Now that he could move a bit more freely, his options were kind of overwhelming. The whole castle was in danger! He ran a full circle around the thing before finally stopping and staring up at it, hands pressed over his mouth in agony. They weren't going to make it. This was not going to be good.
He shuffled some sand around and placed it strategically around the base of their structure. It looked more decorative than anything.
"I don't think I'm even helping..." he wailed melodramatically, looking out at the advancing tide.

Because there were tentacles. And he'd seen enough of those foreign human-themed movies to know where this was going.

WHAM. The massive tentacle hit the sand right next to Aymet, prompting him to make an instinctive slash and run for cover from the falling sand.

Of course, tentacles didn't really have faces, so he just gave the tentacle another punch in the wherever.
"Go away! If you know what's good for you! Because being here isn't." By Jack, he was the most terrifying thing in all of Halloween. Better get scared, tentacle. The tentacle didn't seem to be very scared, however, and plucked a bit of sand off of the top of their castle.

That made Thackery furious, because he'd built that particular part of the castle. He went flying towards the tentacle with every bit of strength he could muster, which seemed to do the trick this time. His fingers sunk into the fishy flesh and the tentacle only barely grazed their sandy structure.

He tried to sink his teeth into the tentacle, but it didn't respond well to that, flinging him into his own beautiful castle in retaliation. The last remaining tower went tumbling over, carrying Thackery with it, nearly burying him beneath an avalanche of large sandy stones.

Groaning, he pushed himself out of the pile of stones and flung his arm towards the tentacle, just barely connecting with one of its suckers. He was getting exhausted now, and while he wanted to defend the castle with ferocity...well, it was beginning to look like there wasn't much of a castle to defend.

He latched onto the tentacle again in a last ditch effort, kicking and flailing and hollering with everything he had left in him...only to be sent into the side of the castle again.
Things did not look good.
"Ash! Aymet! You've got to punch it super hard or we're never going to make it! Oh, Jack, I bet the throne room is just in shambles..."
He scrambled to see if there was anything left of the throne, leaving the fight to his teammates.
