The first thought Tess had was how the Hunters and the Mafia had nothing to do with her. She didn't even know who these Kuroda-people were or that a member from that family was a student here. But seeing as how she was turning into a hermit more and more, seeing as how she wasn't going to need to get out much, the winged ghoul figured why the Jack not?

Except when she logged on, she let out a startled scream at Pepin's antics, not realizing it was her doing. "Oh Jack, I broke my computer!" she moaned.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 28, 2012 9:49 pm

"Hm?" She peered over Mac's shoulder and facepalmed; she had seen this before, and it was obviously a certain ghoul at work. Holding up the mic, she tapped it before speaking into in, "Pepin! Pepin, we can hear you! Or rather, I can! It's Lizzy! I'm with Amrita and Mac."

She stared at the clock displayed on his laptop, and the moment it hit 10:00am, went ahead and started the meeting with her eyephone, which was hidden in her pocket at the moment, using a prerecording message; thanks to Junko's brilliant idea, they could still attend the meeting as themselves!

Quote:
... Seeds Admin had logged on.

... Seeds Admin had invited you to a call.

Accept / Decline

There was a pause as each Courier member joined the call, and there was nothing but silence from the 'Admin' for a whole 3 seconds before the window with the 'Seed Admin' account lit up.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen," The voice of "Admin" was obviously that of a computer software's, "Pepin, I hope that you had secured our network. It would be troublesome if someone found us. Ah, I apologize for masking my voice, but it is to keep myself anonymous. I trust that everyone had logged into the Seeds forum and got to know about the situation regarding recent kidnappings of students carried out by the 'Kuroda Mafia'; in any other kidnapping situation, it would be advisable for us to approach the Bogeymen. However, as the current situation involves Hunters, we might have to tread lightly."

There was a pause on the other end of the line as a wall of text appeared in the 'Chat' section of the Scythe call.

Meeting Agenda
- Discussion on Horsemen involvement
- Discussion on Staff involvement
- Discussion on Plan of Action
- Conclusion

"As you can see, while our meeting agenda is not very long, I believe that our discussion on the plan of action would take quite some time. Item one... As the Horsemen heirs are the target of the Kuroda operation, would it be wise to invite them into Seeds? Who should we invite, if not all of them? Why? Please discuss - a vote will be taken at the end of 30 minutes."

And then there was silence again.

OOC note:
-> When talking to people over Scythe, make sure you BOLD or UNDERLINE YOUR WORDS so we know who you're talking to!
-> This is because I realized that you might want to talk to the people around you.

"Well, uh, HELLO GUYS!" She threw her arms around her boilfriend's shoulder, leaning forward to look at the screen as she talked into the mic, "So... Opinions? I personally think that we should get at least one horsemen in... Since they're being targeted, they have the right to know?" She turned to look at Amrita, gesturing for her to come over.

"The meeting started!"

And then the meeting began. Shun continued to gently pet Mitsu while watching the screen, listening to the admin lay out their meeting agenda. Once the discussion was opened up, he furrowed his brow, thinking about it.

"The heirs may be valuable allies to us. They are fairly powerful, and they do know a bit about the hunters. It might be worth having at least one of them among our ranks," he said into the mic. Thinking on it a little more, he wasn't entirely certain if the horsemen would be willing to join in on this at all.

Then again, the heirs seemed to have an interest in stopping the Hunters in general too, so perhaps they would be willing to do something of this.

----

Jericho narrowed his eyes as the Admin remained anonymous with this call. There was a slight bit of suspicion within him, but he did not vocalize it. Regardless, he wished there wasn't a need for such secrecy even for the couriers. Letting out a scoff, he crossed his arms and adjusted his headset while listening to a few of the others begin to speak.

"Sure. Why not?" he started, "Good luck getting them in on much though. Or getting them to believe us."

As if prompted to, Pepin sent each and every viewer a small icon that appeared in the bottom right of their screen. It was impossible to make out what it was, unless you were really good at unscrambling code.

