Sen suddenly heard a knock at the door and said, "Wonder who that could be." Sen telepathically scanned the outside and said, "Hotaru, looks like your brother is here, along with some friends. Mind getting the door for me?" Sen walked away into the hallway leaving Hotaru by herself. Rokruo waited outside impatiently with the rest for someone to open the door.

Hotaru hurried to the door in order to let her brother inside, an onslaught of questions buzzing through her head. For starters, who were the "friends who were accompanying her brother? Second, why was Kurayami back so soon? The questions were answered as soon as she hesitantly opened the door. Standing in the doorway was her brother, along with three other people who she had never met before. One of the people was carrying Eien in his arms. "Kurayami! What happened? Why is Eien-kun unconscious?" Hotaru blurted out. She turned to face the hallway, and called out for Sen. "Sen-chan! It's Eien-kun! I think he needs help!"Kurayami didn't say a word in response to his sister's question, as he really didn't know how to answer the question himself. All he did was shrug at his sister. Finally, he responded, "I don't really know how to explain it, Hotaru," in a solemn voice, "You should ask these guys here if you want the answers. By the way, Hotaru, these are Zange-kun, Haruta-chan, and Rokuro-kun. Everyone, this is my little sister, Hotaru." After he concluded the introduction, Kurayami had to lean on the house in order to keep from collapsing. He was still exhausted from trying to subdue Eien, and desperately needed to rest some more.

Kurayami laughed weakly at Sen's question. "Honestly, I've had better days, but I'll be fine," he replied, trying to reassure his friend and teacher that he was fine. Kurayami even tried to walk inside by himself, but as soon as he entered the door, he practically fell on top of Sen. HE tried to get up off of the floor, but found himself unable to. Completely immobile, Kurayami tried to think of anything more that he could say to Sen, but all that he could manage was, "I'm sorry, Sen-san." He found to his dismay that he was so drained that he wasn't even able to raise one of his fingers for a while. "Could you please take me to the couch or something, Sen-san? I honestly cannot get up," he asked, his face turning red out of embarrassment, "Also, can you explain to me what happened? Eien tried to kill me in my sleep, and Zange didn't explain it to me in terms that I understood."Meanwhile, Hotaru still remained at the door with Zange and Karuta. "It's nice to meet you, too," she replied meekly. Hotaru gestured towards the door that Rokuro had entered with Eien. "What happened? Why is Eien unconscious and why is my brother exhausted?" she asked in a voice that was abnormally loud for the usually soft-spoken girl. Realizing her outburst, Hotaru quickly responded by saying, "I'm sorry, Zange-san and Karuta-san. I didn't mean to snap. I just..." She stopped speaking for a moment, then continued, saying, "I just want my brother to be all right." She sighed, then slowly walked into the dining room and sat down in a chair.

"You can tell me the longer version, Sen-chan. After all, it's not like I can go anywhere," Kurayami said with a slight laugh, "As long as I can understand why Eien suddenly tried to kill me." He looked at his teacher as she started to tell the story.Hotaru, who overheard her brother say that Eien tried to kill him, decided to walk into the room with Sen and Kurayami. She rushed over to her brother's side to hear what Sen had to say.

"Alright then.. Where to start....... Ok, it was just another trip to Psyren, nothing special, just the occasional Tavoo. It was me, Rokuro and Eien. We were on our way to the gate when suddenly we were swarmed by fifty Tavoo and two Star Commanders. They were actually twin Star Commanders. I engaged the Star Commanders with Rokuro, and left Eiento fight the Tavoo. And don't be like like, 'oh, why did you leave Eien alone!?' Because Eien could handle himself against Tavoo. Actually I must say it was unfair to the Tavoo to put Eien up against them. Anyways, Eien was a monster fighting the Tavoo, killing them mercilessly no matter how loud they screamed. Then at one point Eien stood completely still. Then both of his blue eyes began to glow red....." Sen stopped talking and seemed to be lost in memory. Her eyes got wide and then she screamed. She fell onto her hands and knees and said, "That's not Eien, that's not Eien, that's not Eien......"

