Solaris----Tempest
Once their trial had been completed the guild members would find that the four paths converged into one further along and both Solaris and Tempest waited there for them. "I thought there were three trials." The Espeon commented once everyone had gathered. "Why three?" Tempest asked, her tone held the idea she didn't care but was merely making conversation. "Well, you know. Three's the magic number. In most stories its three. Three little pigs, three billy goats gruff-" "Three reasons I should kill you." "Pardon?" "Nothing, we should keep going." The Pikachu gestured ahead where the path extended out to wrap around the mountain like a corkscrew. Nothing on their right to stop them from falling to certain death if they didn't tread carefully.
The sound of a low whine struck Tempest as she padded forward and the Pikachu was forced to stop and turn around to assist Solaris as he once more slipped off the thin pathway that lead the rest of the way to the top. It was coated in ice, frozen solid and treacherous to traverse. Why the foolish Espeon didn't just unsheath his claws for better traction was beyond her. Tempest had conducted a layer of electricity over her entire body to give her a quick 'cling' though functional claws would be more useful. The Pikachu was hardly annoyed, moreso she seemed distracted by something or another and didn't give her usual insults each time she tugged him back up onto the slope. Solaris would have been concerned, but the alternative was putting her back in her good mood and having her shove him off the mountain so he was cool with letting her mope like a sulky-butt. this is totally a scientific term shut up Solaris' paws touched to edge of the mountains upper most ledge. The Espeon thrust his hindlegs back to push himself up to the top in one quick jump. It had been a trying experience, he thought, waiting for the rest of the guild to make their slow and painstaking way up to join him on the mountain's peak. The entire plateau was cloaked in a thick fog, Solaris waved a paw before his face and was slightly concerned he couldn't see it. It was said that any Pokemon who managed to reach the top would have the courage to face anything that dared stand before him. Was this perhaps why the voice had called them here? 'More or less.' The Psyhic spun around in alarm. It was that voice, most certainly, but as they were much closer to where it's owner was it rang with alarming clearness. He recognized it. Solaris knew this voice and yet the name and face escaped him. He couldn't see, couldn't tell where the voice was coming from.
"I had honestly not expected you lot take this long, was rather hoping you'd have been more prepared. There is no doubt in my mind you are severely out of your league in this battle." The thick fog that engulfed the area gave an ominous blue glow before spreading out and then parting to allow to speak to step through. Solaris felt his stomach flip-flop, his eyes widened in a noticeable shock. The Espeon took a single step back to put distance between him and the Pokemon before them.
A blue-toned Mewtwo, familiar to the older members of the guild as the original guildmaster of Rebirth before the core guild was passed down to Alfred by Arceus himself. It had originally been a faceless shadow of a guild with dark intentions or at least...they thought such. Tempest had started to second guess the intentions of the guild before, seeing the legendary again was only making things a bit more clear. Solaris, however, had switched into 'neuralize threat' mode which was usually useful. Not that he ever did such when was actually needed, now for example. The Espeon gave an almost bark-like cry before charging forward at the Mewtwo lerrroooyyy jenkkiiinnnsss, intending to rend him to pieces with a-Quick Attack. Yeah, that'll work on the god-powered legendary psychic type. Attaboy Solly.
The Pikachu could have strangled him, had she the foresight to realize he what he planned to do she would have stopped him. Tempest sometimes forgot just how stupid the sun guildmaster could be and as such wasn't prepared to chase his a** down and drag him back by his tail. Logic, Solaris. If the legendary wanted us dead. We'd be dead. There's really no need ******** it, she was going to just stand there and watch him get owned. cosmic bitchslap time. yes i overused strikes this post go to hell

Hiro finally made it along at the top after the guild master, tired as heck. If he hated anything for the next few days up would be birds. If he had heard the Espeon's comment he'd say that you start the guild with two members per team, and there were two lead birds,; Ho-oh and Lugia. If one of them is up there I am going to flip out. Hiro thought as he soon tripped over the icy floor, soon landing on his rear. Times like these he wished he could float like Lunar.
Looking down at his feet, to make sure he didn't trip again the newbie walked like a tight role walker in a circus. Finally making it past that annoying bridge-ish thingy he looked up and saw the legendary, looked backwards to check for any other guild members, then had a realization. One of those ohmygawddontsmitemewithyourhugepowersihaveawifeandthreekidsnot moments before he jumped in surprise. "What the heck?!" he exclaimed. He had never met one before much less one would probe his brain like a creeper. Newbie alert.
When the Pokemin made his comment about them being not ready for whatever was happening he said "Well that's fairly pessimistic. Especially for someone who offered to train us. If we apparently need the training then what else would you expect?"