A garbled Pepin voice echoed through each users speakers.

"uh... I'm not gonna get some bad s**t on here from this right?" Bul's question was ignored by the glitch ghoul.

"What if they don't care though, they don't seem like the type that would use the interweb for much. Kinda.. dated folk.." he scratched the back of his head and took a sip of some horribly murky looking water. "You know there's a lot happening at school soon too, these Kuroda people things picked a bad time to be doing this crap." The half beast sighed. What COULD they do if they were too busy with the changes concurring at school?

Shehk settled into Junko's room and set her laptop up before the first matter of business went up, having taken a minute to pull up a movie, set it to 20 minutes in, and then turned on Scythe to wait.

PricoliciGirl has logged on

"Now we just wait." Shehk noted, setting her phone within easy reach - perhaps out of some reason she wasn't going to explain.

Then, as timely as expected, the meeting started.

And the first talk was of Horsemen. Shehk 'hmmed' about it thoughtfully for a moment. It seemed like a reasonable idea, she guessed. Still; "The Horsemen? I'm not sure if we should just invite one or two or all of them, though. They seem to all behave a bit differently and that might effect who we'd invite if at all. As for timing, I disagree. They picked the perfect time to move if they want Horsemen with the Trials of the Four Clans coming up. There will be Horsemen all over. If they can't grab an Heir, they can grab something I'm sure." she said, concern in her voice.

Riley had already logged into Scythe promptly at the noted time, but she was currently staring at her computer when Malodore walked in. She turned her head, let out a sigh, and got up off her chair.

We do not wish to be an active member of this conference. She bluntly murmured, before shuffling it carefully to take her chair in front of the computer, and setting her headset on it's head. You may speak for us. They are currently asking our opinion on whether to invite the Horsemen into this private grouping. Our answer is a solid yes, please convey that to them when you give them your opinion, as well.

Then she moved to grab another chair, and sat beside Malodore, immediately dropping her head on it's shoulder and closing her eyes tightly.

She couldn't stand to hear the voices on the headset. The voices in her own head were too loud, too rambunctious, and she couldn't tell which was real, and which were that of her own psyche working against her.

Xiu might have had a minor heart attack when her laptop screen started to glitch up, but it was the unexpected knock on her door that had her jumping in surprise. As the meeting was just about to start, she hesitated for a good second before flinging off her headset, rushing to the door, and throwing it open.

...

Vaith received a surprised stare, but as she looked down at the snacks and drinks and then back to his expression, she realized why he was here. Trying not to laugh, she promptly ushered the boil into her room. "Nice timing! Come in, come in--I think we're just about to start."

She moved back to her laptop, unplugging the headset so that they could both listen in on the Scythe conversation. While the recorded voice was explaining what the meeting was about, Xiu was grabbing another chair for her guest, shoving it up in front of the desk beside hers. Indicating that he should sit down, the baku sunk back down into her own seat, brows furrowed as she listened to the discussion.

"I'm with all of you--since it concerns them, the heirs should hear definitely about this, whether or not they choose to believe us," Xiu piped up, crossing her arms over her chest. Humming thoughtfully, she leaned forward and propped her elbow up on her desk, "I'm not very well-acquainted with the heirs. Does anyone know any of them particular well? Someone who would be willing to listen to us and tell the other heirs about what's going on?"

All cookie issues aside, as soon as the meeting started, Hel was leaning all over Mot staring at the laptop intently.

Oooh, so that was how Scythe worked! That was pretty cool, actually. She listened to her fellow Seeds members speak, and she hummed thoughtfully before putting her two seeds in. “If I were to approach any of them, it would be Invictus.” Eris maybe, but she was on more familiar grounds with the Heir to Conquest…he also seemed to be uh…maybe a bit more level headed than the others. “He also has a GroanSpring, which I think is a step above the others, heh.”

