He did not even have to look at the name of the sender to know that the text message was from Julie.
No one else used so many capitals and smiley faces.
With a disgruntled sort of mumbling sound, Gale dragged himself up off of his bed. He wasn't sure whether he actually wanted to go - in fact, he very nearly changed his mind halfway through dressing in favor of just crawling back under the covers and sleeping away the rest of the day. But, with a resigned sigh, he decided that he probably should after all.
He slouched down to the kitchen and made a beeline for the first person he saw that he knew - namely Marcus, and wobbled over, still half asleep from his nap.
"Are we having a baking lesson or something?"
Then he promptly set his forehead against the older trainee's back and may or may not have fallen back asleep.

Rin raised an eyebrow at the idle bickerings and.. once again... Rep seemed to be in the center of them.
She couldn't help but chuckle softly at him, "Making more friends I see."

Rep retained his barely civil attitude towards Ofie as she spoke. At this point he was of the opinion that it didn't really matter how clearly he wore his irritation, that she wouldn't pick up on it. He was starting to believe that she really was just that naive and trusting. Whatever, he could live with it. It'd always be handy to keep a meat shield nearby, you never knew when you'd have to have someone valiantly sacrifice themselves for your good. He slapped her a little too roughly on the shoulder with what from other people might have been manly over enthusiasm but from him was really just an excuse to hit her a bit. "You make a good point man! You might save my life one day!"
At least she was right about the showing no mercy part, he figured, as far as on the battlefield went.
"And mhmmm" he crooned "All muscle."
Tracey sniped, apparently not too keen on people making Rep even more insufferable.
"I'm only decent when people don't piss me off if I'm honest. If they do I tend to be...much less pleasant. You've not though, you are actually pretty decent." He blinked at the princess golem comment, he hadn't had the fortune or misfortune to do princess island yet so hadn't ran into them. "A princess golem? Do I even want to know?" It sounded somewhat disturbing.
He gave Rin a smug little smirk for her comment. "The ladies are all over me."

Gale looked...beat. The death hunter trainee got a gentle shake as he leaned against Marcus. "Wake up Gale. Come on." Another light shake. "This is a 'very important mission' Gale." He glanced over at Julie. "We should uh-" ******** he wasn't sure what they should do. "yeah. I don't think we'll be baking. Maybe taste testing something later but not baking."

Sasha blinked a few times as she peered over at the dark haired trainee, shaking her head. "I honestly have no idea. I've never seen a mess this bad. Do .. do we just start cleaning?" Sasha got busy drawing her hair over her shoulder, effortlessly looping it into a braid.

"Well, if the pick axe is an indicator we might be doing more than cleaning," Syd said, shoving her sleeves up higher and looking around. "Would it be offensive to take off our coats, do you know?" she asked quietly. "I would rather not get it dirty redoing a kitchen." Killing monsters was one thing, but construction work was something entirely different.

Sasha was probably the wrong person to ask such a question to. Her eyes widened and she looked a little boggled. Leaning in, Sasha whispered loudly, "I think we have to wear them. Whenever we're not in our dorm, I mean." Having finished her braid, Sasha quickly tucked it down the back of her jacket.

Ofelia staggered as Rep hit her shoulder, the sting of his hand instantly producing a red welt against her tanned skin. It wouldn't bruise, Ofelia wasn't a delicate flower by any means, and she laughed off the pain as she shook her shoulder to stretch the muscle. Any lesser woman would have kicked him in the balls - Ofelia wasn't stupid enough to think that he'd hit her that hard on accident. Rep had told her before he liked hitting women and well, she was a woman. His strike against her may have appeared to the others as friendly but Ofelia knew somewhat better. "Ah'd be more than honored ta help ya out - we sunnies gotta stick tagother or else Ah'm certain Allen an' Simon would get pissy." Ofelia put an emphasis on their names for some reason. Just because she could.
Next time ask him to punch you in the gut. I'm curious to see if you'll vomit as a result. Inside her mind Rue was cheering for Rep and his acts of violence. The boo hag was thrilled that someone enjoyed bruising her human host, and maybe one day Rep would just go for it and kill Ofelia. Ahhh, one can only hope. . .
Ofelia's face moved to an expression of disgust over Rue's snarks here and there but she pressed on, looking to Cass and then to Rin. "What's a Princess Golem? An' Hi Rin! Fancy seein' ya!"