Noticing the fact that the guild master was trying to beat the tar out of the strange Pokemon he scratched his head. He didn't need to be a genius to know he'd get beaten silly with the pain-stick if he tried to pick a fight with this Pokemon. The Pikachu seemed less aggressive at least.

 Tolin & Charles
"I take it the Spire had a bit of fun with you." The only response Tolin received from the Mew was an angry glare that clearly read "shut up or die". All the same it did little more than amuse the Scyther and bring a smile to his face. He wasn't fond of the Mew on any level and even though it was petty there was a certain sense of joy that he found in the Mew's expression. It was as if an adult had plucked a child's favourite toy away and smashed it in front of them. As petty as it was, he really couldn't help but be amused that something had screwed with the Mew badly enough that he was left in such an obviously fell mood. As for the Scyther himself... he wasn't affected that drastically. Which, in his mind, made sense since he was quite a bit more prepared for whatever lay ahead than the rest of the guild was.
Not that much had happened. The path had simply been that, a path, until it ended up in a more open area and he ran into a very obviously pissed off Mew. Whatever the case, it seemed as if the trials were over (for him, anyways) and all that was left was to climb this... icy slope. Hm. Tolin tested his weight against the ice before attempting to take a step up and promptly sliding back down. Scyther were more made for forests than they were snowy mountains and the ice below him wasn't exactly easy to walk on to begin with.
"Oh, please. This is embarrassing." It was just a few quiet words that the Mew muttered under his breath before he whipped his finger around in the air. The tip caught alight and in one swift motion the Mew began to burn a path up the ice. Ice turned to water and ran down the path, leaving behind damp earth and stone that was quite a bit more navigable than it's previously frozen counterpart. No thanks was given. The Mew hadn't done it to help, he had merely done it to save time. So, he walked. In the little lane that had been formed by the flames the Mew put out of his hand, Tolin walked up the corkscrew path around the mountain and to it's peak.
He was surprised. He really was. This was the third time Archer had been alive? The second time he had come back? It was a little strange to see him again, but, even moreso was the fact that Solaris was charging forward like an idiot. He hadn't exactly sat down to drink tea with the Mewtwo but he knew him well enough to know Archer would gladly hit Solaris off the mountain and send him plummeting to his death with little issue.
In a blink and a twin set of loud cracks, the Scyther disappeared and reappeared just beside the Espeon as he dashed forward. Tolin promptly kicked him in the side. Not hard or enough to seriously hurt him, but enough to knock him over and send him to the ground long enough that he could shut up and listen. He stared hard at the Espeon as he was sent sprawling to the ground and he spoke with a voice full of authority that told him full well who was in charge.
"Cut that out. You're attacking an ally. And you..." Tolin turned to the Mewtwo. Surprising. A little pleasing. But, mainly, it was confusing--the Mewtwo shouldn't have been able to come back again. Neon was gone and even if she wasn't there was no way for her to do it twice. "How the hell are you back again?"
Charles, of course, merely watched the scene unfold.

HestiaHestia just frowned as she stared a bit more at the gravestone that had her team mate's faces, she then sighed a bit, trying to push her sadness away. She clearly wasn't prepared for what the mountain threw her way, but she knew she had to endure it.
This was a test of their skill after all, right?
Turning around she started along the path, smiling as she saw the other guild members. So this was done? Really?
Noticing a Scyther and a Mew, Hestia faltered a bit, all the gild members seemed to be more prepared for this than her. Or at least she thought they were...
Noticing the thin path left behind by the mew she hurried along it, following the others to the peak. Hestia then saw a Mewtwo with a scarf and blinked, was he the one who called them? It was then she noticed the guild master...he was the guild master right? Yeah... She noticed the guild master rush towards the Mewtwo, "...Are...we supposed to be...attacking?"
Maybe the guild master was just rushing head long foolishly? ...Nah, that couldn't be, Hestia was sure their guild master was fully capable of decisions~ Even if those decisions didn't make sense to her...

