Hadrian wasn't sure he liked the idea of 'the Director' knowing everything. He did suspect that the man in question probably didn't hold much store by Valentine's Day. Of course, in reality, Hadrian didn't know even the smallest thing about the Director. "I don't know, I've never met the Director." He considered for a moment, chin almost resting on his chest as he tilted his head to grin down at her, "But, I think, the point is that even if someone knows you care about them, its nice to tell them so anyway." His grin grew a bit, "Like how I already know your my friend, but it feels nice to get a hug anyway."

"Oh." Galatea flushed and attempted to duck her head in a habitual bow for apology. The nearness of him, though, interfered and so she loosened her arms and attempted to take a step back in order to complete it. Any ideas the Director had on Valentine's Day were immediately forgotten in her embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to keep hugging you for so long but... Thank you for letting me."

Hadrian sighed, internally. He was making an attempt to understand why any sort of display of emotion or affection seemed to be something Galatea felt she should apologise for, but it was just so very odd to him.
"You don't have to be sorry, it was nice. You can hug me whenever you want, I promise, it will never bother me at all." He said, his arms settling at his sides after slipping from her shoulders as she pulled back.

Two fingers rubbed at the inside of her opposite wrist and she regarded him quietly for a moment as if absorbing his words. Then, suddenly, she smiled fully, freely, brightly. "Alright, Hadrian," she agreed. "If you say it is alright, then I will remember that. Thank you."

He blinked, her sudden bright smile catching him off balance. It was nice, though, to know she believed him. Hadrian wouldn't have been sure, otherwise, how to convince her such things were alright. And she seemed to rub the inside of her wrist when she was troubled, so he had been unconciously prepared for her further withdrawl. "You're welcome." He mirrored her smile, "Do you want to see the second story of the house? Well, really its the first story I suppose, but you know, the one we're not in."

"I would like that very much. Please." Galatea dialed the smile back a few notches but she still shone with happiness.
