Gaara112 Itachi, Kakashi, Rock Lee when he opens gates. um, lee opens like 4 gates((cant remember)) and still gets beat. Itachi Kakashi Naruto-sorda a draw Orochimaru Kabuto hate to say it but, lots of people could beat gaara, he's not the strongest ninja in the world. but he also kicks a lot of peoples asses.

I would say:
1. Itachi (Duh)
2. Naruto (being the main character, he has to be the strongest)
3. Kakashi (Sharingan eye)
4. Orichimaru (He's awesome!)
5. Zabuza/Haku (They are awesome too)
Definatly NOT:
1. Sakura (I don't even know why someone would think that...)
2. Lee (Gaara COULD have killed hem)
3. Sasuke (He hasn't mastered his power)
4. Almost ALL of the other Chunin. LOL
He's extremely strong for a Chunin, but not against some older ninjas.
(P.S. I haven't seen Kabuto fight...)

Okay, several people we alreayd know stand a chance becuase they have fought Gaara: Naruto, Lee (He got stronger since they fought, and almost won that time), Deidara, Kimimaro (He only died on a fluke, he would have killed Gaara in another second, sad as it may be T.T ), Sasuke (I hate to say it >.<)
People who probably could stand up to him: Haku is the only one I can think of. Yeah, he was killed by Kakashi, but he wasn't fighting him, we was just taking a hit for someone else. but with Haku's speed, he could stand his own against Gaara. But then again, Gaara's defense has been proven with withstand senbon attacks. I've actually roleplayed an encounter like this, it was a dead tie. Oh yeah, and Itachi. The Mangekyou would be a really strong attack on Gaara. I'm gonna do that in my fanfic ^^
Kakashi and Sakura and Tsunade have the strength to hold their own against Gaara, but not the speed.

crying gaara gets killed by some guy i can't remmber hid name at the
moment but the guy the episode that rock lee is drunk and gets
beat up gaara steps in and turns the ground to sand and covers the
guy that kills him and turns the sand to stone but later on he some
how gets out and helps in the killing of gaara its the one guy that can
use his bones as weapons

The hell are you talking about? The person who can use his bones as weapons and fought the drunken Lee was Kaguya Kimimaro, and he nearly killed Gaara, but died at the last second from a disease. The people who do kill Gaara after the time skip are the Akatsuki, pulling out the Ichibi while he was unconscious. He had been beated by Deidara because he used his sand to protect the village and left himself vulnerable. Still, he was brought back, so it's all cool ^^