"Oh," Sydney said. "It is really important, I think..." Now she was imagining grease stains on her beloved coat and fighting the urge to cry. "We need to show our pride in our division." And she was proud, she was! But--but--kitchen grease on her white coat!!

Reading the text that she had gotten from Julie and wondered for a second if she should go but it Aklin reminded her that any and all experiences would be good for her and if she didn't go then it was time for twenty questions. So putting her book down as she didn't want to answer questions right that second and knew that her partner would do it if she didn't go so without second thoughts she headed for the kitchens to she what she could do to help. Tori as of yet hadn't gone on a mission with Julie before, heard things but she truly didn't know what to expect or know that it was a bad idea to go.
Looking at the remains kitchen and seeing how badly it was destroyed and was stunned and didn't know what to think for a second. Seeing Julie in what she was wearing and doing had Tori confused a little. Now she knew why Before hadn't baked anything for a while with the kitchens looking the way they were. She hoped that they were there to help with putting the kitchen back in working order. Tori walked into the kitchen quietly waiting for more orders on what to do as she hadn't a clue.

"Don't worry," Sasha hesitated a moment before she reached over and mildly patted the other woman on the shoulder. "I'm.. I'm sure the quartermaster will have something to clean it with. I mean... surely they must."

"Yes, they did get the stench out of it after the yeti incident," Sydney said, more to reassure herself than the other girl. "I wasn't certain they would be able to." Izy asked.
Be quiet, I LIKE my coat, Syd thought, unconsciously frowning slightly. "I wonder if we'll be getting pick axes as well," she said, instead of harping on the coat issue. "Oh, forgive me, my name is Sydney. Sydney Lowe, Mist Division. And you are?"

Cass shot Marcus a thoughtful glance when he walked in too, giving him a small smile before she nodded to Rin with a light smile.
"Well, I'm glad to hear that I'm a decent person too." Cass seemed pleased to know she was making a good impression - probably part of her 'I don't give a damn' mentality of certain things. Never the less, it seemed she'd surprised both Ofelia and Rep on the top of Princess Golems. "Well, if you ever do Princess Island or the Mist-taken Tower, you'll run into them. Just so you know, every Hunter on the island has their physical aspects put into a database so when training 'Princess' Golems are set out for us to rescue or defend they can look like...any of us."
She bit her lower lip.
"Only they tend to sing and be very..princess-y... In fact!" She seemed to suddenly remember something, fishing out her phone and looking for a particular picture she'd snapped before she held her phone out to the two Sun trainees.
Poor Bix
"I snapped a picture to show it to Bix after one of my tower runs and never deleted it. So...that's about what you should be expecting from it. They're pretty helpless little things, but at least they're light enough to carry."

Nona hummed quietly from the recesses of Sasha's mind. Up to this point she'd been a little quiet. It was a relief. "I'm Sasha Belrose. Ah.. Life division." < Nona does not see any of her favorites here.> There was a long pause. < Nona supposes she will just... stare at Rep for a while, then.>

Rin chuckled at Rep, "Sure. All over you to stab you in the back you mean. I wonder if I sat a knife here just in range of both who would get it buried between your shoulder blades."
But she shot the scarred woman a suspicious look, "Who the hell are you and why the ******** do you know my name?"
Her lip curled and her brows furrowed. She was distrustful already. Pegging the strange woman as a stalker.
She was so agitated she unfortunately missed Cass's nod and smile. Which is a shame. That might have calmed Rin's paranoia a bit in the heat of the moment.
