Harrison couldn't decide whether it was nice to have some prep time, or if Caelius was just trying to build anticipatory dread.

He tried not to think about it too hard. B0nez was ready to level on something besides shadow mobs, although a mission meant nothing too good. He threw on a t-shirt, laced up his boots, and had a hearty breakfast courtesy of the vending machines. With the bathroom in progress and the kitchen busted up, he felt...scruffy and underfed.

Stepping into a muggy, sweltering jungle magnified the feeling. It was like being back in the police locker room.

Should have worn bug spray.

The hole in the ground was, well. Holey.

If we came all the way here for more shadow guys, I'm messaging the admins, B0nez said.

I don't think it'll be that easy, Harrison thought. At least there was about a 0% chance of rotting, bug-filled couches.

Why Robert was smelling his sandalwood scented hair, he had no idea. Maybe he was tired of using lilac scented crap. He figured the bloke really needed to stay out of bath and body works more often.

Still his eyebrows managed to lower down to a more reasonable level as he continued to talk to Cass, the best not little sister ever. "Somehow, i bet he has a mural like that somewhere in his quarters." he mentioned offhand "Like, some kind of framed picture he would have up over a fireplace and the pelts of fallen creatures by his feet."

He did have to wonder after the current Robert smelling stuff epidemic, what kind of shampoo did Cael use. "What kind of hair products does that guy use anyway?"


This is what happens when they don't have a leader around, five minutes of talk around the mission, and twenty talking about the hair products that the superiors use.

A short, fairly buff man wandered into the area, his attention entirely focused on his cell phone. He was a swarthy looking guy, wearing jeans, no short, and a vest-like jacket with a moon emblem on it. "Oh baby, yeah...I ******** love it when she poses like that," he stared at his phone with a pleased grin which faded after a few moments, "...s**t I wish I could be there with her right now, instead of this ******** jungle, man. Like this Indiana Jones bullshit is supposed to be limited to the Death Eaters, I mean <******** bro."

Saya did not have the weary sense of danger that other hunters had the caution to sense. She coughed, the humidity of the cave stuck in her throat, several fingers pressing lightly against the base of her collarbone as she tried to cough.

A jungle .. Saya had never been in a jungle environment before. What she discovered was that it was humid, wet and a lot of trainees and hunters around.

"I'm okay with that, Cass. I don't like humid." She sighed, patting her hair down. It was going to frizz she just knew it. She'd gotten her mother's hair and all but she still had the unfortunate curse of turning into a frizzy ******** mess when it was too hot and humid. Fuuuuuck.

She heard Molly's voice and she perked up a bit, gasping with delight when she spotted the younger lady. Yes! All the Mists! All of them! Or well, more of them. "Hey, Molly~." She called out, grinning her way until she heard an unfamiliar voice approaching them. Candace turned on her heel, calming when she saw a Moon hunter just looking at his phone.

...What. "She..? Are you looking at porn in the middle of the jungle?" She tilted her head to one side, raising a brow. Wow. Wooooow. Sad, bro.

"Because because MISSION," she said, waving her arms around, as if that explained everything. She could sacrifice breakfast for missions, well, not that she actually had, considering Reine hadn't slept all night, and running those five training courses had made her pretty hungry, so she'd already eaten at about 6am, the question was, why hadn't Robert prepared in advance?! After all, Caelius had given them a whole day's notice.

"And stop ittt," Reine whined, "You're going to make me shorter, and--"

Her hand was up in front of her eyes before they took too much damage, thanks to quick reflexes and knowing Robert's habits. "Put that shirt on, for god's sake, or just mine, no one wants to see--"

.. Well, there he went, on the hunt for food again. She shrugged and followed him towards a girl she didn't recognise, at least he had his face pressed against her backpack, and not her front.

"Don't mind him, he's harmless, mostly."

At Robert's sudden roar Candace blinked and looked to see what 'this' was.



"Put a ********' shirt on."

A pause.

"You're going to kill Reine, you hairless gorilla."

Barney leered up at Robert, and then tossed a sneer Candace's way. "Here's something to make your day a whole lot better, bro." He handed his phone to the Life trainee, and went to help the Deathie, "Sandy, Sandy, Sandy...you just don't know how to appreciate beauty when you see it." He leaned down and with a grunt, lifted the box one-handed and set on his shoulder. "Where you want this, Dee?"

Robert, in the mean time would be treated to this delightful image on Barney's phone. In fact if he was nosy, he'd find entire folders full of cat pictures, and picture of cat-like minipets as well. All posing adorably for his delight.
