"Thank you, Midas. Take care of her, will ya? If they were indeed the Darkmore clan, then they may attempt again. They are bold to say the least, and stubborn as well. The ywill not give up the fight so easily. Now, I'm going to attend to some further shielding for the Labyrinth, and make sure that the party is not interrupted." He kissed Erin, and looked into her eyes. "Don't worry, my love. We'll get through this, just like everything else, and I'll start thinking of some names, okay? Lest we call them Thing 1 and 2." He said it jokingly, remembering a mortal author of children's book he used to enjoy reading a few decades ago.

Jareth went over to his mother, and out of respect, gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. "I'm glad to see you are doing well, mother. But no, I am not here on Oberon's behalf. I am here on my wife's. She was just attacked in the mortal realm by the Darkmoore clan, but I'm sure you already knew that. What I want to know, Titania," He only used her name when he was a little upset with her, "is why they've been allowed to do this. Is Oberon losing control and power so easily? As stubborn and powerful as he is, you'd think he could keep a better control on the situation." He walked her over to a bench, and sat down with her, glad to actually see her after all this time.

She smiled returning the brief hug. The fact that he used her name made her smile lightly though would remain her composure at his accusations. She would move to sit with him and simply look to him. "You know better then to call me by name Jareth. And your father has not lost his touch. Far from it. Aside from that the Darkmoore clan is not in our control. As I am sure you are well aware there is a war going on. With that particular clan, are you truly surprised they went after your mortal queen? You make it sound as if he has control over those he is at war with." She sighed lightly before standing and motioning him to take her arm as she would walk about the courtyard with him. "My son, you speak as if you believed him to be interested in what you are doing in your life. Your father, as much as I love him, does not get along with you so well. I'm sure you've known this. We cannot be answerable to what the other houses are doing during this war. As someone who's made it clear they wish no part, even you must know that with, especially that clan, that it was only a matter of time before the houses knew you chose a mortal over one of your own. And growing up I'm sure you are also well aware of how immortals view this. Even your father did not agree to such an arrangement my dear son." She would smile slightly after a short silence. "I hear she is quite attractive for a mortal, how is she faring with these events? Have you discussed the world of immortals with her? Or have you kept her unknowing?" She wanted him to say what she had already known of his bride though wasn't sure he would. She would pause a moment more before turning to him holding his hands gently in her own. "You are my son, one of the first, so I will leave you with this, since I hear rumor of a ball soon coming. If you feel you need his help, you know you may ask, but as with everything it will come with a price. The true question is, will you be willing to pay those prices for his help?"
The days would go by with Jareth gone. She felt nauseous on and off with the children and nerves. She had managed to get her husbands travel plans from Slack, but if Jareth were worried enough to visit his family she knew following would only be foolish. She kept watch from one of the castle towers on and off during her times waiting for him to return home. She hated the hormones these children were firing at her. She hated feeling so needy and emotional. She had to apologize on a few occasions to the others at sudden outbursts of anger and tears. She knew this would only get worse till she got closer to the due date. Or so she read from what the doctor in the mortal realm had given her about it. She soon made her way back to Slack's room knocking and entering. "Slack? Are you sure he will be all right? I know you said so before, but.." She let it drop realizing she were being silly once more.

Jareth looked to Titania as she made mention of Oberon helping, but also pondered on what the 'price' would be. "I understand the situation, mother. And I appreciate your keeping Erin hidden. It means a lot to me that you still care after all this time. But as for Oberon, I'm not sure I will ever trust him again, or even want his help. Still, I will keep it in mind. But for now, I will bid you farewell, mother. Erin can be a bit... stubborn, and put herself in danger. Even when she is trying to help." He hugged his mother, and kissed her cheek. "Mother. Do you like Erin? I mean, I love her, and would never give her up. But I want your personal impression on her."
Slack turned to Erin, and patted her on the shoulders. "Don't worry about that fool. He's just as stubborn as you are, my lady, and that's actually a good thing. He's determined, and he loves you. Put those together, and he'll make it back. Even just for your sake." He handed Erin a cup of root beer, and smiled at her. "Here. Caffiene and sugar-free. Won't hurt the children either. I know how much you enjoy it as I do."

She chuckled a bit and shook her head. "And what my dear son has you thinking we were hiding her? Your father has made it quite clear he doesn't care too much either way." She smiled musing in her thoughts though it faltered only slightly as he asked her opinion of his wife. "I have no opinion of her as we have not had the pleasure of meeting yet. More since your father and I have not visited, nor have you and your bride." She kept her mind silent knowing she had indeed looked in through her own spies, not that the spies knew they were for her. She would sigh slightly patting his arm gently. "Well, if she as you say, best get back to her, or she'll come looking for you. And at the moment, harboring a mortal would not aid in his side of the war. Do not worry Jareth. I am very sure we will meet soon again." She would smile and give him the briefest of hug before shooing him on his way. She had her own plans to make and soon would turn towards the palace to see her oracle.
Erin nodded looking to Slack as he handed the cup to her. She took a sip but the children decided a few moments after to be active and sighed. "I'm not going to get used to all the moving inside." she gave a fake smile despite being happy she was pregnant. She shook her head wanting to ask questions but would limit them for now. "So, Jareth won't tell me or speak about it, Midas seems only willing to say so much, tell me, what is this war? And am I going to be the cause of it possibly coming here?" She didn't want to be used against Jareth, or be a reason for troubles. The last war she was in was more then enough unwanted attention.
