Accepting the permission, Bob cautiously stretched his hand over to the small animal and gently ran his fingers down it's back several times. It felt surprisingly warm. As it arched it's little body up towards his fingers on each stroke he couldn't help but find it adorable.

After completing the petting cycle he noted Bobby's question. "I guess this is all I do. We're never closed, and though it might be empty from time to time, never quite knowing who or what might stop in next keeps things interesting." Nodding he thought back to some of the odder entities that he'd had the opportunity to meet. "As for a home, I guess the tavern is my home, I've never been anywhere else before."

Thinking back to petting Mr. Snuggles he moved over to the sink and began to wash his hands. He couldn't very well continue to serve people things after having touched an animal without a good scrubbing.

Annie stumbled in the rain, it was pouring down. He would have to look for a store that he could duck into soon. Otherwise he might get sick, and being homeless and sick would be bad. Shaking his red hair out even as it got soaked. He was down an ally when a bar sign and over hang looked just perfect. Long legs moved him to the door, brown eyes looking through the dirty window only a moment before pushing into the bar.

Seeing how empty it was Annie walked up to the bar, after shaking off most of the water.

“I just want to wait out the rain, if its not too much trouble?” Annie asked as he sat hard on a stool.

Listening to Bob talk, Aeron barely noticed the man who had just walked into the tavern. Turning as the door slammed shut, he blinked at the other's appearance before deciding that it had nothing to do with him. Instead, he leaned over to pet Mr. Snuggles, smiling softly when the little thing padded over to purr in contentment as it curled up against Aeron's hand.

Aeron, in the meanwhile, processed Bob's statement in his head. "Does that mean that you never leave...?" He asked quietly in a murmur. "Does that mean that we cannot leave?" Aeron added a bit stronger, looking up at the mysterious bartender with a contemplative frown on his face.

Stepping away from the sink to dry his hands, an eyebrow raised at the sudden question from Aeron. "Well, it's true that I'm unable to leave, I don't really mind too much." Pausing briefly, he noted Aeron's frown. Smirking he decided to tease the terribly rigid looking man for thinking such paranoid thoughts. "You'd expect more people to have accumulated here if they were unable to leave though, I wonder what could have happened to them...?"

Allowing the words to trail off mysteriously so that Aeron might draw his own implications, he grabbed a small towel from under the counter and held it out to the soaked newcomer to dry off with. "Hey there, you're welcome to stay, can I get you anything to drink?"

Aeron said nothing to the cryptic man, choosing instead to glare and pout ever so slightly as he held Mr. Snuggles closer to him. He was being teased, he just knew it. But he truly never got his question answered. Sighing in irritation, he scratched a sleepy Mr. Snuggles behind the ears before relaxing on his stool. It wasn't like he was needed elsewhere or whatever, so there was no rush. Still though, he thought to himself, there were a lot of unanswered questions in his mind that needed some answers. Starting with the man who had just walked in soaking wet from rain...?

Aeron couldn't remember the last time he felt rain on his skin. Trips down to Earth were rare and expensive, so no one but businessmen and the occasional material spaceship would travel there. He had gone when he was very young, but the memory was so vague that it was just a string of small clippings of moments that he barely remembered.

Turning to the man, he stared at him contemplatively. "You had said something about rain?" He asked, managing to sound curious but not obviously so, "Were you on Earth for a vacation of some sort?" He asked the last question because that was Earth was nowadays, a very expensive vacation spot.

Annie stared that the group in confusion, turned to where the murky windows should be. Confused as to where the windows went filled him. He couldn't even hear the rain anymore.

"I'll, just have -- water's free right?" He lean nervously on the bar top. His red hair was pasted to his head and his clothes were soaked. He turned to Aeron and watch the man and cat for a moment before his full question registered.

"Of course I was on Earth, no vacation being homeless, but where else could I live but on earth?" Annie asked confused and worried that he come into some sort of drug den.

((sorry about the confused, didn't realized there were no windows ))

Bobby watch the men in confusion and raised an eyebrow at the bartender. "I'm out numbered..." She hurrumphed and rubbed her nose looking the new comer over. "I also have a feeling none of ya'll are from Daltiralan or Kroskin... which means.... well I don't know what that means....." Slapping her hand against the counter top she grinned. "I'm Bobby by the way-" She waved at the redhead.

"Dalti-what?" Aeron asked, his eyes showing his surprise even if it didn't reach his voice. "None of you are from the Moon Civilization? The Lunar C, base 18?" He looked away before looking up at Bob, eyes narrowing. "What is this place?" He asked the bartender accusingly, "If I walk out of those doors, I should be on Base 18, right?

Annie stared at the group. Nervous but not willing to get stuck out in the rain, he stayed in the bar. They were strange but seemed nice or at least unlikely to attack him. Unlike the night before, in which he lost his bag.

"Lunar C base 18? what?" He moved closer to Bobby. " I'm Anargyros, but you can call me Annie"

Smiling at the waterlogged boy, Bobby held her hand out to him to shake. "Annie, huh? interesting name! But I'm not one to judge." She tilted around him to look at the man Aeron and frown. "Settle down there, cowboy." She crooned trying to soothing the agitated atmosphere. "Couldn't you tell by the way we're dressed we aren't from... Lunar C base?"

The order seemed a little ironic coming from a soaked person, but Bob shrugged and produced a glass of ice water for him. "Here you go, one water. If you'd like anything else just speak up." Setting the glass down with a smile he moved back over to Aeron.

Considering Aeron's question carefully, he decided it might be best to remain somewhat vague about what the tavern actually was, he certainly didn't want him to panic. "Like I said before, this is just a tavern, we just happen to be conveniently accessible...from many locations. The details really aren't relevant. I can assure you that all patrons make it back to their desired location without incident." Putting on a smile he nodded reassuringly. "Well there was this one time.." Bob stopped himself and frowned, realizing the story wouldn't help Aeron feel better. "Well that's not important, I'm positive you won't encounter any problems, don't worry about it."

Looking at the one named Bobby, Aeron merely shrugged. "There are some strange people on Lunar C, I think they call it cosplay or something," he frowned, "I can't be sure because I never got into it so..."

Hearing the bartender's words, Aeron could only sigh, running a hand through his hair. Maybe it was time to leave, he thought to himself, but then again, what was he going to do at home anyways? He finished all of his homework for his academy classes so all he was going to end up doing was sleep again. Mr. Snuggled meowed from where he was situated comfortably in Aeron's shirt, and the male smiled reassuringly down at the small thing. "I'll take your word for it then," he sighed, "in the meantime, can I have something strong to drink?"

The order was a little vague but Bob accepted with a nod. "Sure thing." Grabbing a small glass from under the counter he dropped in a couple ice cubes and poured some scotch over it. It was his second choice, but he felt departing from native earth spirits might be a poor idea, considering the previous conversation. Setting the drink in front of Aeron with a smile, he hoped the choice would be acceptable. "Enjoy."

Picking up the now empty bowl and pitcher, he took them over to the sink to be washed. "Would anyone else like something?" Bob glanced curiously at Bobby and Annie while he cleaned the dishes.

Annie looked around still nervous. He was starving he hadn't eaten anything in about a week, well nothing he want to eat more of. Living on the streets was hard, his stomach growled at him. He leaned forward closer to the bartender.

"Do--Do you got any bar snacks?" he asked looking at the bartender but still watching the others.

Bobby drummed her fingers against the counter and shrugged her shoulders. "A pangalactic gargle blaster!" She joked laughing softly and jumping up. "I'm good but thanks for the offer..." Sauntering over to the jukebox she looked it up and down and started fiddling with the buttons to figure out how it worked.
