"Perhaps you two should just trade. Since apparently you can't take care of the other species all that well," Shun finally said in a rather flat tone. After all, Riyo didn't seem particularly receptive of the advice Mitsu gave her on how to take care of the pup and now she was doing more or less the same about cats.
Taka just continued to run around, after the headcrab, or at least tried to. Where did it go? He began to sniff around, trying to find where it might have gone.

"How many cats have I seen?" Mitsu actually gave the question some thought because Mitsu really had no idea Riyo was taking the seniority over knowing best in this situation. "I've seen the ones outside, Xiu's cat, and...how many do you have in your room?" Riyo had a lot of cats and none of them quite acted like Ziggy. The demoness' cats were all friendly and actually sought attention while Ziggy...Ziggy wanted to live in the lime light while others suffered for it.
Riyo's further explanation didn't seem to quite fit though it seemed a bit closer. Fickle? Perhaps Ziggy was fickle? Though Mitsu wasn't entirely sure what Riyo was saying about herself in the process.
"T..trade?" Mitsu looked to Shun for a moment her brows furrowed. "But...Ziggy seems to like me its just...others." The lycan wasn't entirely sure Ziggy would get along with another owner even if forced to.

Inwardly Riyo facepalmed at Mitsu's answer. Was she serious? "A lot. I own a lot." The feline didn't like to count because that meant she'd have to put a limit on the cats she took in. "Honestly... You probably haven't seen all of them. Not all of them run to the door when people knock. And there's one of them..." She scratched the back of her head as she trailed off. "Mm. Nevermind." The ghoul didn't like to admit that there were some cats who didn't take to her, but there was at least one cat that didn't take to her. She really couldn't even pet him without risking a good scratch to the hand or worse.
"No. I don't trade. I only take cats off the street when I find ones that have no home." She'd kinda missed the whole point of what Shun was saying, much like Mitsu had missed hers with the prior comment. "And I'm sure Mitsu does her best." Hey, would you look at that? One nice thing to come out of Riyo's mouth today.

Shun raised an eyebrow there. Riyo had actually said something nice? Well that was a bit of a first, for him to hear at least. Shrugging, he just fell silent again while watching the dogs run around, trying to find the headcrab. The presence of the critter was a bit worrisome. He had to wonder if Mitsu breaking her door a lot allowed them to sneak in at times.

Mitsu looked to Shun shortly wondering why he was so quiet after his comment but the few nice words to tumble out of Riyo's mouth caught Mitsu off guard. She turned toward the demoness, confusion written on her face.
Then, her tail started to wag. It was something small but it was one of the nicest things Riyo had said about her and it made her happy. So much so her next decision came without thinking.
"Maybe you would have some advice then, Riyo? Since you are really good with cats." Mitsu shuffled to her closet stepping over the puppies as they zoomed passed. "Who knows, maybe Ziggy will like you."
If there were any warnings to be heard they fell on deaf ears as Mitsu cracked the closet door open. At first there was nothing and then the green head of the acrobat peeked out gazing around the room. She really didn't seem intrigued until she spotted the other occupants in the room. As soon as her eyes settled on Riyo and Shun those slits for pupils dilated consuming her eyes with black. OwO
Digging her claws into the floor Ziggy was off bounding off the furniture in the room and living up to her name sake of acrobat. She flew through the air landing nimbly on the couch before she sprang, claws out, right for Shun's face. It was a ritual, a right of passage, a routine even. His face just begged to receive her clawy goodness.
Tobi had been in the process of chasing the ball but as soon as the closet creaked open the pup stopped dead in his tracks and turned. The green streak made its way around the room and the pup, though slow, did his best to follow it barking up a storm in the process.

Maybe? Riyo was fairly confident that she'd have no problem with Mitsu's cat. It wasn't a cocky kind of confidence, but one of experience. At the very least, she didn't expect another Sabbath since this cat at least liked her owner.
The feline said nothing as the canine slowly made her way towards the closet door. The cat walking out hadn't really struck Riyo as some kind of maniac like Shun and Mitsu had been suggesting... But when those eyes went black...
The feline's eyes followed the green blur carefully as Ziggy bounced all over creation and then dove towards Shun's face. "Uh. Huh." The ghoul scratched her head as she observed the exchange, making no effort to stop it. This was Shun, after all.
Baka, who also carefully watched the new addition to the room, started barking when Ziggy went flying through the air. Holy poop! He didn't know whether to be terrified or impressed! Probably the former!

Shun frowned when it seemed like Ziggy was going to be let out. Great. He watched the closet carefully only to see the green fluff appear. And right on cue, she came flying right at him. Expecting it this time around, he glanced to the side and shadow stepped to the other end of the room, safe from the claws.
For now.
Taka's ears perked up once more as the cat showed up. Tilting his head, he watched as it went right after his master!
With a low growl, he soon began to bark at Ziggy.
"Taka." Shun said sternly. That worked to silence the pup in the mean time, but he appeared to be a bit confused for it.

In a poof Shun was gone and Ziggy gracefully bounced off the wall behind where the reaper had been standing a second prior and then up onto a bookshelf. All tails were swishing like mad those black eyes scanning the room for the reaper but...oh look.
If Ziggy's eyes could have gotten any blacker they would have, a cat like growl emitting from her throat as she eyed Riyo. Claws dug into the bookshelf as Ziggy laid herself flat her hindquarters wiggling as she prepared to pounce. Riyo was her new prey. Kitty beware! OwO
Tobi thought it the best idea to follow Ziggy to the bookshelf and bark up at her. He really couldn't see her from his vantage point but that wasn't going to stop the pup. No, he was in it for the long haul and decided to have himself a seat while he barked away at the green feline who obviously paid him or the other pups any mind.
"Ah, I'm sorry Shun!" Mitsu eased the closet closed for the time being afraid to let the rapalicious out. "I didn't think to warn you."

