Rikka's ears perked backwards as she picked up her pace, wanting to head foreward and find this guy. the anticipation was getting te best of her."so Dustyanta how close do you suppose we are to this guy?" her eyes glanced over at the male. her metal paw hitting the ground as it hit the ground.

Well that may have been the first time that she actually used my name. Dustyanta had to smile to himself. “I don’t know. I’ve followed him this far so it matters little to me for a few more steps or a few mountains.” The scenery around them had changed Dustyanta was now charging through a forest path. He could smell burnt grass and new that the flame wielder had walked this path before he and Rikka did.
 Radu shook his head as he starred at the source of his small joy and enormous misery. “No. It’s not that I’m disappointed. I never visit because I never think of it. What do you want from me?” He snarled at the smaller fox not surprised at her personality but still hating it. He grumbled and used his flames to cook the fish she had at least been thoughtful enough to bring him. Honestly her father was nothing but a pain. “Well you are the only one who visits and you never stay for long or come often what am I supposed to think? I know that you didn’t want me or my sibling, who by the way I have yet to really have a conversation with. I want nothing from you but some honesty and some time. ” Shaking her head Fai started at her father as he gobbled up the fish she had caught for him.

Rikka could smell fire, the smell of burning sulpher and fur. "hey were close, I can smell a strong level of flame." she quickened her pace. trying to catch up before the target got away."dustyanta move it, were close!" she groweled charging foreward.

Feeling the thrill of the hunt coursing through him Dustyanta moved forward at his top speed and soon burst through some undercover into an open field area right by a large lake. The flame wielder and another fox both turned and looked at him clearly shocked.
Oh f---. Radu recognized that brown fox as the reason his peace was disrupted before. He growled low in his throat at the male and soon saw another fox pop out beside him. More worms from the woodwork. He let his flames spread out at his feet and stood up to his full height only to be surprised further when his daughter crossed in front of him apparently unphased by any of this. Little brat that she was.
“….” Fai proceeded to sit down in front of her father and stare at the two foxes that dared to intrude on her home. “……” One of her ears twitched and she continued to glare at them clearly waiting for an explanation.

Rikka stopped when the daeva turned to face them. looking the odd normal in the eyes Rikka did not say much, except."about time we caught up to you."here gaze drifted from the 2 blue foxes,then moved to dustyanta"ok dustyanta do what you need to."

Nodding Dustyanta stepped forward quickly only to find that the finned blue fox moved in his way every time he went to move. He cleared his throat and looked to the female. “I mean him no harm. You see I know his heart is hurt, the first step to moving forward is to talk. That is all I want. To talk and help heal.”
Well what do you know his little spawnling was good for something. These two would be no threat to her. Radu did take some pride in what this child could do. Launching himself straight up Radu kept flapping and simply left them all behind. That stupid male wished him to talk of Lyrica who was gone? NO! Radu’s mind filled with pain and rage at the thought. He just kept flying straight up soon the foxes below couldn’t even be seen. He kept flapping further until it was heard to breathe before he changed direction to go elsewhere.
Fai felt the draft as her father took off behind her. She ignored it and continued to stare at the male in front of her. She didn’t say a word and blinked very slowly. She really wanted to play with these two. She doubted that the male would attack. He seemed the peaceable weak type.

Rikka saw the male had fled."Damn it! he got away!" she groweled glaring at the female."hey what gives you let him get away...." cursing under her breath. she grumbled and turned the other way." she stamped her foot in frustration then sighed looking at dustyanta"now what?"

Looking from Rikka to the strange female that was staring at them he kept calm. “Rikka simply because he got away now doesn’t mean we can’t find him later. After all he came here to find this fox did he not? Look in the burned patch there is a dead fish. Clearly he didn’t just wander in by accident he knew this place.” Looking back to the finned fox he kept his face passive. “Isn’t that right? Could you tell us why you just held us back so he could escape?”
Oh the male was sharper than he looked. The female was feisty though. This could be fun if they were a couple than this would be a fun way to annoy the girl right off the back. Leaning forward she kissed the brown male and then leaned back mentally satisfied with the look of shock on his face. She then calmly turned and walked to the edge of the water before turning back and staring at them.

