I was going to post this in the regular chat area, until I saw this thread, and how perfect and convenient it was for my purpose. If anybody actually reads this, that is, as this thread seems pretty dead. BUT, I shall try anyways.
So, I was about to make a character, and I was wondering if there was already a balance of characters, or if you have, say, an excess of female or male characters, or something. Usually I read through - literally - all of the characters and previous roleplaying posts before I make my own, so that I won't do something that is already there, but in this case I decided I could just ask. Is there a type of character you have less of? Maybe you have a lot of passive characters, or aggressive? Maybe you are lacking some very blunt characters? Is there a species you have very few or none of? I'd just like to help balance out the characters while doing something I haven't done before. If anyone could help me out on this, I'd be much obliged. Thanks! ^^

As well as a lot of pretty girls (of any species) who are shy/clumsy/sweet/naive/nice/gentle/generally blushy when a guy is nearby and cutely unsure of herself but still flirty/sexy in exactly the right moments. You probably know the type. We also tend to have a lot of antisocial characters. Otherwise, we have a pretty good balance of personality types, genders and races. So you can probably go with just about anything. The guild really, really fluctuates but we're always going to be more heavy on females and vampires/demons than everything else.

Do there tend to be a lot of certain types of guy personalities? edit: also, I loved you description of those types of girls xd

We have hyper, derpy guys, antisocial, jerky guys, normal guys, girly guys, butch guys.....pretty much everything. I guess we don't have a lot of the flirty, suave ladies men kind of boys? Lots of stalker and emo types as well. XD We do have a few blunt females. Angela, Vivian, Izzy and Persephone come immediately to mind. Tshila and Kasie are also fairly blunt but in a hyper, talkative way rather than a rude way.

I could probably manage a flirty guy, although I'm fairly certain I couldn't pull off suave xd Ok, thanks so much for your help! ^^

Hello, ah, magic here (obviously.) I just sort of had a question about some stuff involving Rosentale, and thought I might ask before wasting time (yours and mine) in the character profiles thread. The twins originally were characters I made for this particular RP, and as such, it's been a bit of a process to get their characters down (still working on it) However, I have a third character that could really help to make their abilities (and possibly, interactions) a little more stable in the future, and older boy (fourth year) with a very similar gender swapping ability. However, I know we've talked about how disruptive such an ability can be in the past, and so I thought I would just see if you thought adding another character with such an ability (albeit a much more controlled one) would be a good idea before attempting to make a profile for him.

Well, how exactly do you plan to use this third character to help with the twins? I'm just concerned that you might end up RPing by yourself if these characters end up grouping up together. Usually when other characters see a group of people chatting, they don't jump in because they feel like they would be interrupting them. It sure would stink if you were stuck in a situation where you're RPing by yourself. I also don't want you to get stuck with three gender swappers. If it's developing the twins' characters, the crew members and I could always help out? And if something isn't working very well, you could always tweak their profiles if you need to until you find something that does work. I'm sure if you explain your reasons, we can be understanding about it. Or if you want, I could always send my characters to constantly RP with the twins until you figure something out? It wouldn't bother me at all. Although I can't do it right now since I'm going to bed soon. ;___; I can understand trying out new characters and having trouble with their personality. Usually what I like to do when I'm stuck in that situation is to have them constantly interact with people the know so you don't have to worry about their responses to new people and can focus on character building. I have to apologize that I didn't really answer your question with a straight out yes or no. XD I usually like to know details first and then think some more and do more thinking. I just tend to think a lot. D8<
