"...Not much different than how I usually do.. lately," Jericho murmured before looking around, still feeling uneased here.

"I hope this will go by quickly. We.. don't like how many people are in one place. Too easy.. too easy.." he added quietly before sitting down next to Shehk, shifting his wings so that he could sit comfortably.

Shun had just been sitting quietly, observing the room as people mingled about and found their seats. He spotted a few of the heirs about the room, not that he didn't expect to see them. For a few moments, his gaze lingered on Death, before his attention was stolen away from a head pat.

Looking up, he saw Xiu walking on by. He just nodded quietly to her, then settled back down.

Webbed fins stood up all the way down his spine, and Gargantuan's large mouth dropped open with delight at the gryphon boil that made his way over. "Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeen." He rumbled happily, one thick arm reaching out to wrap around the boil and haul him against his semi-damp side. "Hiiiiii." G knew enough that licking friends was not okay with everyone, but that didn't stop him from snuffling appreciatively at Ren's hair. There could have been something tasty in there!

Ashford was dressed in his traditional attire. Perhaps more covered up than he used to be, but all in all, it wasn't that different, was it?

Sure, his collar was worn a little higher, every single button done up. Cuffs carefully pinned with silver acessories. His slacks weren't torn, for once. Socks that went above his ankles. Gloves securely in place.

Almost as if to hide every possibly inch of skin.

He looked for Thackery but did not see him in the crowd; oh, how awful it was, to be away from his room-- but at least he was still home.

Everything would be fine as long as he was home, and Thackery was safe.

His left hand twitched violently at the thought of Thackery being with someone else, emitting an audible snarl. Angrily, he texted the boil.

At assembly. When will you arrive.

How intriguing! First day at the Academy, and there was an assembly already! They knew it was not in their honor or any such nonsense, but still. Rather exciting. The tall frost demon bumped into a large green fellow, placing a black clawed hand on their shoulder to steady themselves. It appeared the good sir was hugging another boil-- hopefully, Aleria had not toppled them over. They were about even in height, but the other was certainly of a sturdier sort than they were. Large and muscled, rather than lean and a bit on the hungry side.

"My apologies, good fellows! Might there be a seat near here for me? Don't mean to barge in, but really, I'm rather new and know not where I might belong." They smiled-- sharp teeth greeted G, who would, unbeknownst to Aleria, probably appreciate it.

Before Gargantuan could continue to thoroughly investigate poor Ren, something practically freezing touched his skin. The monster yelped, leaping into the air and unfortunately probably ended up rattling Ren about a good bit. Bewildered, the monster peered over his shoulder and was rewarded with a funny sounding voice and a mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth.

It didn't take long for his ear fins to start flapping excitedly, and, unfortunately for poor Aleria, Gargantuan had another arm to embrace the newcomer with. It made him yelp again, and his jaws were chattering loudly even as he attempted to hug the new student close to his body. "Y-Y-You c-cold so G f-fix!" He stuttered happily, his thick tongue lolling out of his jaws so he could experimentally lick the side of Aleria's face.

There was a sharp, sudden grunt of alarm when his tongue promptly stuck there. "Whaaaaa--" G managed to say, not quite aware of what was going on. If he had, he likely would have panicked. As it was, he was being very careful not to dislodge Ren, using his tail to support the gryphon boil. "Heee Weeenn!" The monster chimed in as best he could, tail twitching from side to side with pleasure.

The siren was beeming at the heir, ear wings flicking in excitement. "It would look lovely I think! Um wait old on-" Pulling out his eyephone he began to fuss with it before pulling up a color pallet. "Purple like this! Not to light or bright, but not so dark that it's too much a contrast. If coordinated right you can wear those pretty green gems with it too!" Nodding frantically, he looked around for other before noticing a couple. A couple that had come together at scarentines.



It would not die.

[ENTERING]

It had taken Nuru a lot longer to do than expected but eventually he had convinced Zar to finally leave his room. It took a lot of hard convincing, especially with the threat that it wasn't a choice and he might get thrown out of school if he didn't go.

The dog boil heaved a light sigh of relief as he dragged the demon all the way to the auditorium by his wrist. Late of course. But still they were there and Zar was finally out in the fresh air.

He was getting so worried about him. Something was very wrong and he could barely focus on what the hell this gathering was actually about. Constantly shooting concerned looks at the demon while trying to find them an empty seat together and sit.

Baneful

Ren felt himself swinging around a bit as G started, his fingers digging into the monster's shoulders to keep from being thrown onto the ground. He didn't recognize the cold, sharp-toothed one, but since they had introduced themselves as new, that was only natural.

G was clearly excited about this new figure, however, and wanted what he wanted - namely hugs, and suddenly Ren was squashed in a double hug with both Aleria and G.

...who was trying to lick Aleria. This wasn't unusual, not for G, but considering the state of Aleria....

....and the fact that G's tongue had just gotten stuck to the poor thing.

"Er," said Ren, quite at a loss for words, though he was stifling the mad urge to laugh. G's enormous, scaled tail was curled beneath him like a chair - which made for a nice place to sit, for the most part. "Well. Er. Hold up a second here..."

He wasn't quite sure how to go about this, but whatever worked, right? Sliding his arms around G's neck, Ren carefully pulled at his enormous head.

Maybe that would work. Right.
