xxx xxx Rani && Jordan && IsannaIsanna had snuck away from her nidorina friend and started observing the party, taking interest in investigating how the other pokemon acted in such a situation and with friends, new and old. Such as one, who was dark gray and orange (It took her a minute to recognize its species. A growlithe, perhaps?), he had quite the childish instinct to attack the helpless cupcake before him. There was also another pokemon that intrigued her, a bright colored vespiquen who had an accent unknown to her. The poochyena had caught some foreign words she said, but had no idea what it meant. She decided she wanted to find out. The small dog padded up to the bug type. "Excuse me." she called up to stranger, having to crane her neck up get a full glimpse of her face. "I couldn't help but notice what you said to yourself, 'Eeee-toe leh-yu-bofv'?" she smiled a bit at her quick, but horrible rendition. "But I'm curious, what does that mean? And It doesn't sound like anything from around here..." The poochyena noted as light purple stripes instead of yellow, and green textures throughout. There were also patterns on her wings, reminding Isanna of clouds. Odd, very odd, but... not necessarily in a bad way. She liked it.
Jordan scrambled up to put his front paws on the table, his hind on the ground to keep him standing up. Alright, he could do this. It wouldn't be too hard at all. Ever-so-carefully, with tongue sticking out the side to only demonstrate his extreme concentration, he picked up a small cup off a stack with both of his paws. "Come on..." he muttered to himself as he gently lifted the cup up away from the others. It took a few moments, but eventually he succeeded in his mission of setting it down right-side-up on the table. "I did it!" he barked happily, throwing his paws up in the air in a touch-down pose. He let out a childish laugh as he got back down on all fours. Not the greatest victory, at least, not for others. Arceus knew how many poor glasses had been broken by him trying to get a cup down from the cupboard. He had poor handling and this was a huge victory. In mist of his strange celebration, he had not given notice to the sneasel behind him, though, even if he wasn't preoccupied, he probably wouldn't have given notice anyways. The jolteon was bright when he wanted to be, but wouldn't notice unless it was blank in front of him. The perfect way to catch his attention, a sandshrew just walked right up to him and stared him in the face before turning around and sitting down... staring at the wall? "Um... hi?" he had said awkwardly before she had begun her search for the shadow. Jordan abandoned his cup momentarily, walking over and prodding the sandshrew with a paw, sending a little jolt along with it to help grab her attention, though being a ground-type it'd maybe only tickle a bit. "What are you staring at?" He leaned in close to try to get in her line of sight, though he saw nothing.

   Harumi - Victor - Aiden
The tinted Umbreon raised an eyebrow as he looked up at and listened to his Mismagius counterpart speak. What's this? The type of recognition he so richly deserved?~ When Eros spoke his last line, the Umbreon's lips curled upwards into a sly smirk, his teeth and canine fangs being shone in the light. "Jeez buddy, I know I'm good looking, but I think Pokemon around here are much too refined to ever be 'all over me,' as you say," The Umbreon purred as he stood to his feet. The Dark vulpine arched his back a bit as he stretched his body, glancing back up at Eros with an evil smirk. "Dunno about you, though. What's stopping you from jumping on me, huh?~"
Victor let out a very soft sigh, but kept it to himself. He knew his primary job here was to keep an eye on Harumi and Aiden, make sure they didn't get into any trouble, as well as protect them should any trouble arise on its own. However, it was a holiday. It would have been nice for the Scyther to have a day off, even though he knew it was out of the question. To Victor, just having someone to talk to would have been nice.
The small black-furred Eevee let out a small sigh at what her sister had pointed out. "No, my entire team brought me," She muttered. "Apparently mom and dad wanted me to come and 'mingle.' Victor caught wind of it and made me come..." The small Eevee sighed and shook her head. "Aiden would eat the gag if it meant being able to talk again. Or hell, maybe he'd like wearing it, that weirdo..." Harumi leaned in close to Skye's face, squinting her eyes as she was about to imprint such wisdom upon her sister like none other before her. "Stay away from him, Skye," She said intently.
As she began to lean back, the Eevee was suddenly thrown a bit off guard by sudden taps on her shoulder. Looking around, she was met with a pair of cold yellow eyes belonging to the sleek black body of a Sneasel. He seemed a bit lanky to Harumi, like he was something whose arse she could wipe up and down this place's floor. "Uuuh... Can I help you, dude?" The tomboy Eevee asked, cocking her eyebrow as she looked into those seemingly empty eyes. Slowly, Harumi found herself unable to blink. She was going to win this staring contest if it killed her.

