"Oh, do not worry about my stress level, for if I have my way, Onyx will be ruling beside me. I will toss public manners on her while I will deal with the business of it all." She gave Onyx a sharp smile. Since Onyx was victor is was a great way to rope the woman back in and keep her in check. Idle minds were the devils playground. She would not be stressed out, especially since she now her children back.....
Isabella frowned....children? She had thought children not child....She looked off to one side, concentrating on that idea. She groaned when another came to mind. So there was another. She looked at Onyx suspiciously.
"You know that will only show that you want to get rid of the throne, like you were planning to do in the first place. You know very well that the council will not see me being instated as a good thing. Plus, I was not the only victor." She said evenly as she watched Kai. Curious, he seemed different. She mentally went over all her information. Hmmm, perhaps there is something missing, especially since he always referred to current time. But as the theory of no memories came to mind, it was shot down by the fact Kamui was currently with Kitty,

"Is Onyx in charge such a great idea as well?" Kai asked innocently. "I really dont mean any disrespect I swear, but you always seem to be caught up in rather emotional problems. And you seem to think rather rashly" Kai pointed out softly. Kai watched Isabella as she eyed Onyx. His eyes glazed over at the thought in the womans mind. "Children?" he repeated softly. Groaning he leaned back in his chair. He laughed softly. "Onyx... you should know better than most... Kamui is smarter than me. He actually did his homework, I tried to give up. I didnt think I could have my old life back, I didnt know if I would want it back" he looked over to Isabella. "I knew I was a slave before I somehow managed to become your lifemate. I know Ive got a sister and she was a slave... And somehow in all that Ive got a half brother who was King! It makes no sense! And I didnt want to make sense of it... But Kamui... he obsessed over it! Always reading history books trying to piece everything together. He found the long lost sister, sort of kept in contact with her, but she seemed to not want to be bothered with him... To be honest I dont think he even told her Ive been around" Kai tried to explain.

"See he agrees with me not having power. I am not a person who likes political power. I have enough pure power, I don't need anymore. Plus, I am more of a get out and be with people then worrying about numbers" She said with a smirk
"Yes, I know that very well Onyx. You are an emotional creature, blah blah blah. But do you think you could run wild like before? You know well enough that I cannot allow it. I did for the last 300 years because people believed you to be a myth, now that you are back, either you are with me or against me." In one country it was always a political move to force Onyx to be on her side, because who knew what could happen should the woman be free to do whatever. That obviously didn't work before.
"Kai... Kamui has always been obsessive in his desires. And I agree, it is best that you remain....blissfully unaware. That way you get the clean slate you have always wanted. The chance to actually grow without all the darkness, bitterness from self sacrifice and the reputation of being a cad." She said amused. She actually was glad that Kai remember very little. The man had always desired a clean slate, a chance to just be happy. The past would take that away from him. Even if she didn't like the man in the past, she desired happiness for him.
"Ugh, that means Kamui maybe an issue if he was obsessive with information.Yes, children....twins to be precise.....though Aryeh is here, she is not. It...perhaps is best your sister doesn't know you are around...at least not yet. She will either come to us or the truth will get out, one way or another. " She said evenly as she watched Kane and Aryeh walk off to go get something to eat. She smile softly, glad to have her family back....even if it was in pieces right now. The woman had worked hard to become friends and family for the children. Before Micheal, things had been...okay..

Kai nodded to Onyx as she spoke but a smirk washed over his face. "Well the reputation seems to have stuck" he said with a small laugh. As the kids left the room Kai stood. "Why would he be a problem?" he asked as he watched to see the boys got out of the room. Once they were out he gently shut the door and look to Onyx. "The reputation has severely stuck actually..." Kai nerviously ran his fingers through his hair. "Someone a girl recignized me on the street one day, a vampire...Risa?" he glanced to each of the women. "Yeah... So Ive kind of had to pay her off to keep quiet about me, but thankfully that means I still own property and I make a bit of money to run the orphanage"

Isabella shot Onyx a strange look when Kai said Risa's name. That was very strange. How did that happen, she wondered, keeping her mind on the present and not straying to the past about who Risa actually was. That was the last thing she wanted to give to Kai. She watched him and shook her head.
"She must have been one of the lone stragglers then because Onyx....talked to all your acquaintances once upon a time.
"Be calm Kai. I am merely teasing you. Both you and Kamui will be given a clean slate. How else do you expect us to explain to the country why you were hiding out in the capital city. Amnesia will be the story Isabella will likely spin. That the chaos reawakened some but not all of your memories. That will give you and Kamui room to do as you please. Gain new lives, reputations, business. Whatever you both chose to do, Isabella and I will see to it." She looked to Isabella, who nodded in agreement. These were once their husbands. Their bondmates and fathers of their children, they would move heaven and earth to keep them happy and safe.
"Kamui would be an issue because if he decides he wants power again, there is 300 years of political issues as well and new power players who have come about. It would be more like throwing a guppy in with a tank of sharks. The game has change and the Koya name has been more a word of reverence. Something other people aspire to be." 'And I don't want to have him seen as a threat and threatened. She finished mentally. She wanted to keep them safe, even if they would likely struggle against them trying to protect them

