Hey so apparently messing with little baby hermit crabs WASN'T the best idea. Apparently baby hermit crabs had mother hermit crabs. Very angry, large hermit crabs that were poised to kill.
Who'd have known, right?
Danny's eyes went wide as the giant crabs suddenly attacked everyone's castle. Her hand dislodged from Rikki's, but it didn't matter much because he was already running off to save his own castle, at Edel's call. Blech. Edel.
Before she could even react, one of the crabs had already crushed the western wall of their little castle, dangerously close to Bea's leg. "GUYS THE CASTLE OH MY JACK AHHHHHH." Great assistance Danny.

And then, Gene's beach nap and tan (even though she can't tan) session was finished early due to crabs. Giant. Freaking. Crabs. Then again, their castle was humongous as well... WHY WAS EVERYTHING BIG?
Huffing in irritation, the ghoul pushed herself up off the sand, sarong already tied up like a whip. Interrupt her relaxation time, will you?
The sarong bit at the leg of the crab that had attacked their own masterpiece, but it didn't seem to phase it that much. Or, so she thought until a big pincer hit her in the face.
This meant war.

"What's happening?! Why are you guys yelling?!" Bea couldn't move her head or see anything behind her.
"AHHHHHHHH!" Bea screamed. She thought she felt something touch her leg until she strong pinch right at her calf.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!" Bea began to kick her legs, hoping she might try to hit it away from her and the castle. (without destroying it herself)

Well she couldn't let them have all the fun! Danny started swatting at the crabs, but it didn't really do much. Their shells were so thick! Poor Bea ... I mean... the sandcastle was going to get crushed in a second!
A little pissed off, Danny lashed out with a fireball, kicking the crab at the same time. "HEY! STAY OFF 'A BEAAAA."

Gene couldn't agree with Danny more. Not only did this big nasty crap interrupt relaxation time, it was going to hurt Bea if it tore down their beautiful castle. Not cool, man, not cool at all.
Once again, she whipped out with her sarong, but missed sorely. The crab, however, was amazingly accurate with that big claw of his.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEE! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!" Bea's barnacle caked legs kicked the sand around her feet to try and get the crabs away from her.
Luckily, her kicks were just enough.

THE TIDE COMES IN AND...
Still cheering at the retreat of the crab, Gene was completely oblivious of the fact that she, and their poor castle, were about to get straight up pummeled. She was instead opting to hug Danny and jump around in an act of rejoicing. The crab was gone! No more crabs! They were crab free!
A sound like a massive vacuum cleaner from space cut the cheering short, and the ghoul's eyes were drawn to the source. It was a massive wall of water, about to crush everything.
It did it's job, and it did it well. The castle was hit, but not could still be salvaged. And Gene? The water actually seemed to refresh her, oddly enough.
"Ghouls! We gotta fix the castle!"

Were they gone? All Bea could hear was Gene cheering, so whatever it was, it must be gone!
Just then, a huge shadow came across the sand...
"Um... guys?" she said with a concerned voice.
SMASH!
Water was suddenly everywhere, hitting their sandcastle with hard water pressure! Seeing as her whole room is covered in water, it didn't bother Bea when the tide came in and smashed into her face. However, the tide managed to shift the sands around and it just became a complete mess all over her (castle included).
"MY FIIIIIIIIIIIIISH!" Bea cried out as she watched her pretty red fish get ripped out of her puddle and back into the vast waters of the ocean. That poor poor fish. It's gone now. Lost. FOREVER! Bea was planning to take it home with her if the ocean hadn't kidnapped the poor thing. Bea wept a bit and heard Gene telling them to start rebuilding.
"G-Got it!" Bea replied to Gene, still whimpering about her lost fish. She couldn't see where she was pushing the sand with her arms, but at least she knew she was packing it down onto the sandcastle.

Gene was a mite torn up about the fish too, but definitely not as much as Bea. Gene only valued the herring because it had staved off some crabs, but she knew the other ghoul was much more in tune with sea creatures. She'd make it up to her later, but for now? This castle needed reconstruction.
"Bea! Keep calm and Maljflkdhjlh-" The doppelganger tripped over a sand grain, and found herself face deep in the sand. Fortunately enough, her trip had sent some sand in just the right place. Jack was smiling on them today.

It was working! Though very little at a time, her rebuilding attempts were working! Gene was right though, if Bea moved around too much, it could potentially make their castle collapse. Then again... Bea really wanted someone to go after her fish. But at this time, the fish was long gone...
"I-I'll try..." she took a deep breath and continued to pack the sand down. Suddenly sand came down on her from Gene's general direction.

"Oh, sorry there hon..." Gene picked herself up off the ground, brushing sand off her body where she could. Though, some areas would be a bit...irritated for the time being. She'd just have to put up with that, really. A shower was a lovely thought, and it motivated her to put more effort into her thinking process of how to make the castle more stable.
Oh! "Bea, stay completely still." Gene got on her hands and knees and crawled to where the other ghost ghoul was buried. She began to pack sand around her teammate, who had become the main stability piece of the castle. If she was stable, then everything else would fall into place.
"Okay, now don't move a muscle. This should help it hold."

Once Bea had been taken care of, Gene began to work on the fancy stuff, like her tower. Unfortunately, due to stability issues, all she could make was the base of the tower. Their sand castle was beginning to look more like a sand bunker, to be honest.
"Hmph. Be that way then." The ghoul huffed, crossed her arms, and sat down with an upturned nose. Stupid sand.

While Bea and Gene were busy rebuilding the castle and actually doing things for the better of the group ... Danny's rper was busy at school Danny was whimpering like a little scareling. She couldn't HELP it that water scared the crap out of her! After all, if her tail got wet, their entire team was jacked. Not only would they get disqualified, Danny would be down for the count for about a week or two. She wouldn't even get to see the end results!
After a moment of convincing herself that she could TOTALLY DO THIS ... Danny continued to freak out.
Danny began shoveling as much dry sand as she could onto Bea- seriously, she was in adrenaline mode or something. She was just piling it on now. After she deemed that there was enough sand, Danny stood on top of her little safety pile, looking out at the rest of the sand on the beach. "Guyssss," she whimpered, "I can't do this. I really can't do this."

Gene gave Danny a look of confusion for a few seconds before it clicked in her head as to why Danny was scared of the water. Duh Gene, she was a Fire Demon. Fire plus water does not make for a good time, as anyone with a brain (and a few zombies without) could tell you. All you got was steam; useless steam. Wait, false, steam was good for steaming.
But! Steam was not good for Danny.
"Danny! You need to believe in yourself! You can do it! I believe in you Danny!" Gene took a moment to reflect on that. Waaaay to cliche and mainstream. New approach!
"Danny! If you don't finish this, I'll take my top off in front of Rikki!"
Psh, yeah right.
