Landing, Yotta brought up his guard as per his normal instinct. He hadn't noticed Sasha was down for a few moments, concerned he may've hurt her, with how hard she'd hit, he dropped his guard. "You okay?" He didn't know that she was actually just heavy, given her nature, and that's why the sound of her landing was far louder than what he was used to hearing. He offered a gloved hand to help her up.

Had Sasha been mean-spirited or the type to fight dirty she might have taken advantage of Yotta’s courteousness and launched a counter strike as he offered to him. She, however, was neither of those. With a giggle, she waved off his offer, and replied, “Its ok, I’m fine, but thank you!” Smiling, she leaned back, her shoulders touching the floor, but with her head raised. She quickly brought her knees up to her chest and launched her feet out as she pushed off with her shoulders. Sasha landed, on her feet, in a crouched position, but quickly rose, her hands up defensively. “Ok, I’m ready!”

He smiled back, happy that she wasn't hurt or otherwise deterred from wanting to continue the match. As she got back up, he took a few steps to the side, aware of how she was planning on getting back to her feet. On lazy days, he and some of the others would try to find even more elaborate ways to get off the floor after being knocked down. Smirking, he got back in position and raised his defense once more. "Okie!" He stuck out is tongue in good fun and allowed Sasha to make the first move again.

In general, Sasha was a puncher; it would be obvious to anyone watching her, especially with her iron fist. Loosening her shoulders, she kept her fists up and tightened them, her eyes glancing toward her right fist, for a moment, and then returning to Yotta. Exhaling, she rotated her fist slightly, in anticipation. She then proceeded to launch a quick front kick with her rear foot.

Yotta was definitely expecting a punch, so when the kick came he barely had enough time to block. That being said, it was a poor block; t softened the blow, but he was still able to connect. The only reason he was even able to get the partial block in was because she'd kicked with her back leg. Yotta had to hop back a bit to keep his balance. Shaking his front arm he'd blocked with, to get the tingling out, he tried for a spin heel kick, aimed lower than what he normally went for. If it connected, it'd land about bicep-height.

Sasha pressed the attack. She still had her left arm up, to block Yotta’s spin heel kick. It wouldn’t be the best block, but she was confident that her stony arm was up to the challenge, even if she might be a bit sore afterwards. Having stepped forward with her kick, she launched the fist she had been previously eyeing at Yotta, hoping his corresponding arm was somewhat slowed, after having blocked her kick.

His foot was brought back down after not doing much to the blocking stone arm of Sasha. His blocking arm, that was still tingling, caught the full brunt of her next punch. He winced as it connected, but didn't let it phase him as he launched a front kick to try and get Sasha out of punching distance.

Sasha was just about to launch another punch, to follow up her first, when she caught sight of Yotta’s kick. She once again tried to grab for it, like the last time he had launched a front kick, but, this time, she was a bit too slow. She wouldn’t be able to scoop up his leg before he connected.

He brought his leg back quickly, right after he managed to connect. Without putting his leg down, he snapped his leg back around, trying for a round kick to Sasha's mid-side.

Sasha winced slightly as his first blow connected; she wasn’t going to let the next kick connect, at least not at her side. Her hand formed into a fist, she attempted to hammer fist his leg as it rushed to connect.

He saw the blow coming, but couldn't pull away fast enough. The strike connected with Yotta's knee and he immediately winced. When his brought it back down and tried to put weight on it, he stumbled a little.
"Time out," Brutus bellowed, swiftly rising from the mat and walking over to the two.
"I'm okay, really," Yotta lied as best he could.
Brutus gave him a hard stare before replying, "Lemme see your leg."
The Meowth boy groaned, more out of having to go through with this rather than the pain in his leg. He moved so that Brutus could see the injury better and winced again as it was being inspected.
"You'll be okay-"
"See?!"
"BUT," Brutus began again after being cut off, "No more sparring for today."
Yotta whined and fell on his back in a controlled fall, "But I'm fiiiiiiinnnnnneeee..."
The large human shook his head and couldn't help but chuckle. "Your enthusiasm, as always, is commendable, Yotta. But, I don't want you to run the risk or seriously hurting your knee. Those joints are some of the hardest to repair, even for you."

As Brutus walked over, the concern was evident on Sasha’s face. Yeah they were engaged in an epic battle, but she didn’t want to actually hurt him. During Yotta’s inspection, she remained completely quiet.
Sensing that the battle has reached its conclusion, Lexi popped up and floated over to Sasha.
After Brutus made his declaration, Sasha turned to Yotta. “I’m sorry; I didn’t mean to really hurt you.”
Pulling her legs up into a mid-air kneel, Lexi, who could sense Yotta’s emotions and state of mind much better then Sasha, stated, “Don’t worry, he’ll be fine. He is a tough Meowth.”
The concern she felt somewhat lessened, she was well aware of Lexi's abilities after all, Sasha added, “You really got me good with that flying, front kick!”

Plopping on the mat, Yotta smiled. "Psh, yeah, I'm fiiiiiine!" Yotta waved a hand at Sasha's concern, paying it no heed.
Brutus moved off to let the kids talk in relative private. He busied himself with moving various implements around the sparring room a ways off.
"Ya know, yer pretty good too!" He smiled genuinely. "I don' think I've ever fought anyone as good as you that hadn't had... like... real trainin'. Ya know?"

“Thanks!” Sasha replied, “Well I do practice by myself; I just haven’t ever been to a place like this before or sparred with anyone. I’ve only been in regular Pokémon battles before this. But that counts some, right?”
“And I help you sometimes,” Lexi added.
“True, but I wouldn’t really call that sparring… It’s more like regular exercise; you just dodge everything.”
“Well it does help that I can float…don’t have to worry about tripping over my feet,” Lexi replied with a grin.Turning to Yotta, Lexi asked, “So how long have you been training here?”

"I don' see why they wouldn't count." He nodded to Sasha's comment about Pokemon battles.
"Me? Oh, all my life!" Yotta directed his attention to Lexi. "I was born here." His smile didn't fade as he spoke.
