Hey everybody, it's King, and hopefully I can clarify things with this post, I'll try my best. As Kail had mentioned we've decided to create sort of a "joint" entity between the two guilds, in where all members of Runescape and Gaia can interact peacefully at their own discretion. Without touting my own horn, the guild I run along with some buddies (D2T, Sariou, Scratcheee and the Crew) is successfully active in many areas.

About two nights ago (St. Patricks Day), Kail and I were discussing via Runescape PM creating an RS community like we used to have back in 06 and 07 all the way to late 08. For those of who you were here and remember, it was awesome! I feel like many of us still play, or played because of the community that we were all a part of. Personally, I know I would never have gotten as far into the game as I have if it wasn't for the "Gaia Guild" friends chat back in the day.

So, Kail and I have planned to run a Clan Chat (not Friends Chat, there was some confusion). The first day Clan Camps and Clan Chats were released, I decided to reserve the name "Gaia" with the buddies I run the other guild with. It was successful and the name is in our possession, so starting a Clan Chat will not be a problem, and those who would like to join as guests will find it easy as all they'd have to type in is "Gaia". Now, as far as governing the Clan Chat, Kail and I have come to a joint decision. I will be giving Kail full administrative access and allowing him to promote or demote whomever he'd like. We have talked about moderators and decided it'd be best to see who would like to join and then decisions will be made. The guild I run alongside with some buddies is completely fine with this and supportive of this merge.

Now, this is the thing. As a Guild Leader for the last 3-4 years I have found that a key factor in successfully leading is being able to give up power and not promote those who just care about the power. Personally, I am not bothered with giving up moderator controls in the Clan Chat because I know we have had problems in the past on one occasion and neither Kail or I want any sort of problems in the community or past tensions to arise.

I hope we can all make amends and come together peacefully. Runescape really is awesome when we do. I am willing to fulfill any reasonable request, as is Kail and we're really looking forward to work together to re-establish an awesome active community like we once had.

So to summarize, we will be merging Clan Chats in order to expand the Runescape-Gaia community and create an awesome atmosphere to be in. Guilds and Friends Chats will remain untouched.

P.S: If you are already part of a Clan which you really do not want to leave, you can join us as guests like mentioned before. Also, if you'd like an invite, please contact Kail or I who will make arrangements to invite you ASAP.

P.P.S: Openly speaking, if any of you feel like you have any unresolved issues with me or anybody else in the Clan, please, lets work it out. Lets PM each other and come to some sort of resolution. I know I've been immature in the past with regards to approaches I made toward certain people, and I am apologetic for the approaches I took. Kail and I both feel that it's really time to clear the air and come together peacefully again and just enjoy ourselves. I mean, if not, what is Runescape really about :/?

I'm still interested in being a part of things.