Seiji gave a small shrug, pressed another kiss to his Ghoulfriend's temple, and turned his attention down to his phone as he poked at the screen to bring up the Scythe app. "The dance was nice, and went off mostly without a hitch. I'll give you that."

Corpseater has logged in.

"Did you hear back from She-" He paused as he heard a knock at the door and the familiar voice calling from the other side. "Nevermind." Apparently she had. He kept his spot on the bed as Junko called back, even slid back until he was leaning against the wall, ankles crossed. Settling in nicely until not just his phone, but Junko's as well began to glitch out oddly. His greeting to Shehk was perhaps a little distracted, the start of a wave before he turned a confused glare down to the screen in his other hands.

The answer to the confusion came with Junko's hesitant question towards someone that was very obviously not in the room with them. "Ah."

The meeting started, and for the most part Seiji remained quiet as the other's began asking questions and sharing their opinions. Having been mostly a no show for the better part of the last few months, he did really think he had much to really base his own opinions on. He listened though, intently.

"Ah... si, mia cara. I will take care of it." Malodore squeezed Riley's hand, then cleared its throat awkwardly before leaning forward to talk into the microphone.

"There are, ah, two of us here and we both agree that the Horsemen should be invited. All of them - even if only one or two were invited, the others would find out soon enough, I believe."

Quote:
"Thank you Pepin! After listening to all the opinions from a majority of the parties involved, if there are no violent objections, one of the horsemen heirs will be contacted within the next few days," Admin's voice was hard to miss, especially since it seemed to drown out everyone else's voices.

There was an oddly long pause as Lizzy scrambled to press the correct commands on the eyephone hidden in her pocket; Invictus was mentioned, right? Right.

"The heir Invictus will be contacted first, and the rest to follow. Any objections?"

Lizzy twitched internally, trying her best to keep looking at the screen and focusing on keeping both Mac and Amrita's attention away from her hand; they didn't come up with so many responses! How were they going to answer specific questions?

"Yeah, no viruses please!" She forced a chuckle before pausing as everyone started talking at once, "I agree with Shehk... I mean, I'm assuming that there would be a lot of horsemen around, so it'll be easier to kidnap one of them, right? Maybe that's why they chose this time to act..."

Hopefully Invictus would believe them... If he was willing to help them...

"I've never really spoken to any of them before," She admitted at Xiu's question, looking sheepish even if nobody but the people around her could see it.

Yup, there it went. West frowned at his laptop as Pepin's audio and visual glitchiness took it to Sad Town. He tapped a couple of buttons before restarting the computer completely, only to find that the copy of Scythe he had just installed was now mysteriously missing.

By the time he got everything set up again and had logged back on, some computerized voice was talking about Horsemen and Lizzy mentioned kidnapping. West had read about the Kuroda stuff on the Seeds forum, but he hadn't really known what he could do about it personally, so typing up a reply had kind of slipped his mind. It was all well and good to pledge his support, to look out for kidnappers and stuff like that, but he was fairly sure that if the Hunters wanted to take one of them, they would. Still, contacting that Invictus guy seemed like a good thing to do. As much as he enjoyed being in Eris' presence and was sure she could take a Hunter out if warned in advance, the Heir to Conquest seemed more involved in the day-to-day workings of Amityville. Maybe he... cared? Plus, he was so small. Easy to kidnap. It would be polite to give him a heads up.

He nodded, even though the t-shirt hanging over his webcam made the gesture impossible for anyone to see.

"Fine! Fine. Conquest is probably the best to approach anyway. No objectionssss from ussss," Jericho stated while staring at his computer "Jacking hell. Thissss better not be wire tapped or anything like that."

That might have been a threat. Just maybe.

"I see no harm in it. Don't we see Invictus around the most anyways since he set up that Trial and tends to appear at social functions?" Shehk chimed in, then winced at Jericho's voice, trying to not look too concerned while she was tucked between Junko and Seiji, but there she went grabbing for her phone to hastily type into it.

He was reaching concerning levels on her mental chart.
