Ser though for a second trying to remember earth in any real detail now. How long had it been since she came here? “Well most of it is a pavement jungle. And even though there are hundreds of thousands of people all livening close together everyone lives in their own little bubble.” She shook her head dislodging it from the images of earth. She beamed just happy not to be shooed away. It failed in comparison to the sheer amazement that took over her face when she saw the blackberry and flower. She pulled out one of the braids near her ear and quickly wove the flower into it the hair. She took the Black berries a little slower. Cupping them in one hand and plopping one into her mouth with the other. She gushed a little. “Wow their so good there the best barriers I’ve ever had.“ Ser stood open jawed as the stunning woman joined Glyph. There talking Ser sucked in a bit of a breath after realizing she had forgot too in a while. “Oh my God you’re purple. You two are so awesome!” She said over excitedly. “Best couple ever!” She claimed a bit noticing Xun was talking to her. “Sorry that was rude...” she said blushing. “Um yeah seems so though I haven’t been one long”

"They definitively do." And he was going to raid. it. all. Oh yes.
Hopefully his mother would soon be too busy to pay much attention to him, and his expression was michevious, impish even.
"Should we raid the cake first ?" It looked delicious. "I do not think I-"
Oh, wait ! "Actually, there's my cousin." With... Who was that ? Uh. "Adi ! Over here !" He waved in her direction."I look like a druid, apparently." Elik made a bit of a face at his aunt's turned back, but then smiled. "You'd think I knew how to behave by now."
Did he feel like it, through ? Hmmmmmmm.
"Someone ?" The bigger of the pair allowed himself to be dragged off by the smaller, oddly enough.

Akakios was a lucky young god that evening - his mother was clearly focused on things that weren't being a chaperone.
The bağlama was relocated to her lap, fingers dancing on the hilt of the expertly-crafted instrument. She was unsure if she would need it, but it was a comforting weight in her lap, if nothing else. Parts of her, it seemed, stubbornly remained locked in a more mortal-like way of thinking, probably thanks to her host's influence on her.
Well, it did not matter. She knew, from the voice, that people had started to gather. The words made their way to her keen hearing, but with so many gathered, they joined in mixed in a way that made it so that she couldn't make out the indivudual voices and words too well.
But, no matter.
She could take a break and mingle later. For now... It was time to entertain the guests, wasn't it ?
Her hands remained steady on her instrument, but did not move. Instead, the purple part of her wings pulsed. Once, twice. Mana gathered, then it spread, outward.
And the music started. Not from an instrument, no, but it was Music's own sound, amplified and spread out for all too hear and enjoy. The tune started light, gentle, less she startle the mortals too badly. It spread, with her as the center, to eventually cover the whole of the marketplace, easily audible and enjoyed by everyone, it's volume kept a constant no matter how far from the goddess one might be.
As far as Echo was concerned, the party had officially started.

Well, the young lady was clearly easily excitable... Perhaps she was of a more quickly grown race, and was actually younger than she looked ? Her excitement was sweet, but... awkward in it's own way. He hadn't expected a complete stranger to gush at them so outwardly.
"Well, my opinion is probably biased. But yes, we are." Xun Jiang winked, but before he could address being purple, or whom the young lady had taken upon her own self, something caught his attention.
A tune, sweet and lighthearted... "...That would be Music ?" He asked Glyph, clearly... Well, clearly not having expected that ! The goddess, looking ethereal and outworldly in her own way, still and yet full of motion.
He could only hope to one day be as full of wonder as the sight he saw now, and to see another having recovered their true nature made him hopeful. The only other he had known to have reached such a level was his brother.
"Maybe we should honor her and dance, before you eat all the sweets." He poked fun as his lover, but his eyes was full of longing and... well, love.

"Ummmm." Grace vocalised her thinking process as she looked at all the delicous food on offer. she only got to eat sweets that looked that good when they visited Echo. At the shout of his name she looked up. "Cousin?" Though if gods had brother, sisters and parents it stood to reason that they had cousins too. She smiled as she watched the girl hurry over towards them

"He's my cousin," she explained on the way, "Except not really. We call some of Rio's friends my aunts and uncles, so that makes Kios sort of my cousin."
Reaching Lament and his friend, Adi came to a stop, tail wagging in greeting. "Hey Kios! Who's your friend?" She waved a little at the other girl. "Hi!"
And since she'd asked about her cousin's friend, it was only fair to add, "This is my boyfriend, Elik."

