He was looking at the map making his way towards the library and finally came to the doors that would permit him entrance to the hallowed and sacred place. At least, that's how he felt about libraries. Always so peaceful and quiet. Such a good place to gather ones thoughts. Reverently opening the right of the two doors, he walked in, bag over his shoulder and took in the grandeur of the massive library. It was light and sunny with creams and soft wood tones. Very welcoming indeed. He walked over to the shelves and began looking through the books. Not long after he had figured out how they were ordered and looked for a book on how to recall past memories and post traumatic stress. After gathering those two books, he went to one of the large window sitting areas and made himself comfortable. Taking out his journal and pen, he started and entry and wrote, then stopped to read, then wrote some more. After he had finished reading what he wanted to, he finished his entry, closed the journal and put the two books back that he had been reading. Sitting there, he let his mind wonder and closed his eyes.

Time passed and he opened his eyes. Nearly an hour had gone by. Taking a breath in, he stood, put his things back, and headed to the outdoor pool. A nice swim would be a treat.

With a small smile Rose pushed through the doors of the library. Her eyes widened. She had never seen so many books under one roof let alone in the same room. Walking over to the first shelves of books she looked them over curiously.
Grabbing a small beat up looking book called "White Fang" she opened it and began reading. Looking up only for a moment she found a small place to sit in the corner by a window. Hurriedly she sat down and got herself comfortable and began reading.

He carried his laptop in a bag which was slung over his shoulder. His eyes widened at the amount of books. He began looking through the books. Walking down and figuring out the way they were organized, he started looking for computer books.The young man reached up and grabbed a book on HTML coding. Being new to the castle he was looking for something quite to do and hoped he wouldn't be bombarded with all kinds of new people, masters, mistresses, or pets. He gave a little sigh as he walked back to a table near a female reading "White Fang." He caught a glimpse of silver and looked at the silver heart that held the lacy material around her chest. He mentally slapped himself when he realized where he was looking. He turned with a slight blush and sat down. Leon opened his laptop case and pulled out his laptop opened it and then opened the book. He started typing away....Schweigen ist Gold.

Picket (blue) and Nicolai (red) Once they were changed back into their own clothing, Nicolai led the way out of the party and toward the library. As Picket ran about the hallways, keeping the short and uneventful trip eventful accompanied by the random detours. Of course, Nicolai managed to catch the sprite before he got too far away. Thankfully, they were able to avoid trouble and avoid breaking anything. When they finally reached the library, Picket immidently went to find a blank book or stack of papers while Nicolai began browsing a list of categories and references. "Sorry about the trip here, Cassie. Things should be more controlled now," he assured her. The sprite, in the meantime, was singing to himself as he wrote. "Archiving. Archiving. Gotta write it down. Gotta write down," he began, then went on about what he was writing about. Most of the words were in different languages he had picked up though.

  ____  ____  Sweet love sweet love trapped in your love I've opened up, unsure I can trust ╔════════════ ●●● ════════════╗ Cassie's clothing now consisted of a teal tank top with lace around the hem and a white skirt that reached to her ankles. She followed Nicolai and Picket out of the ballroom, her eyes shifting this way and that at all the new scenery. If left to her own devices the girl most definitely would have gotten lost because of this. She didn't mind Picket's actions in the slightest, the sprite kept things interesting and was entertaining to watch. Plus, they didn't get into any trouble and nothing got destroyed.
Once the finally did reach the library the sprite ran off and she trailed behind Nicolai. The mermaid giggled lightly when the werewolf apologized and shook her head. "You don't need to apologize, it was fun. Besides, if I was by myself I never would have been able to find this place." Picket's tune carried to her ears though many of the words he used were unfamiliar to her. She tilted her head to the side, looking at the list Nicolai was browsing. Most everything on it just looked like scribbles to her. "What are you looking at Nicolai?" Picket (blue) and Nicolai (red) Nicolai looked at Cassie when she spoke, then looked back to the listen when she finished. "Something to read, really. Though it isn't much, I like to read about other people and cultures," he said, then put the list back where he found it and started to a bookcase. After looking for a few moments, he pulled a book from the shelf. "It could be that I'm from an entirely different world, but deserts are somewhat of a wonder to me," he said, opening the book and flipping through a few pages. Picket had been continuing his archiving. The pace that he was writing was inhuman, but there was the occasional mistake here and there. "Picket done! Need to Head Mistress sometime," he said, jumping down from his seat with the partially filled book. "Oh. You're going to be leaving your work here instead of taking it where you usually do?" Nicolai asked. Picket nodded his head. (OOC: Sorry for the wait. Been busy with another RP.)

