Mmmmmm yes, and roll the same for litters of cubs. I think perhaps each cub gets his/her own roll instead of doing it by litter. smile Originally I was going to allow people to pick their Stone of Power, but this will work a touch better. And I can always have it set up that they may request a specific one for plot purposes. While I realize that these 12 would probably never be found all together, this is the goddess of Gems. =D
Very good idea Jehan on the guards. That sounds reasonable to me. This pride will be ridiculously easy to get into.
Looking at the map, I believe I'd like the pride located between Mt. Elgon and Mt. Kilimanjaro, more on the Chalbi Desert side. Last post

THE Jehan However, I think only the main stones should be used to keep things simple. Minor gems could be used for crafting and such, but maybe they could be thought of as lesser-quality versions of the main 12. Or perhaps only the main 12 are found in the cavern, giving it a sort of religious quality to it. This is what I meant. XDD *fails at clarity lately*

Yeah, that's why I suggested the cavern be a religious thing, so it would be plausible for all 12 to be there. Maybe something the Goddess creates in the pride history? Lol, I just looked at that map. Half the prides on there don't even exist anymore.

There's isn't much history, but I will definitely put that in. It's important.
Hahahahhah, yeah I know the map is really really old, it was more to help determine lay of the land. It doesn't matter where anyone else is, just us! Lol j/k j/k. If its to be a trading pride though they'll want to be close enough to sell their work but not close enough to be munched on.

As always, the following is all mere suggestion;
For the hierarchy, maybe have a main ruler (Just a king? Just a queen? Both?) who rules over the entire pride, then 'nobles' who head the 4 houses? These nobles would also be like advisors to the King/Queen, possbly.
As for other ranks, ther could be;
Miner/Seeker - those who mine/find gems.
Artisans - those who craft what the miners mine/find. Also knowledgeable in the supposed 'magical properties' of the gems.
Trader/Merchant - Trades/barters the goods made by the Artisans.
Hunter/Huntress - a default position.
Elders - 'Retired' Miners/Artisans/Traders who are both old and highly knowledgeable about the supposed 'magical propertie's of the gems.
Youth - Default rank for cubs-juves and adols that don't intend to take up Miner/Artisan ranks.
Apprentice - Adols that intend to become a Miner or Artisan upon adulthood.

I like those suggestions!
Though if you're set on the whole twin thing, Mag, each of the four kings/queens could be assigned to rule over a house.

Lol Fayth, I do have most of those ranks, but I'll add the ones I don't have yet.
@Jehan- Yes that is a good idea. Adding that.
The info is almost complete! Yay! I am still open to name suggestions, but I have four and will post them in a poll here in a second.
The other final bit is do we want the Houses called Houses, or Clan or something else entire? And we need names for them. Each gem has an element that could be used for the house names if nothing better comes up.
