After the last two courses the black dog never wanted a course that was ether icy, or in a cave. Sadly, despite his choice in an outside course, the weather was not on his side today ( not that it was any other day ).
Snow and hail pelted and blinded him, making the climb up rather difficult, not to mention dangerous. Especially as he reached a particular patch of rocks, nearly too sharp to grip and threatening to make him fall. If he didn't risk it and continue his climb up, he probably would have to. Fortunately, with a lot of effort, he forced himself to hang on and even managed to climb up and past the sharp rocks, without injury to his hands. In fact, the only damage done, was the constant downpour of hail chipping away at him, but there was no stopping that.

Tybalt somehow managed to climb higher, but just as he was beginning to think he was making progress, the cliff side gave a large rumble and began to shake.
Immediately the black dog looked up and spotted the large boulders crashing down the side of the cliff--sadly in his direction and froze. There was no way to avoid, or protect himself against it--not this many and not without his ability to phase. There was, however, possibly one thing he could do, but it was risky, considering he hadn't tried it very often.

Too bad he hadn't practiced it more often. Levitation, though it was an ability all ghosts had... in a location like this, it was going to require a lot more training in order to stay afloat for very long.... and that was training he didn't have.
The black dog managed to stay within the air for about a minute, avoiding the large boulders as the shot past them with crushing force. Unfortunately, his own luck ran out and his levitation failed him, sending him plunging down after them. It was too bad this hadn't happened a little further down the cliff side... at least then, maybe it would have saved him a trip to the infirmary.

Long Grass FieldThis looked...interesting. Maybe slightly amusing. LW was crouched at the rim of the bowl, looking down at the tall grass. Her tail swished in what could be considered an excited manner. Except for the fact it was hailing. AND JACK DAMNED SNOWING! The she-wolf did not like it. Not one bit. She hated snow with a passion. It brought back memories of her first field trip.
Stupid cold white flakes!
Still, the grass looked like it could block some of the hail and snow while she traversed through it. Hopefully anyways. She shivered, and made up her mind. In a flash, a small crimson wolf hunkered down, tail wagging. And then she launched herself into the grass. It went something like this upon first entering.
That did not last very long. The buzzing and humming she could easily ignore. The sinister howl made her slow down a little, ears alert and nose to the air. The loud scream made her jump about a foot in the air, tail tucking between her legs and ears flattening against her skull. Then she was faceplanting into the ground.
"Wha- aldhfknlhohere!" LW growled into the ground. Okay maybe the grass wasn't as fun as she originally thought.

Long Grass FieldHer ears were alert and her movements much more cautious now. After being caught by surprise and knocked down, LW was not taking chances again. Especially with everything being darker and misleading. Every few minutes the she-wolf would pause and sniff at the air. Trot trot trot pause. Sniff. Repeat. This is how it went until she reached a clearing. A heavy sigh of relief escaped her as she perked up a little to examine her surroundings-
And a scent hit her nose as her feet refused to move properly. OH JACKDAMNIT! LW growled and cursed and tried to free herself from the muck she was stuck in. It took some impressive wiggling and bunny hoping to accomplish, and by the time she was free, half her coat was covered in muck.
Stupid course and stupid tall grass!

Long Grass FieldOkay she was starting to get a little freaked out now. An involuntary whine escaped as she padded as quietly as she could throw the grass. Any strange sound she heard and LW would freeze, ears trying to pinpoint where it was. Eyes darting to and fro. Her tail was almost plastered to her stomach. Some mighty werewolf she was.
It also dawned on her that the howling she'd been hearing before was lacking. Yet the slithering sound that had started out as whispers were growing.
"I don't like this..." She muttered, stepping carefully- OH JACK THAT WAS A LARGE THING HISSING AT HER! The she-wolf yelped, tried to backtrack and tripped over her feet landing hard on her butt. She blinked at the snakes (they had to be bigger than Gabrian's serpent form!). They weren't attacking. In fact...they seemed to be trying to help? LW debated this, finally taking a hesitant step in the direction they were directing her towards. Ren was probably going to have a word or several to say about her trusting strange snakes...

Long Grass FieldLW kept glancing upwards. Was that light starting tp trail through the grass? Was she getting closer to the end?! Things seemed to be easier to see now. And there was hail pieces starting to land on the ground once again. Oh and something big moving just over-
The she-wolf froze, heart pounding. OhJack OhJack OhJack. What was that?! Skullssss! Okay. Okay she just had to breathe. And keep a clear head. And run like hell. Yes. That was the plan of action. Except, before she could even take another step, she was lurching forward tail over head to smack right into a gimassive head. A squeak escaped as LW just stared with wide violet eyes. Dear sweet Skellington Jack! That was one big a** snake. Just....how big was...it? She didn't really get much chance to think at all beyond that frozen state of 'HOJACKDAMN BIG a** SNAKE' before fangs just about as big as her body struck her.
And then there was nothing.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
The first thing Jove noticed when he was sealed up inside that cave, was that being in his natural form made big dark caves seem even bigger... and darker. =(
He trotted along in the darkness, using his ears as a substitute for his lack of vision beyond the range of his glow. But all he could hear was the soft padding of his own feet on the stone and bits of gravel. He froze as something came into sight in the darkness.
And then jumped forward to grab the flag.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Jove was feeling increasingly skittish, sensing the path getting narrower. For a larger student it would have been almost claustrophobic. He almost didn't even notice the fork, it could have been merely an indent in the wall...

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Suddenly a growling sound, and the scent of fragrant strawberries hit the pup, and fearing the ground collapsing under his feet or his fur being set on fire, he ran all the way back to that indent, and hunkered down inside it. That was when he realized it wasn't an indent at all.
Maybe he should keep moving.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Trotting out into the open, Jove quickly realized there was only one way to go. A little hole. It was perfectly foxfire-sized, no problem for the little ball of fluff. For once he was glad he wasn't big like Herryk, or tall like Ren. This part would be ea-
Jove let out a loud YIP as he was grabbed around one little foot by... A TENTACLE. Perhaps it was his fluff, or his small size, but he managed to slip free and make a dash towards the small opening.
