THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Hmm…something felt…wrong. She had this horrible sinking feeling the further she went along down this path.
The feeling was justified as she was grabbed. She struggled, of course, ignoring how whatever had grabbed her smelled like strawberries, but it was futile. The next thing Hel knew was that she was in a disgustingly pink room, being served tea, which she hated with a passion. Tea was a weak drink. Not only that, but the creature’s three children were staring at her.
To make matters worse, it escorted her out afterwards. With one measly flag.
“Did you know you should have gone left?”
“Did you know I think you will make excellent beef jerky?”

OPEN RACE COURSE After he had made his way back from the infirmary Titus had found that the weather had changed. Now it was no longer windy and wet but instead foggy, hot and...still a bit wet. It felt like he was in a sauna. " Did you know that according to suicide statistics, Moonday is the favored day for self-destruction." His little Lepus guide chimed in. " That's nice to know, I wish you would have kept it to yourself." At least it wasn't Moonday? Grumbling Titus moved on to find a different course. There was no way he was going to try to traverse a jungle in this hot and humid weather. That and he had nearly walked over the ravine the first time. This wouldn't bode well not being about to see in this dense fog. After a bit of walking he found something else to try. Race course? He looked over the creatures he had to choose from, making a face at his options. Naturally he was headed for the horse because why the hell would he ride anything else? That was until he found something take his legs out from under him. The demon landed on something warm and furry and noted how they were already moving toward the beginning of the course. "Hey...what the hell?" " Did you know mountain goats do not butt heads. Instead they poke each other in the hindquarters or on the backside. As a result of this constant fighting, male mountain goats have developed an extra-thick layer of skin to protect their behinds." The little Lepus smiled dumbly staring off into the distance. " Mountain Goat...what?" That's when Titus managed to look down and found his mighty steed was indeed a mountain goat.....fantastic. >8| ((OOC: Day: 2 Student name: Titus Mount Chosen: Mountain Goat MOUNT COMPATIBILITY : 7 FLAGS OBTAINED: 0 WEATHER MECHANICS: foggy and humid BONUS MECHANICS: N/A ))

Rock Climbing
"Did you know you are likely to die here? It's true." The Lepus guide gave it's comforting support, and Mot stared up at the rock wall. He was sweating bullets, and just thinking felt like a task too great for the reaper. But it was just a rock wall. Climbing was no big deal, right?
As if the dice gods had heard his thoughts, as soon as Mot was at a height high enough for painful fallings, he slipped. It was sharp, pointy and painful.
Instant Failure.

OPEN RACE COURSE (bwahaha status effect works in my favor 8D; so 10 instead of 11)
There wasn't much that Titus could do at this point. They were already on the trail and it was more effort than he wanted to exert getting back. Oh well, guess he would stick it out but it was less than comfortable riding on this mangy carpet of fur.
"Did you know that-"
"I'm sure I did!" Titus interrupted hoping to cut the Lepus off. He was already thinking of ways to BBQ the little b*****d when this course was over.
At their slow leisure pace Titus managed to see a flag in the fog, though barely. Reaching out he snagged it as they passed and handed it back to the Lepus to keep a hold of.

OPEN RACE COURSE ((-1 with status makes the roll 1)) So far so good and the Mountain Goat wasn't giving him any trouble. Perhaps it was the horns. Creatures with horns seemed to have a sense of intelligence. Okay maybe not but at least they understood one another. Up ahead Titus spotted another flag and snagged it as they went. He was already doing better. ((OOC: Day: 2 Student name: Titus Mount Chosen: Mountain Goat MOUNT COMPATIBILITY : 7 FLAGS OBTAINED: 2 WEATHER MECHANICS: foggy and humid BONUS MECHANICS: N/A ))

OPEN RACE COURSE ((3 instead of 4 with status))
Titus was really hoping to get his mountain goat to go a bit faster. He had never ridden one before, and never planned to again, but it would work like a horse right? Using his heels he kicked into the goat's side and only managed to get an odd noise and an extra temperamental goat. Guess that didn't work.
"Did you know night vision is displayed in green because it has the most shades distinguishable, of all colors, to the eye?"
The Lepus's advice was even getting on the goat's nerves.

The goat was giving him dirty looks. Titus wasn't entirely sure why. He only wanted to goat to go over a ravine. It wasn't like it was that hard of a job to do. It was a jacking goat.

"Did you know that you aren't very good with animals?" The little Lepus asked.
"Pssh, whatever, this thing likes me just fine." Titus patted the goat's head rather roughly earning a snort from the creature. "See it loves me."
And without warning the goat started to buck and Titus slipped off its back and fell back into the ravine once again. His scream could be heard on the way down accompanied by his Lepus.
"Did you know, I don't think this plan was thought out very well?"

