He gave a slightly hesitant smile at the comment, as though apologizing for the lack of certainty on the subject. Endymion didn't want to force the conversation to be concluded so prematurely, but there really was no helping it. At least, in this unexpected venture into the city grounds, he actually managed to accomplish something worthwhile. Well... at least he hoped it was worthwhile, considering he still wasn't sure about meeting so many people in one place. Meadow was nice, though, so he was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and try. "Well I hope they get here soon, so you don't have to lug all of this through the store yourself," he stated.
Before turning to head towards Nix at the checkout, he took another look over the scrap of a scribbled map once more. The lines were pretty squiggly, but without something properly reinforced holding the page straight that was more or less a given. As Meadow explained what each graphite icon was, the boy realized he didn't even really need to ask, for the teen was already labeling each with her questions. Ahh, so that's a river... he made note to himself, but offered Meadow a nod in return, "Yeah, I can tell. I think I've been near some of these places before anyway." Well, he could tell now, at least. Glancing back to her, he flashed a grin, "It was nice meeting you, Meadow! I'll, um..." he held the paper up a bit in indication, "I'll see you again soon, then!" Pocketing the page with a careful release of his pincered grasp, he hurried over to Nix, just in case the man decided to forget anything important.

As Endy departed, Meadow waved and called out, “Goodbye Endy! It was nice meeting you as well! See you soon!” Turning back to her cart, she began grabbing what was left of the list, as well as making mental notes on what she would need for the big dinner.