Rikkas eyes shot open. that woman kissed dustyanta? what the heck? what did she care? She didnt. then why was her lip quivering and her legs shaking. she felt like a bear was taking refuge in her spirit struggling to break free. she remembered this feeling. oh yeah she remembered it well."Im not gonna let this happen again."
Rikka remembered being so small for such a long time, developing a crush on a male, only to have him grow and move on to some other girl while the deities cursed her with a prolonged kithood. Her legs trembling Rikka ran at the female."You leave Him alone hes mine!!!"

Her what? Dustyanta was confused but he did understand one thing if Rikka attacked the strange fox then they might just lose their only lead to the flame wielder. “RIKKA!” Dustyanta ignored the finned fox and instead tackled Rikka. He used his weight to try and pin her down while he wormed a paw under her jaw and around her throat to hold her in place without hurting her. “Enough!” He placed his head atop of hers and pressed down on her hair and soft softly but firmly. “Enough Rikka. She doesn’t have me or anything like that. I’m here and I’m not going anywhere. ” He moved his head back an forth in a strange petting motion to try and calm her down. Why had she just snapped like that?
Huh. Well that was a bit more amusing than she had anticipated. Fai had expected them both to come at her. Why had the male stopped the metal fox? She laughed aloud. “Pity.” She had been hoping to lure them both the edge of the water where she had the advantage. Still the was interesting. She looked at the pair. If they were any closer in that position they would be having kits. She smiled and sat down ready to launch herself into the water if the female wasn’t stopped by the bat marked male.

Rikka fell to the ground when Dustyanta tackled her. She started to growl until he began to pet her. her eyes began to water a bit. was he trying to comfort her."But, she just kissed you like that." she let her muscles relax, shooting the finned female a glare before sighing and resting her head on his paw.

“Yes she kissed me, I didn’t kiss her.” He kept petting even though she was relaxing. Then he shifted his weight so that he wouldn’t crush her. “She I’m not hurt and I’m not going anywhere. It’s ok.” He looked up at the finned fox. He wasn’t sure he should start talking to her so soon after Rikka’s reaction to the kiss, but he wanted some answers. “Now then. Miss.” He gave her that title with clear hesitancy. “Would you be kind enough to at least tell us why you let the flame wielder flee?”
Flame wielder? Oh her father of course. What an interesting turn of phrase. She would remember it well. “and why should I tell you?” it was the most she had said this entire time and the most she wanted to say to this dou of foxes. The female annoyed her and the male was a fool.

Rikka looked up at the male her eyes slightly watered. why was she acting this way? when he asked the finned girl where the daeva went her reaction gave her a larger amount of frustration."hey! we ca,e a long way to tlk to him the least you could do is give us a lead."

Still holding on to Rikka, Dustyanta slowly disentangled himself from the vixen, but stayed close enough to touch her should she start to break again. He wasn’t quite sure what was wrong with her, but he didn’t think that she was dangerous right now. He kept his eyes on the finned fox. “Would you let him continue to suffer? Is your heart that cold that you don’t see his pain?”
Her tail twitched in annoyance at the other fox’s words. “I owe you nothing, just as I owe my father nothing. Chase him all you want, but words as shallow as yours will never reach him.” Loathing filled her for the foxes before her. They had each other. What did her father have? Nothing. What did he give her, his own child? Nothing. What did she have? Well the rhetorical questions only annoyed Fai more.

Rikka sighed before standing up and turning to leave. "okay its obvious that shes not gonna help us...so how about we just get moving. we'll need to keep moving if were gonna catch this guy. and i have a feeling he wont be back as long as were here" she let her ears fall lower.