The Jungle Course
Xiu couldn't claim to be particularly excited about going through another obstacle--especially after that most terrible death from the ice path--but it wasn't as if she could sit back and just watch either. She had to carry her own weight, and hopefully that meant that she would be able to grab a few more flags this time around.
Truth be told, considering how foggy and humid it already was, the Jungle Course was probably not the best choice. Her Lepus Guide wasn't helping her nerves either.
"Did you know that this place is infested with crocodiles?" It chirped helpfully, front paws on Xiu's shoulder as it poked out of her backpack.
Xiu chose not to respond. Instead, she convinced herself that she would (hopefully) be fine, and went ahead to venture in.
She immediately began to search for flags, knowing that that was the main goal of all the courses--to get as many flags as they could for their team. Reaching out, she ruffled through leaves and bushes in search for the red object, and--ah! There was one! The baku grabbed it quickly, only to freeze when she heard a noise from behind her. She turned slowly, catching sight of a dark figure that was quickly making its way towards her.
Her Lepus Guide ducked into her backpack, his ears the only things that stuck out. "Did you know that you should--"
"Run! Yes, I know!" Xiu hissed, before immediately bolting in the opposite direction.

The Jungle Course
Somehow, she had managed to escape that thing, and she now found herself at a ravine. A very intimidating ravine--one look down was all it took to send the baku stepping backwards and shuddering. How in Jack's name was she supposed to get over that? She didn't have any rope, and there wasn't a bridge, or--
Her Lepus Guide chose this moment to actually be helpful for once. It tapped her on the shoulder, and when it had the baku's attention, pointed to a large tree by the ravine. Xiu immediately knew what it was suggesting she do--it wanted her to climb the tree and then jump over to the other side...which sounded like careless. Ridiculous. Dangerous.
...and was possibly her only option right now.
Gritting her teeth, Xiu made her way towards the tree, carefully climbing up the trunk. As she worked her way onto one of the larger branches and prepared herself to jump, she heard a distinct snap from beneath her feet.
Oh shoot.
The ghoul and her Lepus were sent flying to the other side of the ravine, having made it safely across, but not without their fair share of bruises.

The Jungle Course
Oh Jack, a swamp. Suddenly the Lepus' fact came back to mind--the one about this place being filled with crocodiles. W-well...she didn't see any hanging around right now, which was a good thing! All that she saw were logs that were poking through the water's surface.
Okay, all she had to do was get across. Xiu took the first step...
...and the "log" immediately lunged upwards, snapping its mouth at her. Welp, so much for that.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
"Did you know that you're pretty terrible at these courses?"
Riyo's wet, dripping form stood at the entrance of a cave momentarily, staring into the endless dark abyss with an unamused look on her face. She didn't acknowledge the lepus, but she certainly heard him. It was hard NOT to hear him.
There was no point in saying anything before she stepped in. Maybe she could catch whatever hid in there by surprise. Yess... Surprise. She'd gotten no flags on the course before, and it made her feel particularly terrible. She wouldn't let her team down. She COULDN'T let her team down.
"Did you know there's over one thousand eyes on you right now? Did you know they're all judging every step you take and word you say? Did you know that all your friends will be disappointed in your imminent failure? Did you know..." He just kept going on... And on... And on... Oh sweet Sally why wouldn't he shut up?
A growling sound arose from the demon's throat, and became louder the longer her guide kept it up.
"SHUT UP. WILL YOU SHUT UP? FOR THE LOVE OF JACK AND ALL UNHOLY, JUST SHUT THE ******** UP!"
The echo of her screaming at the lepus attempted to drive her point even further across, and for a moment, there was sweet silence.
"... Did you know there's a hole in front of you?"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" The ghoul screamed as, rather absent-mindedly, she shoved forward. There was indeed a hole there, which caused Riyo to eat dirt... Then become entrapped in a net... Which was dragged into a pit.
With spikes.
So many... Sharp... Painful spikes.
FAILED.

THE WATER LAKE
Hel was…kind of excited. Maybe too excited about this. Underwater basket weaving. She was rather familiar with weaving, so the prospect of doing it underwater sounded pretty awesome. She heard the course was pretty foggy, but apparently it was even foggier today.
“Did you know it’s foggy and humid today?”
Maybe she could weave this Lepus a coffin.
Just one more day with it…
Huh…this pier seemed in bad condition. Hel listened to it creak under her weight, not taking the care to notice one in particular one was very rotted. All Hel heard as an especially bad groan of the wood before it snapped and down she went. The ghoul let out a strangled cry as her bosom, luckily (or unluckily) stopped her from going through the hole she made completely. Eww…just her feet were dangling in the water.
“Did you know you just failed this course?”
Oh Jack…she was going to eat it raw. She really was.