Erinn Erinn traveled in solitude for a short while as he climbed higher and higher up the Spire. He paused only a few times to peer over the side with some hesitance, trying to gauge his position but failing utterly miserably at the task. One this was certain, he couldn't see the ground any longer which meant that he'd gotten a good deal further up the mountain after his last stretch of the journey; when he looked up though, the proximity to the peak was as unknowable as ever. The clouds were now upon the rock itself, resuming the misty quality it had taken on at the bottom, but this time it was caused by their height: he was literally walking amidst the clouds. While some might have found this thought quite thrilling or fantastic, the Paras considered it a terrifying thing indeed. Bug Type Pokemon were never intended to be this high off the ground, and he really preferred it that way even though his Team Leader was living testimony against the fact that land locked Pokemon should remain as such. Needless to say, Erinn was a little unsettled as he continued his travels upward without any incident. After the past two times he expected some sudden obstacle to present itself out of the blue, but nothing came to meet that expectation. Instead the Paras found his path converging with three others and there at the midpoint were Solaris and the Pikachu Guildmaster, Era's friend.
Never before had Erinn been so ecstatic to see the Guildmaster, his uncertainties regarding the Espeon fading in favor of utmost gratitude that he had been granted real company again-companions that didn't originate from his thoughts. He was, surprisingly enough, one of the first to arrive and stood silently by the higher-ups as the rest of the Pokemon gathered into their usual small group of intrepid explorers. Although he still felt somewhat distant from the group as a whole, he found that he believed himself to have a bit more right to be there now that he'd gone through his trials by fire. Maybe-just maybe-there was something more to him after all. Everyone looked as though they'd been through equally harrowing ordeals, some of them bloody and some of them looking almost haunted in appearance, but maybe that was what it took to become stronger. ...Nah, that sounded like something coming directly from a motivational speech. The Bug Type listened to the Guildmasters' banter quietly as he thought about the concept to himself until at last they moved to press onward.
As they traveled up the slope, the going grew more and more difficult. The incline grew steeper and the terrain harder than ever to manage. Ice sheathed the rock that they traveled up and with the physique that Erinn had it made it very hard for him to manage a way up without sliding back two feet for every one that he progressed. Eventually he managed to work out a sort of system that involved him digging his front claws into the ice and dragging himself forward that way. It wasn't fast but it did work-partially anyways. He noticed the Mew that was melting a pathway up the spiral but he shuddered and stayed away from the ground that was exposed over there. The Paras couldn't place it but something just seemed to be off about that Mew and he didn't want to be closer to the Psychic Legendary than was absolutely necessary. After a close encounter wherein he slipped and skidded terribly close to the side though, the Bug Type forced back his fear for value of his life and walked on the still-wet ground path. He was now toward the back of the group thanks to his difficulties but the Paras didn't really seem to mind at all: it was safer where there were more people with him and so he stayed there until they rounded the last bend to the very tip of the peak.
The peak of Twisted Spire was shrouded in thick fog, and although they were clearly on a large flat surface now and his Guildmates were standing about him, Erinn briefly felt as though he had returned to the bottom of the mountain-alone and about to face his trials all over again. Then the hush was broken by the sound of a voice, and the Paras' eyes widened as he identified it to be the same as the voice that had been inside his mind before this journey ever began. In spite of himself the Bug Type cringed back at the scathing authority in the voice as it chided them for their tasks. Instantly bitter disappointment swept over him: it had all been for nothing then, they had failed. All that time spent, all of his courage and strength worn down to the core, only to be told that it wasn't good enough. Just like before, just like always he wasn't good enough. The thought made Erinn quiver in anger and sadness, and he watched the fog part and the Mewtwo step out with that discontent in his eyes. So it was some Legendary, just like it always was, telling them that they were inferior and weak and pathetic and wouldn't stand a chance in the end. He'd said he was going to help them but it didn't seem like he'd done so much at all. Now here they were and all he was doing was mocking them all.
Still, when Solaris charged forward to attack the Mewtwo Erinn wasn't keen to join in. Not only did his sense of self-preservation get in the way (because honestly charging a Legendary was like having a death wish), but he also didn't care to stoop that low. This pretentious Psychic may be better than all of them and have the right to say it, but that did not give him any reason to taunt the Guilds after all the hard work that they'd done. Every Pokemon here gave their all to what they did, and they rarely got anything in return but kind words and the occasional reward from a kindhearted Pokemon who was given the help they'd requested. They tried so hard on a daily basis and it took its toll on them: Erinn had seen it with his own eyes. He'd seen the eyes of children who knew more than a child should ever know from growing up in the Guilds, he'd seen more injuries and kinds of injuries than any normal doctor would see in the entire course of his career, he'd watched Pokemon break and he'd watched them rebuild themselves, and he'd seen the tears that his own closest friends, that his tender-hearted Leader shed late at night when she thought everyone else was asleep. They lived through hell, and he had no right to make them feel worse because of it. Thus Erinn watched with a scathing expression as Solaris was pushed aside and the Mewtwo was addressed, a dark feeling of anger bubbling within him that didn't cease. Whoever the Legendary was, the Paras had no love for him. Even if he did help their cause in some way he'd rather keep his distance from someone so obviously unpleasant.

