Intent: Mate plot My fox: Vapi Your fox: Taranis Plot ideas: So Taranis is a difficult butt to find someone for cause of his personality. He's pretty hot-tempered and doesn't like anyone because he's convinced deep down they're judging him for his physical differences, even if they aren't. He avoids all forms of company as best he can, is grumpy, and uses sarcasm as his default language. He doesn't like other mutated foxes either, cause he still thinks they compare and judge. Only three foxes can make him be civil; his parents (just barely!) and his sister (who is the only fox he's actually nice to).
I'm trying to figure out what personality type would work best with him. I tried him with Nasai's Pherein, and there was no natural click. So I figured the next personality type to try would be someone sweet and with energy to them. I'm kinda working with a vauge, "I find you interesting and shall follow you and generally socialize with you even though you think I'm a pest, but unbeknownst to you I start kinda rubbing off on you until one day self-realization catches up and you take a moment for your epiphany. Small amounts of improvement in the relationship commence, then at some point, with or without a catalyst of some sort, another moment of self-realization hits, singular or mutual, and we start calling this love, even if you complain that Cupid is a cheating sniper."
XD Obviously Vapi would be the first-person POV in that ramble and Taranis is the "you". That's the general plot line I'm wanting to attempt to see if it catches Taranis' interest. If it (and he) catches your interest, we'd probably do a back-and-forth to fill in details to see if it could work out. I have no clue if it will, cause as I stated before Taranis is a difficult butt and doesn't always go along with my ideas > ->

And cause I was reading some of the plots, yup, Edward does have a family line. Granted he's only got three kids himself, but he's got a ton of nieces and nephews. Thanks to Aquila and Skype, mostly, but some from Vartan; his brother-in-law, Vartan's mate, is actually Thea's kid, which relates him to Conny and Rickrack (and through Rickrack's mate, Lee, the Ari line), and all their descendants. Which is a lot of Julie foxes, if you think about it XD All of those ties are through matings rather than actual blood ties, of course, but if I wasn't shutting my fingers up now I could list all of his blood relatives for you.
You'd also be tying the Nato line into the Ookami line. Fun fact, Varinka's Great Aunt Tsuki has children fathered by Osmium's Uncle Chronos.
Your plot does spark my interest. Vapi is easily the character to follow Taranis around so I would like to attempt this. I feel like she would follow him around, even if he tried to ditch her somewhere, in attempts to find something that would make him happy or smile. She hates to see foxes unhappy and would probably try everything she could think of from flowers, to pranks, to trying to tickle him in his sleep to get him to smile just once. Buuut, Vapi does get her feelings easily hurt (though she gets over it quickly, almost like it never happened) and has developed a habit of speaking rather bluntly.
And thank you for all the family information. I knew that pairing would merge a lot of trees. Why are the trees getting so expanded? D: I swear. We're only two breedings away from every fox being some how related to every other fox. ><

I have Mystic in two other rps trying to find her a mate, but neither of them have gotten very far yet so we could try her out with Perfume and see how that goes. Perfume X Mystic - Oh, most definitely on the part of crackbreeding! And I wouldn't want to make your other RP partners feel like I'm moving in on their turf - especially since I've been gone for so long...

And I'm torn between Shroka and Eirian for Marie since they both already have crackbred previously (Though I'm not sure if Eirian's counted since I can't find her and Hirame's spawn anywhere other than my PMs and my Journal)! On the one hand, the babies with him and Shroka would be pretty and purple and have her markings (which I would love!) But with Eirian, you'd get sunset rainbow babies! And since Shroka and Eirian are mother and daughter, it'd be really weird if they crackbred with the same guy!

Well as far as speaking bluntly goes, Taranis is miffy with others no matter what their mannerisms, so that's fine. He might end up hurting her feelings a couple times, since that's just what he does, but as long as she can bounce back quickly I think with a good plot we'd be able to overcome it. So, plot details... What kinda of lifestyle does Vapi generally lead, as far as traveling, preferred areas to be found in, people she's close to, etc.?
And tell me 'bout it > -> I think the major lines are Ari, Rina, Nato, Ookami, and Yush's six sibs. I mean there are other lines with lots of kids, but those are the ones with the most generations spawned forth.

*chews on* Yup, her name is Dysis. I'm totally still interested. I thought the plot idea was kinda funny, and we never got very far. I just didn't want to pester you cause I know a stressed out and busy muse isn't one that can be made to write upon command. If you want to keep roleplaying them to see what pops up, I'm down with it. Just thought I'd poke you and let you know :3

Vapi loves meadows, mainly for all the wild flowers, and streams. She's close to her Papa, Romi and was close to her sister but they've grown apart recently. She doesn't move around too often normally - only when in danger or following someone.

