The wind whipped and whizzed past, snow melting away in the torrents of rain as the Igor tumbled all the way into the blackened Underground of Darkness.
Gathering himself up with a groan, he squinted about. He could hear something up ahead, distantly but... far too distant to worry him. If it was something dangerous... well, he'd cross that bridge when he got there. Hopefully it was just one of his team mates? Maybe? Either way, he had to fumble himself out again, didn't he.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
He could do this, he could- the ground suddenly leaped out from under him, and the hunchback went tumbling.
"Did you know..." The Lepus hollered, clinging to his back for dear life as they went, "That uneven limbs and improper proportion are a standard in most Igor models?"
Skewered at hte bottom of the pit by nasty spikes, Christof gave an irritable groan. It was just the fact his arms lay several yards away on their own spikes that saved the Lepus from his own dismemberment, and he was able to hop away to find help.

Long Grass Field
It was a brand new day, and she was glad to see that the rain and wind had stopped, although it was now foggy and humid... Fog... She sighed, rubbing her bare arms as she stared at the grass field; she didn't get a chance yesterday, but today seemed like a good day to try. After all, there was no way she was going back into that dark cave, even if Amrita had done well.
"Did you know," The lepus guide turned around to peer at her as she turned around to look at it, "That it is very warm?"
Lizzy couldn't help but sigh again as she braced herself and walked into the tall grass, pushing blades of grass aside as she went deeper into the obstacle course; so far so- She squeaked as she tripped over uneven ground, both the fog and the tall grass obstructing her view. However, as she was about to push herself off the ground, the lepus guide in the backpack on her back reached out to grab a flag that she had - luckily - fell down beside.
... Well, that was a good start, right?

"Owww!" She winced, immediately squarting down to rub her ankle; it was now red, and... Did something bite her? She rubbed the area which was causing her pain, frowning as she stood up and looked around for the culprit; it's not like she couldn't continue, but... Was it only going to get worse from here on?
"Did you know that bite wounds can get infected and fester?"
"You're not helping!" She muttered, clearly frustrated as she continued on her way. However, the pain on her ankle soon left, quickly replaced by numbness in the foot...

As she stumbled on, Lizzy could no longer feel her foot and had to rely on stepping forward and dragging her numbed foot behind her; she couldn't help feeling miserable and tired as she hugged herself; she knew that the Trials were going to be difficult and tedious, but she didn't do very well at any of them at all, so far... It made her feel almost helpless, like so many times before.
Sighing, she froze when she heard hissing coming from... Nearby? Snapping out of her trance, she found herself standing near a clearing of snakes. They turned to look at her before attacking, and suddenly, it became obvious to her who the ankle and foot biting culprit was.
"WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SNAKES!"

She somehow managed to escape the snakes, panting as she stopped and flopped on the ground for a quick rest, trying to catch her breath; her foot was feeling worse now, and despite the numb, she could still feel the underlying pain. Shivering, she was about to stand up again when the ground beneath her feet started to shift, causing her to fall flat on her face. When she looked up, she saw a snake that was probably the largest she had ever seen. Too tired to move, she just closed her eyes and laid still as it struck.
"... Why does it always have to be-"
There was only a brief moment of pain before everything went black.

Feeling assured he found somewhere better than a cliff, he moved in, and thus made a terrible mistake.
Hooves and Ice.
Calder did not wear studs, horseshoes, or even rubbers of any kind. The result was not elegant as Calder was introduced to ice. LOTS of ice, and fell flat on his a** - many times.As the ice cracked and Calder struggled to get on his feet, somewhere a snowball said and hit him right in the face JUST as he was started to stand, and he fell back down.

THE WATER LAKE
Although yesterday was an abysmal failure that landed him in the infirmary, today was...well, not so bad. The weather was nicer, for one thing. It was muggy, and warm, and the lake looked temperate.
Out of all the courses, Underwater Basketweaving seemed the least...action and adventurey.
Barth looked with loathing at the rock climbing course, and prepared for some relaxing, sitting still, and doing practically nothing. He didn't bother with the breathing apparatuses. He could...hold his breath a while. The old boardwalk looked rotted, and he navigated it carefully to the end of the dock, where he sat down and dangled his feet leisurely in the water.
The fog made it hard to see anything, which put the cameramen out of luck.
He slid off the pier.
But instead of water, his claws sunk into the soupy marsh and found...vines? Err. A lot of vines. Rather a lot of vines that weren't his. He sunk, and found himself in a tangly mess.
He never even made it to the baskets.

Snow Dash!
Snow...she'd dealt with snow before. Twice, even! What could possible go----oh right, ice. Fantastic. Her limbs seized up on her from the extreme cold, leaving her to curse her luck in frozen bliss until someone eventually helped her out...and, you know, let her thaw.

OPEN RACE COURSE
Christof wobbled towards the race course that day. He was still feeling tender about the stitches, but determination kept him together, his eyes on the prize. He had selected his course, only to be horrible disappointed that they wouldn't allow him to bring in Chopper. Alas. Instead, he limped along the lines of creatures, eyeing each before settling at the pony. He stared long and hard into those dim, dark eyes, his own brows furrowed.
Calder would never forgive him.
He moved along.
Finally, he hesitated at the sight of a rather large goat chewing slowly on some cud. He hesitated. There were far more feisty creatures nearby, the wolf throwing himself at the edge of his pen to snarl at the ostrich, but there was something about that shaggy gray fur and long horns that... was endearing.
Alright, he'd give him a go. Slow and steady sometimes won the race, right?
Apparently he was wrong. Not only did the creature wobble under his weight, but the moment they stepped foot onto the track, the damn thing tripped and both Igor and Goat went tumbling.
Christof groaned from the dirt. That's what he got.

Tried again.
And with a gust of wind, failed.
Ice was not a forgiving mistress, and his tailbone felt the full string of her wrath. Butt numb from hitting the ice and cold, Calder slid back in circles back to the very start. He hadn't even managed a few feet into the cave.

However, as hit breath puffed before him, his Lepus popped it's head out and pointed. Looking up, he saw the flag positioned on a hanging pole. This required standing, and crawling over, Calder grabbed the poke and pulled himself up to grab the flag. Once in hand, he slid back down to sit and winced.
"AH!"
WHY did he wear a kilt today?!!! Luckily nothing stuck in place though he instantly sat up and tucked his kilt between his legs.
TTnTT So cold.