Violet Dawn In Clouded Skies & KeiranSkye scampered hurriedly toward the crossing paths, her breathing still harsh from the steep climb up the jagged mountain. The illusions had only just broken down around her, and she felt a little confused as to where she was, or even if this new world was the real one. She did know that she was more than a little relieved to see her guildmates ahead of her.
The group was led by a pair of guildmasters; Tempest and her great uncle Solaris. Tolin was there, too, walking alongside a very odd-looking Mew. She'd never met a real one, before, but she was pretty sure that they were supposed to look happier than this one did. Something about him just seemed... a little odd. It was difficult to explain, exactly what about him made her uneasy, but she felt that she really wouldn't like to find herself too close to him.
In the end, she fell into step just behind a glossy-eyed Paras, trying to stay quiet and out of the way. Most of those around her seemed older than she was, though not necessarily more experienced. Nearly all the members of their group seemed a little anxious, and very few among them had grown enough for evolution. They weren't exactly the best choice for a fighting force, now that she thought about it; maybe she really should have told her teammates about it. She didn't want to think about what would happen, when Azra woke up without her there...
Gradually, she made her way toward the front of the group. Despite her exhaustion, and the aching in her chest and limbs, she still seemed one of the fitter members of their group. A lot of the others were injured somehow; she was grateful to have avoided that, aside from a few scratches across the face from some brambles. Her small, sharp claws made the climb far less of a hassle as she made her way ahead of the little silver Mew, little scratches marring the icy path.
...Had it really just been all an illusion? The Pokemon she'd met that day; the Vaporeon, the Bulbasaur... was it just some sort of waking dream? She didn't understand. They'd felt so real, and the Bulbasaur... he'd been a good friend. She couldn't say for sure, but they'd been travelling for hours. After spending the late hours of the night with someone, fighting for survival... it made a difference to her. She wished that he'd not had to die, though he'd already noted his lack of vitality in the first place.
The soft sigh rippled from her throat, but she didn't have time to dwell on her mistake as someone from the head of the group started yelling. She recognized the voice almost immediately as Solaris', but she could barely hear what he was saying.
Ears pricked, Skye squeezed through the crowd, once again finding a place near the little orange Paras. She was crouched next to him, dark eyes wide with a mixture of awe and surprise at what she found before her. The Mewtwo was tall and lean, with a blue and silver body.Striking blue eyes seemed to stare them down with an intense disapproval, and a simple, thick brown scarf was wrapped 'round his neck. He cut an impressive figure, surrounded by such a small, rag-tag sort of group.
"...Who's that?" she questioned quietly, to no one in particular.
A hacking cough could be heard behind her, and the Eevee jumped, startled by the noise. She twisted to see who it was, and found herself face to face with Keiran. She flattened her ears, eyeing the scorch marks that crossed his fur. He smelled thickly of salt, sulphur and smoke; an odd combination on the best of days. It seemed that his illusions had not been the tamest to deal with. Despite it all, he seemed uninjured, and relatively undisturbed by whatever had occurred.
"Don't ask," she was informed rather quietly, the Riolu making a slight face in response to her shocked expression. "...What exactly are you doing here, anyway?"
Skye flattened her ears indignantly, arching an eyebrow. "Says you, Keiran. You're supposed to be recovering..." Her voice was low, trying to keep their conversation low-key and not overheard. Solaris hadn't spotted her, yet, and she figured that was a good thing. She wasn't sure whether or not her great uncle would actually recognize her, or how he would react if he did.
"I'm not a minor." Skye flushed at this, feeling her face heat up in embarrassment. "I hope your mother knows you're out here, Skye." A faint grimace, the Eevee wincing at the guarded words seemed to make the Riolu feel a little less than reassured. She could almost read his thoughts from his expression alone; "...Damnit".
The Riolu glanced down at the Paras next to them, offering a small, uneasy smile. He was from Era's team, if Skye remembered correctly. He seemed a little timid, so she wasn't sure if he'd actually speak up, but Keiran seemed comfortable enough around him; that was definitely a good thing, in her opinion.
"...Well, I suppose it's a bit late, now, I suppose," he relented, allowing the subject to drop. Skye was relieved at this, her expression clearly showing it.

 Victor
A few moments after being sucked into a whirlpool of impending doom, the mountain seemingly decided it didn't want to devour Victor's soul. The Scyther was spat out from a small hole in the mountainside, along with a small torrent of water. Using his scythes like picks, Victor managed to stay on the path he was ejected onto. "I don't understand how some Pokemon can love rock climbing so much..." Victor muttered as the flow of water washed over him. Luckily his scythes were buried deep enough in the ground to not get washed away with much of the dirt that was taken by the water.