Kai sighed as he rubbed his face. "I know of my acquaintances from long ago..." Kai looked sad as he spoke. "Well not all of them you know, but of some them. The ones that say they would stick with me through anything. Did you know they still paid rent the whole time I was gone? Put that s**t in a huge safe... Do you know how much rent accumulates over 300 years? Its madness" Kai laughed softly trying to lighten the mood but something stuck in his mind. He thought about what Isabella said for a moment. "So wouldnt you want that on your side? I mean if its something to aspire to be having something or someone like that on your side seems to be rather beneficial. He wouldnt need to be in public view untill the game has been caught up, but hidden from most I think he could be usefull" Kai mused softly. Then he sighed deeply. "Do either of you... Do you remember a girl named Ai?" he asked as he leaned against the wall.

"I welcome him with open arms if he wants to rejoin the game of politics. We won't stand in his way, I just don't want him to A-Drown in the political game of today and B-become a target. I dealt with one incident when that happened, I don't want to deal with another one, thank you. She said, ignoring the whole whore house thing. She let him do whatever he wanted to do. She raised a brow at the whole Ai comment. She fell silent for a moment.
"It rings a bell, but draws no images. Why?" She said with a shrug, not really sure exactly where he was going with that. She remember many things, but Ai only rang a bell in her mind.

Kai nodded, "And I only want the same for you princess" he said with a small laugh. "I just know I wouldnt be of much use to you now... Was I before?" Kai's eyes looked sad as he asked. He rarely felt usefull anymore and it broke his heart. Kai looked over to Onyx and shrugged. "Same here... But Risa said she has been stopping in and looking for me. I guess I just wanted to know the people that have been looking for me"

"You were very much a use to me. More then you will ever now." she said with a shrug, she never understood why he never felt like he was useful. She figured she never would, since he still felt that way. She wasn't sure how he could blame himself for not being useful when he hadn't been around for so long. Can't judge something when someone wasn't around.
"Goody. I expect there will be plenty of people coming out of the wood works now. But I will make sure that if they have nothing....useful to contribute then I will make them useful I have plants that need good fertalizer." She said icily. She really didn't like the idea of anyone coming out the harass or bother the brothers. She cracked her knuckles with a smirk

Kai only nodded to both women. He began to slowly chew is thumb nail. Then he stopped and sighed. "So what to do?" he asked with a small laugh. "Im getting anxiety just hanging around here... Im restless I cant help it" he said still laughing. Kai looked to Isabella and smiled. Should we find him? he asked telepathically.

'Sure, I am all for finding him, should Onyx tag along...I feel she may have already found him though' She replied as she watched Onyx close her eyes and relax into the chair. She ran her fingers through her hair and sighed softly.

"Well then, Ive got to make a call" Kai said with a small smile as he pushed himself off of the wall. He looked over to Onyx. "Did you want to talk to him?" he asked easily. "I mean Im sure if you wanted anything back he would be all for it, but I dont know your feelings on this or where you stand in anything. So if you dont want to see him or speak to him its understandable" he gave the woman a small smile. "I know some s**t has happened before when he entered your life. I guess you just have to weigh out if it was worth it or not..." he added before pulling out his cell phone and heading for the door. Once outside Kai flipped open the phone and dialed his brothers number.

"Kai, I destroyed three continents and made one in order to make finding him easier. He is more then worth it to me. Plus, I like Isabella mate for life. While that means nothing to you vampires, it means everything to me." She said in a simple tone. She was more then willing to talk to him, but she knew a lot of time had passed for him. He was different and would likely want different things now that he had a book view of everything.
"Kai.....when we see him....try to remain calm....Isabella will feed off you and thing could turn ugly if you don't remain...calm and unjudging." She said peeking one eye open to look at the man.

Kai raised a brow at Onyx's comments. "Im not really sure what you mean... Either of you" Kai said with a small laugh into the phone. He turned from Onyx. "Hey good to hear your ok though man" he said into the phone with a sigh of relife. "Hey we are all at..." He looked back to the girls in the kitchen. "Isabella's? I think... I dont really know but s**t went down, I got my lady back" Kai winked at Isabella with a grin. "And we wanted to make sure you were ok and we were going to get you if thats cool?"

Isabella rolled her eyes playfully when he said that he got his lady back. He was always an amusing character whenever the situation was serious. She looked at Onyx, kinda understanding what she said but at the same time still confused.
Onyx hummed and shrugged, figuring he would get it eventually should they actually head off to go get Kamui from his sister's bar. It was going to be a very...intense and interesting experience to say the least. Drama was bound to happen.