MATE PLOTS
I need to know if all of you still want to mate these foxes with me! Let me know and I'll throw them in the life mating thread and quote you.
Okay, here's a quick bit I wrote of their first meeting. Let me know what you think and if you like it or if there's bits you want to change. I actually do have a second meeting in mind, but wanted to get this one smoothed out before I wrote any of it down.
Vapi and Taranis first meet in a giant field of flowers. Taranis moves around a bit since he isn't really settled anywhere; mostly he likes to stick close to his sister so he can look after her. He's been walking alongside a brook for a few day now, and suddenly the forest opened up and he finds himself blinking as sunlight pours down into a huge meadow carpeted in fragrant grass and flowers. He walks slowly into the meadow, taking in the natural beauty and wonder of the place. Several yards into the clearing he stops to admire the flowers, leaning forward to sniff and delicately brushing them with his paw with a soft little smile on his face.
Vapi is in the meadow simply enjoying the day. She spots Taranis enter the clearing, but he doesn't see her because the sun was in his eyes. She pauses to curiously watch him, both because he looks a little different and to see what he does. When she sees him smile and appreciate the flowers she figures he can't be all that bad a guy and bounds over to chat.
Movement catches Taranis' eye and he stiffens as a previously unnoticed female comes bounding forward with a smile. He tries to ignore her, figuring she'll quickly get bored or annoyed and leave him alone.
Vapi notices the male's smile and demeanor change when she approaches, but maybe the male is just shy. He won't look at her, or respond to any of her questions or greetings. Rather than being deterred, Vapi remembers the gentle smile the male wore when looking at the flowers and tries to see if she can bring that back somehow. She keeps talking to him or pointing things out that she thinks might cheer him up and get him to open up a little.
No matter how much Taranis tries to ignore the female she keeps talking to him. Even when he starts trying to wander around as a form of blatant ignoring she goes with him and keeps chatting. He starts getting worked up about it. The female is everything he hates because she's everything he envies. Normal, cheerful, pretty. The kind of girl who could go up and chat with anyone and they'd adore her. She'd never had to put up with looks of revulsion, or being called a freak. Wouldn't have to have someone look at her like they couldn't wait to get away because they saw spiders crawling over her or touched her and discovered her skin and hair melted into a black goo. He gets himself so worked up about the whole thing that his temper finally just explodes and he yells, "Why the hell are you still following me?!" at the female.
Vapi was in the middle of telling a story about running around in flower fields as a kit when the male suddenly shouts at her. Quite startled, she doesn't really think of her answer so much as blurt out the instant trust, "I just wanted to see you smile again."
Taranis is a little taken aback by the answer. It wasn't what he expected, but just from her expression and how quickly she answered he's sure she's not lying to him. He stares at her for a bit, then just gives a snort of disbelief and shakes his head, then turns and keeps wandering.
Vapi stands there for a moment and watches him walking off, a little hurt by his shouting at her. Later she thinks maybe she was just too chatty and that's why he got upset, and resolves to try a different strategy to make him smile the next time she sees him!

lol And here's part two.
It's the next day and Vapi's back in the meadow hoping she'll see the male again. She actively looks for a little bit, but then it devolves into aimless wandering which then turns into distraction when something else catches her attention. At this point she's still hoping to run into the male again, but she's enjoying a day in the meadow rather than actually looking for him. As hours tick by a combination of a late night plus very pleasant weather lures her to curl up in the meadow in the middle of the flowers to take a nap.
About ten minutes later, Taranis walks into the meadow. He was keeping a vague eye out since he didn't want to run into the female again, both because he didn't want to deal with her pestering and because he felt just a teeny bit bad about snapping at her (and therefore pissed at himself for feeling bad at all). He's back now mostly because he wants to see if he can find some flowers to bring home to his sister. He goes wandering through the field, showing actual care to the plants, when he more or less trips right over the female, who was sleeping in a cluster of pastels that made her blend in visually and hid her scent from him.
Vapi is very much jarred from her nap by being stepped on. She finds herself a combination of pleased (she finally found the male from yesterday) and miffed (he stepped on her). Still a little drowsy, she again follows him around the meadow but this time just yawns and offers the occasional comment about a particular flower he's looking at. She also stares at the male's mutations a bit longer than she did yesterday as she gets lost in her train of thought and doesn't pay as much attention to when the male might catch her looking.
Taranis is all kinds of mortified and irritated about stumbling on the female, but since he doesn't want to have to waste another day looking out for her he decides to try ignoring her long enough to find a good flower. As they're walking, even thought the female is practically mute compared to yesterday, he still finds himself getting irritated when he catches her staring a couple times. This time when he confronts her he doesn't yell, but there's still a sarcastic edge to his voice when he says, "What, you never seen a freak up close before?"
Still a little sleepy, even though she starting to perk up a bit, her own blunt way of answering questions causes her to say something like she doesn't think the male is a freak. The edge in his voice is ignored either because she doesn't notice it or she finds it understandable.
Taranis gives a bitter little laugh at her answer and asks, "Well, what would you call it then."
Vapi gives a small hum and responds, "I'd call it being yourself."
Taranis can't really think up a response to that and a silence springs up between the two for a bit. But the next time the female makes a small inquiry about something, he answers. It's short and impersonal, but he's still talking about now.
Vapi feels a little thrill of triumph when the male begins to answer her questions. She tries to limit herself so she doesn't overload him. Some he refused to answer but she discovered it was only with the more personal questions, and if she waited a bit and asked something a bit more general he would start answering again. But progress is progress, and she's sure if this keeps up she'll be able to make him smile again! After the male selects a flower, which she learned he wanted to take back to his sister, and prepares to leave, she tries for one more question. "I'm Vapi. What's your name?"
Taranis pauses and looks at Vapi for a long moment. Then... "Taranis." With that he turned and walked back into the forest, heading for the place his sister called home but now with a cheerful face constantly popping up into his thoughts.