"Pavement jungle..." Glyph echoed, not liking the sound of the place already - it sounded cramped and unhappy, "That's unfortunate...." He'd been about to continue more when Ser's expression absolutely grew amazaed and he chuckled.
"Not rude, at all," the mortal delighted Glyph with her childish antics and wide-eyed wonder. He glanced at Xun then up as Music let her influence spread over the gathering, smiling. The party had finally and properly begun it seemed. "Indeed, it is Music herself. I requested she be a guest of honour and grace us with her presence this evening.
At the invitation to dance, Glyph blinked and hesitated, looking around, "Me? A tree? I'll make a fool of myself..." He laughed, not really protesting as he offered his hand to Xun then turned to Ser, "This first dance is his but I would like one with you too if you'll allow it." He waited a moment for her reply then bowed and stepped away, the swaying, long strides he took evoking the ever-moving forests.
Stopping in the center, he stepped back and swept a formal night elf bow to honour Xun and then smiled to Echo, "A dance for you m'lady." As the first few people stepped in join the floor, he and Xun towered over most of the mortals and it made Glyph chuckle that he stood out like a sore thumb - that was how it should be. Taking Xun in his arms, he swung them into the first steps of a simple festive dance he'd cobbled from the memories of his host, dance did not seem to be something the Aurion had known much about, sadly.

"Ah..." Really. Adi's family tree was getting weirder and weirder the more he learned of it. It was good that the gods seemed accepting of her, at least - daughter of one of their own, but not a deity herself.
"Pleased to meet you both." This god... seemed strange. Why did he have ashes on his arms ?"Yes. Echo is good friends with her godly parent, and we've been raised to see each other as cousins." Which he seemed to have no problem with.
"This is Grace, she is a good friend of mine." He said with a fond smile. "We were about to go raid the desserts before everyone else got it all, are you coming ?"
Stupid question, really !

Grace smiled at the couple as they drew closer to them. "Hi." she said, giving a small wave. They were both mortals like her perhaps? "The desserts do look amazing." She was very much in support of Kios's plan. Sweets, then maybe some dancing if everyone else wanted to dance.

He had been introduced to the concept of handshakes, but Aska had been raised in a world that was culturally quite different. He smiled at Whisteria, took her hand in his, then brushed his lips over her knuckles. "It's a pleasure, Miss Whisteria," he said. "I must say I haven't seen a woman like you before. Are you from around here?" It wasn't strictly true. The Dragon King he'd met wasn't far away, standing by what looked like a living tree, but still, Whisteria did look very different. He didn't think he was telling too great a falsehood.

Well, she certainly had not expected that! Her cheeks flushed a little and silver eyes went wide. Most men were not so polite, she was too used to being 'one of the guys'. "Ah, no, I'm not from this world at all actually. I've only been here two days."
She regained her composure when the music started. "Care to dance Aska, or is that not your type of thing?"

"It's not so much my type of thing," he said, giving a somewhat discomfited look in the general direction of the music. "But for a pretty lady, why not." He offered her both hands, smiling. He wasn't familiar with the style of music, but he knew there wasn't much to dancing of most styles--unless you were a Psion, in which case there were thirty variations of each of the thirty varieties of dance styles. He'd been Muted, but had learned a few from his employers... he might be able to salvage it.

Whisteria tugged him gently toward an open space on what had become the dance floor. "I'll let you lead, probably safer that way." That and there was hopefully less chance of stepping on his feet or doing anything else equally embarrassing. One hand found its way to his shoulder while she kept the other in his hand. That was the way it was supposed to go, right?
"I take it you live around here, then?"

Aska winced a little at the idea of leading, but, well--in all honestly, he was more comfortable that way. And no one said they had to do anything more complex than the basic shuffle-in-a-square-to-the-tempo-of-the-music dance. Later he might be more confident, but for right now... "For the last couple of years," he said, setting his hand at her waist. "Um... Less than an hour's walk, really, it's quite easy." He considered, and then he asked, "Where are you from? Is it nearby, as well?"

Oh good! She had been right then and thankfully he was easy enough to follow. The conversation helped, letting her focus on something else so she didn't mess up the rhythm of their movements.
"I haven't found place to stay yet, so l've just been camping in the forest near here." Sort of, anyway, assuming sleeping as a stormcrow in a tree counted as camping. It was nice to sleep under the stars and get to enjoy them after they had been gone so long.
