Tygrus sniffed at Tim, by the smell of him he was nervous, but not lieing. He then looked down to Artemis who was calmly sitting in his grasp, then to Abby.
He snarled and put the two down and then looked back at Tim. "If I find out that you're hiding something from me, I will not be happy."
-------
Dorian glared at the gun. Being threatened by a gun toting maniac had not been on his to do list today. Batman? Him, he was expecting.
Crystal huffed a bit, exhausted and in pain. "Please... Put the gun down." She took a deep breath.
"After he told me... what was going on... I agreed to let him do this..."

Dorian shoulda learned to expect the unexpected. Giving the doctor the mother of all death glares, Arell holstered the gun. "She dies an' you go with her, Emile." Arell said, a sign of his more reptilian features appeared in a brief moment. He got down towards Crystal.
"Now what's going on, che'?" Arell asked. It was starting to get very clear that he didn't get all the details in this predicament. However, he really, really, REALLY wanted to put the hurt on Dorian, for kidnapping Crystal.

After being released from Tygrus' grip, Abby hurriedly scooped up Artemis and scurried over to Tim, hiding behind him and peeking out from behind him at Tygrus.

Tim cautiously lowered his bo-staff (but kept it in front of him just in case) after Abby and Artemis were released and took a position behind him. He glanced towards the facility and started to wonder if Tygrus would actually do something at this point if they headed in that direction. So far, the "hostage" situation had turned into a lucky break. Arell had already gone inside -via blasting the door- and Robin was inclined to follow. Maybe talking to Tygrus was the path to take.
"Can we go in now?"
It was a rather obvious question... but angering Tygrus at the moment would prove to be a waste of time.

Tygrus tilted his head in a curious manor. "Why would you want to disturb Father?"
-------
Crystal dead paned for a moment at Arell's question. "I'm in excruciating pain and am trying to recover from that before any other test are done?"
Dorian kept his mouth shut, trying to figure out a way to get rid of the Cajun mad man.

Crystal wasn't the only one to deadpan at that. "Well hell, just lemme blow his ********' brains out so we can actually get you to someone who isn't a goddamn mental case to work on ya, huh?" he said in a dangerously deadpan tone. Well, you're the guy who shot a freaking LOCK off, thought you could go all First-Blood Rambo on this situation and expect to get outta here before poker night. You may as well be the pot callin' the kettle black! he thought. His hand still gripped on the butt of his gun.
It was moments like this that made him REEEEEEAAAALLY regret quitting smoking. He could go for a whole goddamn pack of lucky strikes right now.

Tim blinked as he continued to stare at Tygrus. There was no real malice from him... it was different than most hostile people you would meet on a night out in Gotham. Robin hadn't exactly expected this reaction from the hybrid at all.
"....... our friend is in there. Can we make sure she's all right?"
He lowered his staff a bit more. Maybe that would help...?

Tygrus's eyes narrowed. "You're not lying to me are you?" He tilted his head. "You're not to lay a hand on my father."
He spoke, almost trustingly, to Tim.
-------------
"Would you put the gun down, ya hot head?" Crystal smiled up at him.
Dorian kept his gaze trained on the gun still. "I'm the only one willing to use the means that are needed to stop this. The method is considered a bit..." He thought for a moment. "controversial."

Tygrus should be better convincing the "hothead" with the gun. Arell looked down at Crystal and then up at the man. "I coulda sworn you were from Met'rie, not Stockholm. Do I gotta remind you dat de sonofabitch KIDNAPPED you?" Arell asked, but finally caved in and holstered the gun, clearly he lost. Growling the only thing that could possibly be on his mind. "I need a freakin' drink." Exasperated, he looked at the guy. "Next time you need someone t' work on somethin', remind her to book an appointment, a'right? I doan' wanna have to come all the way down here with Batman's sidekick and a few others just 'cause YOU wanna play F***ing DOCTOR. Are you in ANY WAY AWARE that I was about a split second away from sendin' yer goddamn brains from here to Hong Kong ya goddamn Lunatic?!" He asked, getting up in Dr. Dorian's face. He may have escaped death, but the human side of Arell, the one that cared deeply for Crystal and was freaking the hell out when she got kidnapped, was NOT going to back down without giving Dorian the biggest Tongue-lashing that he could EVER muster! The man was furious . . . and sober. Now shoving him around so to not push him into a shelf of dangerous chemicals, he continued his verbal attack. "I swear to ******** GOD if you try this on her again, you will NOT get out of this alive. DO! YOU! ********! UNDERSTAND?!?" he asked. Accenting his rage with a punch to the stomach to punctuate his last statement.

