The door suddenly burst open to reveal a giant cake.
A giant cake with wheels.
A giant cake with wheels, and a little underneath its base, rainbow stockings, and the barest hints of an apron.
The cake was still giant, though, the tip of its tenth tier pretty much getting clipped at the doorway, rainbow icing falling everywhere. The cake wobbled and shook, and continued to wobble dangerously until-
- Julie stepped away from her masterpiece surveying the landscape. She may or may not have been also holding a giant pink unicorn plush, and a tin of Bacardi Rum Cake: Coconut flavour. The Moon Hunter smiled rather absently. "Oh, I hope I'm not too late, the cake took a very long time to prepare."
Yes, the rainbow icing ten-tiered cake that seemed to have quite the assembly of decorations on it, from sparkling glitter ponies to a disco ball. Yes. A disco ball.
How the hell did Julie prepare it in such a short time again?

Sasha was deep in the closet. She had something in mind, something particular that she was looking for. Something, more specifically, the exact length and design of the cotton nightgown she was wearing right this very moment. Maybe something pink, or baby blue, or even purple. Something silky. A compromise, really.
"No, I haven't found anything yet," came the muffled answer to Candace's question. "Did you bring chocolate?" Sasha turned to face Candace, waving at Molly in the distance. Her eyes widened dramatically when she caught sight of the chocolate, reaching forward with greedy hands. "Did you know," she popped one in her mouth, closing her eyes with a little sound of delight, "that this is the best chocolate I've ever had? Did you bring something to drink?"
Reaching forward, Sasha pulled out a short little pink nightgown and turned to face Sydney.
"Put this on. Orrrrr.... this," she presented Sydney with a little green number. "Put this one on."

"Sasha, Sasha, Julie is HERE," Sydney whispered, only to get distracted by the things she was handed. "Ohhh, this is cute!" she said, holding up the green on. "Very cute! I really like the--I MEAN, she brought a massive cake. The last time she offered us food we fell through the floor into the sewers--"
She looked at Candace and the redhead she hadn't met yet. "She wouldn't destroy the closet, would she?" she asked, fingering the silky material. Yes, that WAS her greatest concern.

Saya was just walking out of the closet, after a quick look, since she had sleepwear she wasn't shy or embarrassed about. She was wearing a light blue one, draped over her body, but she really loved Clarise's taste in clothes. Just in time to see Julie's cake, a giant sparkling cake that was practically Saya's dream. It really was a masterpiece. She walked up to the cake, with wide sparkling eyes. Her eyes were wide, slowly traveling up as she counted the layers.
There were unicorns on the cake.
"Miss Julie, you're the best!" Saya clapped her hands, admiring Julie's extremely incredible talent at cooking. But on the flipside of that talent was another talent for extremely dangerous cooking.
Unaware what the term 'boozey deliciousness' entailed, Saya grabbed a plastic knife, handing it to Julie.
"Would you like to do the honors of cutting it?"

Clerise had passed out for a brief moment or two, yawning a little as Julie rolled in the cake. She practically screamed as she did, but was fortunate enough to see Clarice testing it for safety.
She hopped up out of the bed, leaving her towel on the bed. It was clear that she had claimed her spot on the bed; and she would cut someone if they took it.
The redhead heard Sasha's light voice, and followed it into the closet, leaning up against the door's frame, watching Sasha devour chocolates and Candace picking out clothes with her.
"You're not going to find anything that's the right length, whirligirl," Clerise offers. "You might find one at the knee, though." She raised a red brow, offering a little wave to the both of them.

The Moon Hunter did exactly that, taking the plastic knife from Saya as she carefully parted the top two tiers onto the side and cut into the cake.
The entire world exploded.
Okay seriously, it wasn't that bad, all that happened was a little bit of icing drooped off the cake, which Julie dabbed at with her apron, before working deeper into the cake. At last she came out with a very decent slice of the confection, placing it one of the plates conveniently stacked below the trolly. She had seriously put a lot of thought and effort, somewhere between the sewer incident and the cold showers, to not only appear presentable, but somehow make an infinitely ridiculous tiered cake that actually tasted okay.
The only explanation most Life Hunters gave at this point was that Julie was affected with certain points of what they liked to call lucidity in which everything she did actually made sense and was effective. Unfortunately those moments were very few and far between, and very unpredictable when it came to her and the kitchen. It also depended whether or not someone reminded her to take her medication.
She simply smiled at Clarice, giving the Life Hunter assistant a slice of cake with a rather impressive pair of tiny very familiar looking rubber ducks made entirely out of icing, and then moved to hand Saya a piece, one that had two dancing bears plastered on the side. She was in the process of lopping off the icing head of a happily smiling creature that kind of looked like this when she stopped. "Oh, is there anyone else who wants a piece?"

Nona was in heaven. Absolutely in heaven. Surrounded by beautiful clothes, women and colors, the Alkonost was twittering and tweeting like no other. Each article of clothing that Sasha touched or rubbed between her fingers ignited Nona even further. Each chocolate that Sasha ate only caused Nona to grow louder and louder, pleased as punch.
"Sydney, my little bird," Sasha giggled madly, waving a hand as she continued rifling through the clothes, "don't worry about Julie. Clarice will protect us!"
When Sasha heard Clerise's voice, she immediately perked and skipped forward to take the other woman's hand. This was a night for fun, she'd obviously decided, and for listening to her inner Nona. There was nothing wrong with enjoying oneself! She was with a group of her peers. Clarice wouldn't let anything horrible happen to her!
"Come in here, Clerise, and just. Just. Eat one of these," she nabbed one chocolate for herself before holding one up to Clerise's lips. "They are just. Gosh. Divine, aren't they?"