She was almost always quiet when others were speaking, only interrupting if there was something that she absolutely could not wait to know or if she was hyper. Neither of which was the case right now. "Any specific people and cultures? Or just all of them in general?" Cassie herself had become even more curious about other races and the things they did ever since coming to live on land. She giggled when the werewolf said he might be from a different world because deserts were a wonder to him. "How would finding deserts intriguing make you come from a different world"?
Every now and then her eyes would wander over to the sprite, did all two-leggers write so quickly? She didn't think so. Or if they could they had never done it in front of her. After a moment Picket spoke up and hopped off of his seat. She tilted her head ever so slightly as she listened to the conversation between the two. How often did Picket do this archiving thing? And where did he usually keep it? Still, it didn't seem like her place to ask so she wouldn't, not right away anyhow. Picket (blue) and Nicolai (red) "Well, I came from a place surrounded by snow and ice that was always cold. Deserts are mostly sand, very little vegetation, hot in the day and cold in the nights," he explained, giving a breif comparsion. Nicolai had been to both climates, and preferred the cold to the daily changing desert. "The Arabian Nights are mostly all I know, I'm afraid. Picket and I have only found one group that live in deserts, Egyptians I believe, I don't understand how they such stories are made about people in deserts," he said, shaking his head. Picket walked over and climbed up onto Nicolai's shoulder, smiling at Cassie. "Scary-Eyes talking about traveling? We go to many, many places! Meet many, many, many people!" he exclaimed. The sprite never lied, no reason to do so, and when he said many, he meant more. "Don't travel underwater though. Picket no like get wet," he added, shuddering at the thought before quickly going back to normal.

Serenity heard him say that his name was Jagger Ridge and that Jagger would do. That was fine with her. She nodded looking up at him briefly when she did. They kept walking and looked in several doors before coming to one that, when opened showed many books. Excited about this, she reached up and hugged him and exclaimed;
"Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Now I can learn many things!"
She ran into the library and started quickly looking around at the shelves to see what book she'd look at first. When she found one that she thought she'd get something out of, she pulled it off the shelf and turned back to Jagger.
"Are you going to come sit with me Jagger?!"

Jagger Ridge Jagger blinked in surprise, and found himself not really knowing what to say when Serenity suddenly hugged after they found the library, thanking him and saying that now she could 'learn many things'. Well, that was a reaction Jagger hadn't quite expected. Especially considering how shy the girl had appeared just moments ago. He watched as she ran into the library and began looking at the shelves, examining the books and he guessed looking for which one she wanted to read first.
And oddly enough for Jagger, he gave a light chuckle. Serenity reminded him of a little girl with the way she was so excited about the books. It also made him wonder how come she had acted so differently a moment ago. He quickly cleared his thoughts when Serenity asked if he were going to go sit with her. He considered her question for a second, then gave a light shrug of his shoulders.
"Sure, why not?" he said, walking farther into the library. He walked over and picked out one of the couches to sit down on. Once he'd sat, he looked back towards Serenity. "What kind of book did you pick out?" he asked. Jagger had once liked reading books as well, a long time ago. Of course back then, books had been much different, but still he'd enjoyed them. After everything had happened, Jagger had lost interest in them, though. Maybe he should try to get back into reading again. If he were going to be living her for awhile, he'd have to find new hobbies. Which actually, he needed new hobbies anyway.

His chuckle had been lost on her as she was to excited to find her book. She had picked out a book about fish and then turned to look at him waving it in the air happily. She saw him sit on the couch and ran over to him plopping down beside him.
"This one! It's about fish. I think they're pretty."
She got quiet as she opened the book and began to read. It was hard in some spots, but not as hard as she thought it would be. It was rather enjoyable. And somewhere in her mind she found herself thinking that she would be looking forward to reading many more books while she was here.

Jagger Ridge Jagger felt the corners of his lips tug upward when she said that the book was about fish. And that she thought they were pretty. It was rare for Jagger to smile, and had been a long time since he'd done so. But it was hard not to, even for him, around Serenity.
Jagger watched as she opened the book and started reading it, going quiet as she did. Jagger remained quiet as well, not wanting to distract her since she was obviously enjoying her book. Instead while she read Jagger watched her for a moment, and looked around the library at the other books lining the many shelves in the room. After a few moments, and Serenity had had time to go through several pages, Jagger looked back to her.
"You know, I bet the Mistresses wouldn't mind if you picked out a few books to borrow and take to your room. Then you could bring them back and exchange them out for others," he said. "I could help you pick out a few and help you carry them if you wanted," he offered.
It wasn't something Jagger would normally offer to do, but he found that he wanted to.
Odd.

She didn't look up until she heard Jaggers voice some time later. She'd read several pages about Angle fish and found them fascinating. Looking away when he offered to help her carry books back to her room, she thought about it for several minutes. Master Asher didn't seem to be overly controlling. At least, not yet. She didn't think she would be beat for having him help her carry the books back to her room. So she looked back up at Jagger and smiled brightly nodding cutely.
"That would be great Jagger! Thank you very much. I'll go pick out some more books. Do you want to leave now or later?"
