"Alright, Chiyo! Thunderbolt!"
Shikari and her little blitzle Chiyo were practicing their new moves. Now that Chiyo was doing better, they hoped she might do some battling. There was that little question of whether Chiyo would be able to do it well without much direction, since Shikari couldn't see, but they'd cross that bridge when they came to it.
Their practice was about to be interrupted. Chiyo whinnied a warning that someone else had appeared in the vicinity, and from the tone it seemed it was another pokemon. "Hey, Chiyo, you think it wants to battle us?" The Blitzle didn't know, but SHE certainly wanted to battle, so she answered in the affirmative. "OK, Chiyo, Thunderbolt!!" The zap caused a yelp and something round to hit Shikari's foot. She picked up the orb and was instantly assaulted - the Poochy jumped up and clamped its jaws onto her head. "WYHAAAA!!" Shikari screamed. Chiyo took matters into her own hooves and sent another Thunderbolt flying, painfully zapping both Shikari and the Poochyena. O.O;; It let go.
Feeling a bit fried, Shikari apologized to the gray mutt for apparently taking what belonged to it. It yipped, apparently liking her attitude. It hopped onto her shoulder and settled in, Extrasensite orb in tow. The Poochyena would eventually forget about its prize, and Shikari would return it to whoever it belonged to; but for right now, she had a new friend....and wasn't about to touch its treasured possession again for a long time.

And the winner for the Rampardos is... Qixel! Congrats! It isn't a pink unicorn but it's something right? XD Will be rolling for the Sandshrew winner in my next post~

Whelp, the winner of the Poochie contest is angelgirl2345! Congrats! While I did weigh how much Pokemon each entrant owned, Angel won with her absolutely peculiar characters (LOVE Lucian xD) and approach to the prompt. Give yourselves a good pat on the back for effort everyone! It was a joy reading how your characters chased down the Poochie. Better luck next time!
