Current Weight: 253.8 Weight change since last week: -1.2 How I feel (mentally/physically): Exhausted and queasy Exercise (optional): 3x 2 mile walks, 4 sit-ups How did the week go? Poorly. I ate 4 small meals in the last week. High stress and high abuse made getting anything done difficult. High winds and dust storms made going for walks difficult.

Current Weight: 128lbs. Weight change since last week: No change How I feel (mentally/physically): Mentally: Frustrated. Physically: Extremely congested, fever. Exercise (optional): Dragging myself off the couch How did the week go? Terrible, but couldn't be helped. Me and my little one caught whatever bug is going around. I was just starting to get into a good routine. and it actually felt weird not being active. But I didn't gain anything, so I suppose it could be worse.

gaia_nitemareleft Current Weight: 171 lbs (78,8kg) Weight change since last week: -0,2kg How I feel (mentally/physically): Good. Exercise (optional): Sweating up on a crosstrainer machine, wii fit plus, small walks and situps How did the week go? It was ok. My weight seems to still revolve around the same amount. One day it's bit down and one day it's up again. I have kept a measurement of my waist since start of my project, and I've lost about an inch there so even though my weight is not changing, there is still small progress. gaia_angelright

gaia_nitemareleft You've done very well last week! Just try to eat properly. Small meals through out the day. If you don't eat anything, your body will go on "stress mode" and it will actually burn less calories than you would normally do. Also, you won't have enough energy to do any exercise. I've tried to make my meals smaller but I try to eat something every three to four hours. The exercises I've been doing lately are very heavy and I noticed one day when I hadn't eat properly that I just didn't have the energy to really do it, even though I was not feeling hungry at the moment. I have still a lot of balancing to do with my eating. It's not as easy as it sounds. Some times I wish that there would be "free personal trainers" in our health system. They could help you to get on track and I think it would really benefit the country if you could get more people to be healthier. gaia_angelright

All this exercising has a cumulative strain on my system as I burn through 105% of each day's energy. As for not eating right, that was due to my mother. When she does not eat, nobody eats. And I did not want to deal with the repercussions of even attempting it. As for feeling hungry, I have found a trick. If you're hungry, drink a large glass of water and wait 15 minutes. If you're still hungry, you're actually hungry and not just dehydrated.

When I feel like that I want something sweet like chocolate, I drink a big glass of water and wait. Usually that works but if not, I repeat until it does. smile Of course, I allow my self a small piece of dark chocolate some times but recently I really haven't had any bad sugar cravings. gaia_angelright

Getting well has to be the first priority. I hope you're starting to shake whatever virus you got. ((((hugs)))) @Exxos - the water thing is a fantastic idea. I agree that sometimes we can't tell the difference between hunger and dehydration.

My second weigh in day!
Current Weight:148 Weight change since last week:-2lbs How I feel (mentally/physically): good, high energy Exercise (optional): same as last time: walk the dog every day, elliptical three times How did the week go?Good. I still feel like even though this seems like a great beginning, I'm not willing to think of it as any kind of success yet. Maybe when I have lost 10lbs I'll feel like one bad day won't set me back to the beginning. What I'm happy about so far is that I don't feel like I'm starving myself. I'm just having to really be mindful of not nibbling on things whenever I pass the kitchen or while I'm making meals for the family. It's a hard habit to break.

gaia_nitemareleft Ahem, forgot the weigh in day... I'm going to permanently change it to friday since that's the day I actually remember to do this. biggrin Current Weight: 78,5kg ( 173lb) Weight change since last week: -0,3kg (3lbs) How I feel (mentally/physically): Good. My back has been slightly aching lately and my right ankle is annoyed of something. Exercise (optional): Situps, crosstrainer, wii and some long walks. How did the week go? It was a good week. The weight is going up and down still and there haven't been that drastic changes. Still, I'm feeling good and the situp training that I've kept up is really starting to show some results. gaia_angelright

Third weigh in day..
Current Weight:148 Weight change since last week:+.5lbs How I feel (mentally/physically): relieved the week is over, physically not too bad Exercise (optional): only did elliptical once last week. Still walked the dog every evening How did the week go?Pretty stinky week actually. I'm surprised I only gained back half a pound. I kinda went overboard with the treats on Tuesday and then yesterday we had lunch at my mom's house. She had gone to all this trouble fixing up a huge meal. It's hard to refuse your mother when she looks wounded at you not trying something. lol The constant banging and pounding from the roofers installing our new roof was very headache inducing as well. This week will be better!

Current Weight: 255.8 Weight change since last week: +2lbs How I feel (mentally/physically): Mentally burned out/Physically fatigued and having a lot of chest pains Exercise (optional): Only got out for two 2-mile walks since last weigh in due to high winds. How did the week go? Pretty poorly, it has been an emotional rollercoaster and my sleep schedule has fallen apart.

gaia_nitemareleft Current Weight: 78,5 kg (173 lb) Weight change since last week: +/- 0 How I feel (mentally/physically): My left knee have been actin up and some times it stings when I get up. Otherwise I'm good. Exercise (optional): Some walks, sitsups. I've tried to spare my knee this week. How did the week go? It was ok. I was on holiday this week and I was determined to do lots of exercise. Didn't do it as much as I would of hoped though. I suppose this was good week still, since I've managed to rest and recharge my batteries so I'm all good for work next week. My weight is stuck again and I'm starting to wonder what I'm doing wrong. @Camwen & Exxos; *hugs both* No reason to feel bad about your weeks. Some times there are small set backs but I'm sure you can do it. To exxos: I know you have issues with the sleeping, but that might be the first thing you should concentrate on. Regular sleep is important and there have been actually studies that irregular and sleep derivation can actually cause weight gain. gaia_angelright
