Luke did have a point there. "Aheh," was the only think Emil could say to that, and grin in his continued sheepishness. But he was okay so it was... okay. Although Emil was quickly realizing he was very wet and cold, and he put his arms around him and started to shiver a bit. Luke's question drew a blink though.

"Um... well..." he started, not having really thought about that yet. He looked around and then to the pier, remembering that the pokeballs had been left up there. He had to admit, the Sharpedo had brought him back to shore and let him take the hook out of her mouth. She would make a great friend right?

"Hold on a minute," he told the Sharpedo before making his way up to the pier. That's when he noticed the warning sign. "... Eh." Probably best if he didn't point that out to Luke.

The Sharpedo glared murderously at Luke while Emil was gone. Baring her teeth at him in a clear threat display. She didn't like him. Not one bit. But eventually the boy came back with their stuff and she seemed less angry.

He approached the Sharpedo and beamed. "So, would you like to be my friend?"

"Shaaaar" it growled at him, looking about as happy as a Sharpedo could.

"Okay then!" And with that, Emil touched the ball to the giant pink fishmon and it disappeared in a flash of light. Caught!

Luke gladly returned the Sharpedo's glare. Had he fangs of his own, he would have bared them as well. Damn stupid shark thing. He watched Emil idly when the boy returned. "..." Well, that was one way to catch a pokemon.

The redhead pulled himself to his feet with Leste's support and returned the Pidgeot to her pokeball. "Well, I guess that was productive, or something..." he sighed. It was a 'catch,' after all, though it certainly left Luke with a desire to fish again in the future that could be measured with a negative value. "Okay, it's freezing out here," he decided at length, rubbing his arms for the warmth of friction. The statement was made even more true by the fact that both of the boys were varying degrees of soaked.

Emil put the wet Pokeball in his pocket and turned to Luke, who also looked wet and cold.

"Y-yeah..." he agreed with Luke's statement, still shivering himself. "Let's go back. I think I've had enough fishing for today." Maybe for a long time. If this is how fishing was every time, Emil wasn't sure he wanted to do it anymore. Even if he got a cool Pokemon out of it.
