to the Scyther put the other boy on edge but he could not help but want to reach out and comfort the other even if that touch made things worse. Not to mention somewhere deep down he actually liked seeing someone else flustered by him, in one way or another. He looked more than a bit shocked at the sudden release of words from his friend. He did not think the other was capable of such a train of speech. He smiled brightly and brought a covered hand up to cover it, not wanting End to think he was laughing at him. " Well I always walk on my toes but I shall try to be myself around you with consideration to your feelings. I know myself is a hard pill to swallow."
He was a bit surprised that End did not react too much to the kiss. How strange that a kiss would not effect him as much as a hug would. He tilted his head to the side a bit in thought but then he saw the wave of pink color spreading over the other's face. Ah so it did register he had to bite his lips behind his hand to keep from laughing. He gave a nod, "Yes I kissed you. If I can not hug you then a kiss is just as good as expressing familiarity and feelings and you don't have to worry about marring my skin right?"
He dropped his hand giggling softly and nods, "Well then we will find a wonderful pink flower for you on our walk. And well if you blushed so with a little kiss maybe I should not bring you home with me. My home is...well very revealing and intimate. So we can walk around the gardens some more and then I wont keep you to myself for too much longer. But we will have to meet up again soon I hope!"

While Endymion had managed to push past his indecisiveness momentarily to voice his opinion on the matter, of Carwyn's own unsure behavior over how to act and what to be cautious of, he was more at a loss now that the words had been voiced. Before today, he'd rarely been hugged, and he'd never been kissed. He knew he was dwelling on it, but not knowing how one was suppose to react to something like that had him acting more outwardly passive on the matter, aside from the minor fidgeting. He was no longer nervous around Carwyn, quite the opposite -- he was more nervous about figuring out what was 'normal' social interaction. The sections of his face that were no longer clad in an emerald exoskeleton were already a pale pink, turning more so the longer he deliberated on how to react.
It was a good thing that, despite the drapion-child's attempts at hiding the grin, Endymion actually caught it in Carwyn's eyes. Instead of taking the action poorly, he realized it was out of amusement, as though he shouldn't over think it so much. Even if it was not what was meant to be conveyed, thinking of it in such a way caused Endymion to flash a light smile in return, especially with what Carwyn said. "You definitely are a strange one," he laughed, "The arms may be hazardous, but I suppose nothing else really would be." It seemed as though the magenta child was teasing him with the comment, but it was not a joke End minded. Snickering at the thought, he realized the drapion had taken to the suggestion of not tiptoeing around the scyther's feelings; Endymion no longer felt threatened, or as though he was a threat to Carwyn, and when such was reciprocated through action from the other party, he was more than a little glad!
At the mention of taking a walk in order to find the pink flower, Endymion carefully rose to his feet. After a second or two of deliberation, he attempted to offer a forearm to help Carwyn to his feet as well. He seemed perplexed, and offered an expression of similar value when met with the vague description of Carwyn's home, but didn't press into the matter; the cheshire-marked child knew what he was talking about, there was no doubt. To say that Endymion was naive was a bit of an understatement, to say the least... "Well, either way, a walk sounds nice," he stated, a hasty dismissal so as not to make Carwyn feel as though the scyther was going to press him for details. He didn't want the drapion to feel as though he were cutting the meeting short at all, though! "I'm sure we'll be able to see each other again after today. Heh, I'd have it no other way," he assured. He meant it, too; it wasn't every day that a friend came along and accepted you for who you were, faults and all!

Carwyn loved to watch Endymion. They Scyther seemed to always have so much on his mind. The thoughts moving threw his mind were so easily expressed on the softer side of the face. Though what the thoughts were were unknown to the Drapion. But as the pink color started to spread Carwyn's smile grew more. End was beautiful with that subtle color on his paler part. It was a sight that Carwyn might never tire of.
However soon enough it was Carwyn's turn to be shocked and surprised as End crossed over to him and offered his forearm. It was such a noble and bold thing for the shy nervous boy to offer. And the effort it must have caused End was not lost on Carwyn. The Drapion's face grew a bit pink as he slid a covered hand over the offered forearm. He stood up and once on his pointed feet he snaked the covered hand gently around End's upper arm to hold close to him. He smiled warmly, "Yes I would very much like to walk with you either way." He said happily. He brought his other hand up at the firm statement from End. He would have it no other way. "I wouldn't have it any other way either End. I am very much enjoying this time with you. And I hope we can become very good friends in the future. I will look forward to many more walks by your side." He gave the other's arm a squeeze as he led them back towards the paths to find the prefect pink flower.
(I don't know if you would like to end it here and start a new one with them both teens?)

It felt a bit strange, for so much attention to linger on himself in conversation. Endymion wasn't used to it, and even though he tried to separate the topics to focus more on Carwyn, they seemed to be cut more in half between the two, even when speech wasn't a part of the exchange. He wasn't used to it. In fact, it was a little disappointing that he still could not identify whether Carwyn was male or female... but something about asking for clarification on that front seemed inappropriate to ask. And embarrassing, of course. If a second meeting were to take place, he considered whether he'd be gutsy enough to ask something like that, or if he'd even need to...
While notable that Carwyn's expression beheld a more prominent pink shade than it had before, Endymion missed it in his attempt at staying on track, to get out of being confined strictly to silent observation. Regardless, he was more at ease now, despite the usually-uneasy close proximity; he didn't even fidget when Carwyn wrapped his hands around End's upper arm. It was just something he was going to have to get used to, after all, and not just with Carwyn, either. The drapion's more hands-on approach made such practices more simplistic to get a handle on, especially considering his pacifistic nature. Carwyn's smile helped as well, and the scyther offered similar in return. "I think I saw more of those flowers this way," he motioned with his free arm before leading the way, "There might even be others. I haven't seen the whole area yet." Maybe it was nervousness that kept him talking, but he was still having fun nonetheless.
It was almost reactionary, but the scyther had to catch himself before asking about why they weren't already good friends. Of course not. Friendship doesn't just happen in a day's time like that, he corrected himself. It was too much to expect something of that degree in so short a time, but it also reinforced the idea that it should happen, that they should meet again so that that label could be reinforced. Friendship wasn't just handed out, after all -- it had to be earned. "Well then we should definitely make sure it happens again in the future, huh?" he snickered, though was momentarily afraid he might not be able to accomplish it, regardless of the fact he wanted to. Could he come back here later? Would it be too long of a time between? Would he be forgotten? Never mind that... There was no use worrying about it now. "Was there a flower you wanted to look for as well? Maybe we could both keep one," he suggested. Maybe that would help put those worries aside.