You would figure with the amount of cats Riyo had dealt with, she would've known what a lunge looked like and just how it would end, but she didn't move. In fact, the ghoul seemed to plant her feet into the ground. Her hands balled up into fists and her eyes narrowed as she braced herself for impact, fully prepared to take claws to the face. To run would make her prey. To stand where she was and take whatever was given would hopefully prove that she wasn't afraid of the fellow feline.

After a few minutes, there was a tentative knock at the door. "Hello? 'Scuse me, but can I - have you seen a headcrab?" came a possibly familiar voice. Along with another plaintive knock.
"Vance, you come out of there right now," the voice added.
The headcrab peeked out from under Mitsu's bed and then vanished again with a scrabbling sound.
((Quote me when you respond! I'm having a busy day but I want to make sure I get responses in a slightly more timely fashion than I did over the weekend. XD; Sorry about that! My life *tableflip*))

The cat had changed her target over to Riyo for now it seemed. Good. He didn't have to deal with her pouncing his face.. yet. Regardless of what he did, she just wouldn't stop trying to claw him up. Though, his attention shifted over towards the door. That voice... he heard it before. Shun heard the sound from under the bed and managed to catch sight of the headcrab. Just briefly. "Mitsu, keep an eye on Ziggy. I'll get the door..." he said while opening it just a bit. He didn't want any of the creatures inside to bolt on out after all. ".. Yes. There's a headcrab in here."Taka spotted it too. And as a result, he poked his head under the bed to try and get a better view of the critter.

"Uuumm..okay," Mitsu could keep an eye on Ziggy but catching the feline if she darted toward the door would be another matter. Mitsu had just managed to turn and see the headcrab peek out from under her bed only to dart back out of sight. So its name was....Vance?
Ziggy seemed to smile, was that even possible? Her focus was entirely on Riyo intrigued by the fact she didn't move. A challenge was being issued and Ziggy was more than willing to step up to the plate. Instead of immediately leaping toward the feline the acrobat decided to make a game of it. She flew from the bookshelf, far overhead of Riyo and landed on a small dresser Mitsu had set on the other side of the room.
It was like she had springs in her little paws because as soon as she landed she sprang back turning in mid air so that she was coming at Riyo's back with her claws out ready to cling.
Tobi on the other hand and missed the movement of the feline and continued to sit barking up at the top of the bookshelf. He was determined to get the cat an earful. Too bad she was no longer where he thought she was.

Ah, not attacking right away? Riyo didn't look impressed. Amused on the inside, perhaps. But not impressed. It had been awhile since a cat directly challenged her.
Instead of trying to follow the movements fully, the ghoul stood still. Her ears turned this way and that, listening to the sound of claws clacking on wood as she did at her own room. But there was an interruption in the usual sounds around them. Someone was banging at the door, making it very hard for the curious feline to NOT look that way.
Okay. She had to. There was no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Her eyes darted towards the door at about the time Ziggy's claws met her back. There was a small flinch, but the ghoul refused to cry out. She had been scratched by many cats. Some bigger, some smaller. She would not relent to this. Slowly, her head turned to look at the little acrobat, a cold, slitted stare greeting the fellow cat.
Baka seemed shocked at the agility of the cat at first, but in the end the headcrab caught his attention more than the feline. Cats he had seen enough of to last him a lifetime. This thing? Oh, he thought he'd just stroll up to it and bark for awhile.

There was a zombie outside the door - not just any zombie, though. "Sorry to bother you," she said, in a tone of deep resignation. "I - oh! Oh!"... Resignation gone. She pointed through the door at the puppies. "They're so cuuuute~ oh, and perfect for catching headcrabs!! Or, um, anything, really. Are they smart? Ooh ooz a smart widdle puppy then..." She seemed thoroughly entranced for a moment. "... Oh! Yes. Vance. Can you... could you help? I'll make it worth your while, spookies!"Quote: ARE THEY SMART?IDK, you tell me! Moira's headcrab Vance has somehow gotten into Mitsu's room and needs to be retrieved, which sounds like a job for... minipets?! Apparently so. Please roll the appropriate dice for your minis and RP the results until Vance is successfully found! (If possible, though, try and space your rolls so everyone gets a chance to try~ though if someone rolls a finding number early on, that's ok too XD just dice!) Cycorgis: Roll 1d100~ 1-20: The cycorgi runs around barking... at its own tail. Hmm. Apparently it is not too smart. 21-40: The cycorgi flies under the bed and roots around, but when you pull it out, it's got something in its mouth that definitely isn't a headcrab. Darn. 41-60: The cycorgi scents the ground, then starts running all around the room with its nose pressed tight to the floor! It must be on the trail, surely? 61-80: The cycorgi barks and leaps around, keeping its eyes focused on one particular spot! ... But when you look, there's nothing there? Or is there? 81-100: The cycorgi dives under (some piece of furniture, you pick what!) and a moment later the headcrab charges out, heading right for Moira! SUCCESS. Cat: Roll 1d100: 1-95: It's a cat. It does what it wants. 96-100: ... Eh. The headcrab just happened to be where the cat was going. You don't have to drop everything and take care of this RIGHT NOW OMG - there's no real time limit, just quote me when you've found the headcrab. C:

Oh, it was the custodian. At least Shun was sure of it. He had seen her once or twice around before after all. Nodding to her, he glanced over at his pup.
"Takamaru. Go find the headcrab," he ordered.
It seemed that he wasn't paying much attention to the feline antics going on within the room. As long as Ziggy wasn't attacking him, he didn't really care what she did with Riyo.
Taka tilted his head at the command, then let out a bark. Immediately, he began to sniff around, trying to see if he could pinpoint its location.
