Hoops definitely weren't her mount's thing, and Shehk found herself patting it on the shoulder and telling it to slow down for a bit as they continued on, even if it seemed to be somewhat grouchier now.

OPEN RACE COURSE
Man, these courses were kind of special, from what Shehk could glean. But it was also kinda fun, actually. Shehk continued on along at a fairly nice pace until she saw what looked like another fall into the Abyss of the human world again, nudging the wolf she was riding to go a little bit faster - causing it to run at dead speed and take a flying leap, just to pant tiredly on the other side.
Wheeze, wheeze.
"Awww, poor baby..."

One wrong turn landed the pair in quicksand and Shehk was off sinking, along with her darling wolf mount, into the sandy abyss.

The sight of Siddie was not a comforting one, other then a few light scratches on her own face where nothing compaird to the purple stains along Siddie's hands and legs. Before she could even move to get up her ghoulfriend collapsed beside her resting her head on her lap.
"S-siddie are you okay? What did you do..." She glanced towards the Lepus frowning a bit before looking down again. "Sid?"

Though he'd been brought back, no worse for wear, the siren's ear wings were drooping considerably. And from the looks of it, they were already starting to feel the burn. Metaphorical burn at least he was pretty sure Shehk and Sammy would not like the fire. Still, going over to the smiddy ship, Israfel fished around his his coat pocket. He'd come dressed in warm, loose gear thankfully, and wasn't suffering too much from the waves of humidity yet. "Ummmm-" He was sure this was a bit invasive bul offering a protection charm he smiled. "We will do good." It was a simple chram designed to increase luck. Though if it would work was another story. "I am going to go do a course now, but be careful yes?" Nodding at the pair he skipped off Lepuis uide in tow. "Did you know that ninja pumpkins eat fish?" He actually thought that they ate FEAR but fish were good too.

Rock Climbing
Ohhhhh rock climbing! Bouncing a bit, he'd never taken part of this before. Grinning and swaying site to side as he tried to look through the fog, he couldn't see much above him but- Rocks! Climbing! He was sure to enjoy it! The lepus guide agreeded. Sort of.
"Did you know that when rocks fall everyone dies?"
"Everyone?"
"Did you know that everyone means someone?"
"But someone didn't change their name yet so they could be anyone."
"Did you know your shoe is untied?"
Chirping the siren bend down to remedy the problem. He was sure to put it into a nice bow and keep the laces tucked away.
Once done with that and making sure his backpack was secured, the monster felt it was time to do this. This being climb the wall. Climbing all the walls. The rocks were jagged, sharp, and bit into his hands like tiny blade. They stung yet he would press on. He had to.
Biting his lip the lepus began telling him about fish that would fly in the sky and rabbits that lived on the moon. Which was actually pretty interesting. It helped distract him from the pain of the rocks digging into his hands. Aside from that, once he was in a good position, he stuck the lepus back on his head. "So you can see what's going on and don't have to be in a stinky backpack!"
"Did you know that a lepus can see everything?"
His lepus guide was very smart.

Rock Climbing
Okay. he was good. The rocks in his skin could be ignored with the lepus talking to him, and- well. The lepus was very talkative and for Irafel, question asking machine he was, it was one inane fact with one dumb question after another. To the siren though, he was so happy with his lepus! It didn't yell at him for asking so many questions.
"Did you know that green nail polish attracts cats?" He didn't but he liked cats. Maybe he could do that when he got back! Shaken from his thought,s the very ledge he was climbing chose to shake as well. What the lepus guide had told him earlier.... "Oh jack"
Holding onto the ledge of dear JACKING life, the siren trembled as the rocks fell past him.
"Did you know that you almost died?" Shaking Israfel barely managed a nod.

Rock Climbing
Rocks had been avoided but really, the siren was a bit more wary now of the situation. His lepus was still blathering to him and he listened, taking the information in, (retaining it however, was up for debate). Looking down he swallowed. Jack, this place was... not fun. Not fun. He could fly but- cheating was bad.
"Did you know that cheating will make ponies hate you?" Wides went wide as he was told this. He didn't want ponies to hate him he liked the ponies! He really did! He didn't want to upset them. Wings tucked firmly heind his back he carried on and up.
The sounds of chirps and cheeps caught his attention however and- "Aw aw aw-" Cooing at the baby bird dragons he failed to notice their parents flying angrily nearby. As he felt them picking at his hand he made the mistake of letting go of the wall. His first reaction was fly but-
Can't cheat.
Grabbing the lepus to keep it from getting squished he hit the ground with a cry. AUGHHHH he just hoped the ponies didn't hate him.

Did you know... you're in last place?
It echoed from the backpack the entire way back, reminding the boil as if he didn't realize his situation. Okay, so maybe he had forgotten and the first reminder was helpful as Lucien finally made it back to the obstacle course it had become the sixteenth time that he'd been reminded of his position. He couldn't even get a word in about it because in a bizaare fate that seemed to reflect the lepus guide having an uncanny look into Lucien's head, it rung in with the following:
Did you know... shoes would help?
Seriously, what was with these shoes? How did it even know when it was trapped inside a bag? Maybe it was a magical shoe seeking lepus who guided poor unfortunate souls to shoes? Or maybe it just had a shoe fetish.
"It's too hot for this!" He cried out, dropping the bag back on the ground and making a run for it. Maybe it was a fluke that it had managed to follow him before. Well, it was more than worth a shot to try, even in this humidity. Lucien was lucky, and in his rush he'd made a good choice. He'd run right to the snow dash obstacle course. At least his feet could be cool!
