Riza, definately. She's much more down-to-earth, and I love her personality. She's hard-working, loyal, and definately not somebody to mess with. Winry just seems like some typical girl-next-door. She's nice and everything, but very boring.

I like Riza best. She's so serious that she makes me laugh. When she adopts Hayate is such a funny scene! Cruel, but funny! xd And then when she gives him food. She says some orders first! Also, she's very brave and has a heart of steel!
Oh! And if Riza from the series was great... I loved Chibi Riza and her Hayate squad!!! rofl

Riza seems so much cooler so I would choose Riza.

personally i would pic Riza without a doubt. im not that fond of winry.....i mean im not about to bash her(i respect other peoples veiws) i think she is just wanting to be spoiled...(mind you what girl doesn't) i mean she cares for Ed and Al....so you have to like her a little bit...besides without her and pinako Ed would be in a wheelchair.there would be no "Fullmetal" without her...otherwise it would be the Fullchaired alchemist.

Another Riza fan here. I love her for how serious she usually is, and also her kick-a** gunner skills. Plus, we're getting dishloads of her past with the current manga chapters, and by what I'm seeing, she's really improved since her kid days.
I don't really 'hate' Winry though....I just find her a little too smiley-smiley at time. smile

Riza Hawkeye, all the way. She's my absolute favorite female anime/manga character. She's very down-to-earth and protective of the people she loves (like Roy). When you look at it, she has to be tough. The military is predominately men, so she has to be able to hold her own.

it's really hard to chosse mechanical skills vs. incredable skills with fire arms, i like them bouth and i can't really choose because well winry is as good with awrench as riza is with a gun.Band gun beats wrench so Riza lovely lovely Riza heart heart heart , and i like her name.