"Come on. I don't think that Eien can't handle himself. I had to fight against him, remember?" Kurayami responded. He noticed the panicked look on Sen's face, and she seemed to be lost in a vivid flashback. "Sen-chan? Snap out of it! It's only a memory!" Kurayami shouted in an attempt to bring his teacher back to reality. However, no matter how much he tried, Kurayami was unable to make Sen snap out of her nightmare.Hotaru tried to help her brother by joining in with his efforts. "Sen-san! Wake up!" she cried, but to no avail. Hotaru's common sense abandoned her, and she decided to approach her psi teacher. Hotaru placed her hand on Sen's shoulder. "Sen-san? Are you OK?" she asked. Hotaru managed to keep her voice calm, despite being completely prepared for her teacher to become startled and attack her.

Sen snapped back to reality and said, "Kuro came out. Kuro is extremely aggressive and sadistic. He killed all of the Tavoo, and would have moved on to the Star Commanders if they hadn't escaped just in time." Sen paused before saying what she had to say next, "...... Kuro is sexually aggressive as well...... After he killed everyone, he attacked me and Rokuro... He knocked us both unconscious. When I woke up I was naked and so was Rokuro, who was laying next to me............ Kuro stood over us in a cocky way..... He told us he raped both of us........ Kurayami, I'm surprised he didn't try anything on you....." Sen stopped talking. She hated that memory...... She hated Kuro. She hated that Kuro lived in the body of the boy she loved. "I kept calling him Eien... Until he explained that he is a seperate being from Eien.... That his true name was Kuro..... After that day one of his eyes remained red to show that Kuro is always there......"

Kurayami closed his eyes. "You don't need to tell me anymore, Sen-san. Since it's clear this memory is painful for you to recall, I don't need you to tell me anymore," he said in a comforting tone, "Personally, I'm glad he didn't try to do what he did to you on me, as I'm not sure I could've held him off. But I feel sorry for what happened to you, Sen-san. From what you say, Kuro disgusts me. Is there a way to permanently seal him away?" Kurayami asked this because he didn't want anyone else to fall victim to Kuro's bloodlust. If there was any way to help to get rid of the monstrosity that lived within Eien, other than killing his friend, Kurayami would help Sen and the others to do it.
Hotaru was terrified by Sen's story. "That's awful!" she chimed in. She walked over to where Sen sat, and embraced her. Hotaru could see how disturbed Sen was by this memory, as well, and wanted her to feel as if she was among friens, which she was. She also felt concern for Kurayami, as he could have been almost raped by the horrid consciousness that Sen had described. As a result, Hotaru wanted to get rid of Kuro as well.

Rokruo came out of the room reattaching his eye patch and said, "There is no way that I know to permanently seal Kuro. Maybe if we could separate them we could kill Kuro with no harm to Eien." Rokruo walked towards Sen and said, "The sealing is done." Then suddenly Eien came stumbling out of the room and said, "Kurayami-kun! Are... Are you ok?" Eien fell to the ground but was able to push himself up onto his hands and knees, "Please tell me I didn't kill anyone..... Or do anything else to anyone." Rokuro walked over and helped Eien to his feet. "You are to weak Eien-sama. Please rest, Kuro overdid it in your body," Rokuro said softly. Rokruo hoped no one else could see it be he was shaking. Sealing away Kuro was hard enough, but the memories of what happened to him the day Kuro came out were even more painful.

Kurayami smiled reassuringly at his friend. "Don't worry, Eien. I'm fine. I managed to distract that man, and I guess we both ended up overdoing it," he said with a slight laugh. "In any case, what we should be asking is if we could stay with you and Hotaru tonight, Sen-chan. After all, it would be best if we had more people to watch us, and we can't exactly walk home in our current condition." Asking this question sort of made Kurayami uncomfortable, as he didn't want to inconvenience Sen or his sister.