Yanking his scythes from the ground, Victor used his "wrist" to wipe a bit of water and dirt from his eyes. Time to continue on, he supposed. The Scyther continued down the path toward the top of the mountain. It wasn't very long before the monochromatic bug's path converged with three others, which were no doubt in his mind the other three paths he could have taken. Damn mountain, ******** around with a Pokemon's sense of direction. Before long, Victor met up with the rest of the Guild Pokemon. "Ah, good to see we all had the same idea," Victor noted, as he had come up with the idea to get to the top of the mountain on his own. Solly needed to make some plans once in a while. "Should we take a head count?"
Victor's request would have to wait, though, as the Pokemon who had apparently summoned them appeared to the Guild. A Mewtwo, a Pokemon of legend. Some believed the species was created artificially as a clone of Mew. Some believed it was a rare evolution. Victor didn't know what to believe, as he had always been skeptical of their existence, even if he had read about them. You never knew when it was just an oddly formed Mew. But Victor could tell that this was no Mew. "... Oh, Miss Harumi would most surely kill to be here right now."

The wind picked up, sending fur and hair and articles of clothing whipping about in a frenzy. Solaris hit the ground hard, barring his teeth at the Scyther before hearing his words. Ally? What? That made no sense! This Mewtwo had been out for their blood before! He'd tried to kill them all, he'd killed a Mew, he had caused Glacia's death, he-he-...The Espeon turned to see Tempest slowly making her way over. The Pikachu ignored the mortal Psychic in favor of giving the legendary one a quick sweep of her eyes. After a moment a small smile played across her expression. "You were the Eevee from the hospital then. I thought so. Well, Archer was it, I believe the Scyther asked you a question." The Mewtwo met the Pikachu's calm blue eyes before glancing towards Tolin with the faintest hint of a snarl in his words. "You would have to ask Neon that exactly." "Neon?" Solaris was back on his paws and toddling forward with wide, curious lavender eyes. The Espeon's annoyance at Tolin and fear of the legendary were momentarily forgotten. Archer eyed the gathered guild members and gave a sigh before raising his hand and a golden ring of swirls appeared around his right wrist. "I will relay what she told me. She was captured by Eridanus, the Lugia acting as her guardian was killed and his relic stolen back. That psychopathic little normal type made her restore to life his entire Elite. The original set. Fortunately he no longer has possession of all the relics otherwise he'd be able to-what's that look for?" Midspeech the Mewtwo had noticed both Tempest and Solaris' expression grow dark and fearful, the Espeon much more so than the Pikachu. "He has them." The psychic feline muttered quickly. "What?" "Eridanus has the relics." Archer's expression went from shock, to panic and then quickly to rage in one sweeping motion. "Do you know what this means?! He's near completion! Once he gets the rest of Suecra he'll start his assault on the-no." Once again his words forced a change in expression on the guildmasters before him and once again the Mewtwo reacted with his own though less anger and more despair. "...I don't believe this." "We can still win." Solaris said, swishing his tails in a demand for attention. "We just have to get to the tower and take him out before he can finish the ritual. If we don't act quickly he'll take Arceus place and rule this entire world!" "But Neon was needed for the plan." Tempest cut in, the Pikachu was wringing her tail between her paws in a nervous manner so unlike herself. "Neon was suppose to restore Arceus once we took him out. To complete the balance again. Without her we can't do a damn thing." It was here Archer once again cut in, the Mewtwo's expression did not waver from his dejected stance. "...there is another. Neon said there is an Umbreon in your guild with her blood and thus able to restore Arceus to life. She is unable to, not after bringing back the entire set of Elite. I was her last ditch effort to do something useful. Apparently she hoped my warning would give us time, but she did not see that time is already short." "Well, we need to act now then. We need to-" A sudden change in the wind was the only warning given, the legendary reacted faster than the others and by the time the fire blast had reached them a protect shield was already covering the guilds. In the sky, in the distance, a black form was flapping its wings in a steady beat. Two red eyes starred down at the gathered Pokemon before a mighty flap sent it higher into the blue expanse of sky above until it all but vanished. "....we need to get back to your guild now." Archer said quietly, eyeing the cracks that had formed in his barrier before allowing it to drop. "The Elite already know we're coming for them." "Right!" The Espen bounded to the center of the crowd of Pokemon. "Everyone gather around, I'm teleporting us back to the guild!"