(...can Tygrus hear Arell from outside? o_o )
Tim was only growing more curious of Tyrgus's behavior. He was fully intent on protecting his 'Father'... he didn't seem the least bit interested in stopping them from their initial goal, which was to make sure Catgirl was okay, and get her off the island. Well, so far Robin had been neglecting to mention the "getting her off the island" part. He lowered his staff to his side, clicking it to it's shortest length.
"We're here for Crystal."

Tygrus suddenly had a ping of realization cross his face. "Ohhh.... Ok..." He nodded slowly, standing up fully once Tim's weapon was put away. The noise inside the building didn't bother him. His father would let him know if he was needed.
"My sister is in good hands. Father only wants to heal her of her ailment." His gruff speech almost sounded like jealousy.
"I will make sure she is handed over to you once he is done."
---------------------------
Dorian had backed against his computer desk before being manhandled, doubling over from the punch to his stomach.
Crystal slowly sat up, growling low. "Arell!" She looked at him in shock.
"Must you really be so violent? Yes, I know he kidnapped me. Though after he showed me his reasons I decided to cooperate."
She looked to the floor. "He was right when he said he was the only one that could help me."

"He doesn't an' he goes to hell, just like this mission to save you from this ********' a*****e has." Arell growled low. This wasn't the Cajun goofball Crystal met, this is the guy who had definitely had enough. " . . . only person that got me t' quit an' start back up again." he muttered.
He walked over to the door he entered in, taking it clear off the hinges, he threw the door aside and walked out. Simultaneously, he fumbled around for his cigarettes. The same pack he had on him so long ago when he quit. Fumbling a little bit, he was so stressed he almost broke the cig in half just getting it out of the pack and into his mouth!
He walked up past Tygrus and the others. "She's safe. That ******** doctor turned her into a ******** Stockholm Syndrome-suffering goddamn in-patient for his ******** experiments." he growled, explaining the situation rather shortly . . . and definitely profane.
He also looked up at Tygrus. "Hey, s**t-head. Yer damn door's broken. Leave the others alone and go fix it." he growled. He took out his lighter and lit the smoke. Sitting on a rock to calm down before he went back in there. Fighting hard to prevent his change into the other form . . .

Abby wheeled around, still holding Artemis, and looked wide-eyed at Arell. She looked to Tygrus, then back to Arell, then back to Tygrus, then back to Arell once more.
Reflexively, she gripped Tim's arm again and whimpered: "Oh crap..."

Tygrus blinked and stared at Arell in dismay. "What crawled up him?" He thought for a moment. "And what's a Stockholm?"
He looked to Tim and Abby in confusion.
-----------
It didn't take Dorian too long before he had regained his composure... For the most part.
"Ok. A bit violent, don't you think?" He looked to his daughter, who was staring at the door, tears filling her eyes.
She used her harm to whip up the tears. "I've honestly never seen him like this. It's not like him..."
Dorian stopped and stared at his daughter as he thought back to before she had run away. How sweet and innocent she was, and now realized just how hurt she was when he changed because of his fear of loosing her.
The person she was now was all because of him, all the pain and despair she had gone through. The difficulty of not having a parent must of been horrific for her. How could she of possible grown so strong? With everything he had unintentionally set in motion against her, how could she of survived?
He looked away from her and walked towards the other room. "I'm going to get another test kit." The sound of his voice had changed. He was now deep in thought and feeling severe remorse.