Soul xxxSkimbleshanksSoul huffed and scoffed, the cupcake had been dangerous. To his weight, of course. Cupcakes were not included in the dietary routine of a warrior, and it would do Soul no good to gain flabby fat or become less agile. Although the brute did not put his faith in stealth, fat would still weigh him down and make it harder to rely on strength in general. Plus he knew his partner was twiggy in his ways in and in his size, and it would not help to stand next to him trying to work off the weight. He'd appear quite larger in comparison. Agh, what was he, a girl? Oh. Girl. His eyes fixed on the strange girl that was talking to him. What type of Pokemon was this before him? He had seen nothing like it before. "You should be thanking me for destroying it for you. It could have done some serious bodily harm. The others ones appear to be safe, if you so dare to eat them." Although Soul had been trying to be social, he hadn't even considered a girl coming up to him. He had no jacket to take off and lay out before the female. In fact, he had no clothes at all. Like his partner, he was being quite rude without meaning too. Skimbleshanks' posture resembled a Sableye, almost. The eyes only wavered when the pink princess addressed Skimble, and only to give a quick look see. The eyes quickly returned, large and unblinking, back onto the form of a rather ticked off princess. "You assume I am a dude, as a princess you should not be so crude. It would not do, to start up a feud. Please, tell me, how a princess like you is not surrounded by some sort of crew?" Skimble, although unaware of the staring contest, never blinked. Too curious was Skimble to blink, surprised by the company of royalty. To small a moment to worry about fickle things. Things could go by in a blink of the eye, and Skimble was too superstitious as a habit. Although Skimble tended to enjoy twisting around cliche's. In Skimble's mind, the skitty killed curiosity. It was easy to kill curiosity, all you had to do was find the answer. But Skimble knew curiosity wasn't going to go out and murder skittys.

Team Lorelei Amy giggled at his answer, taking it for a joke. "I've already eaten one, but thanks, all the same." She nodded at him, introducing herself. "I'm Amelia, though most just call me Amy. And you are...?" She greeted, then asked, tilting her head to the side.

Erinn & Sereni & Rivia & Riley & Faran & Celus & Eon & Irilyss Rivia looked up in surprise at the voice of the Jolteon. Although she'd approached him, the Sandshrew hadn't expected any sort of reaction. She was still young after all, and didn't entirely think things through when she acted on them. She blinked as she registered his touch and something sort of tingly nearby her tail and turned from her vigilant post to rest intelligent but childish eyes upon the Electric Type. Rivia cocked her head at his question as though she didn't quite understand what he was saying, but then she turned around and pointed toward the wall with an intent stare, only to realize that the weird shadow didn't seem to be there anymore. Baffled by its disappearance, she turned back to the Jolteon and looked at him accusingly as though she believed it to be his fault that her object of interest had vanished. The youngling looked at the Eeveelution for a long moment in silence, before she caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye and turned to find the shadow-or rather, not-shadow-beside a pair of Eevee. Well, that was interesting. It seemed that the shadow liked those of the Eevee line. Rising to four paws, Rivia raised one of them and tugged on the Jolteon's fur gently to get his attention, pointing to the not-shadow. Without speaking a word, she began to walk toward the group of three, but she looked back now and again as though she expected the Electric Type to follow. When she arrived there herself, the girl rocked back and forth on her paws and waited for a break in their conversation, recieving it after the not-shadow spoke. With a breath, she reached up to paw at the feathers on the Sneasel's tail, thoroughly curious as to what exactly this not-shadow was.
Celus stood off to the side of the party, taking in the enjoyment of the younger Pokemon with a smile on his face. There were some moments in life that were worth savoring and to see the joy that holidays inspired was certainly something of that level. The Ivysaur's attention was drawn to another partygoer who seemed somewhat out of his element, a Scyther who wasn't participating in the events but rather seemed like he was here on some sort of business. It was Celus' opinion that no one should have to spend the holidays without some company, and so he made his was over to the monochrome Scyther with an cordial smile on his face. "Good evening," he greeted the Bug Type, "Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought I sensed a fellow chaperone in you." After all, the Ivysaur himself was getting on in years and didn't really have the high energy required to participate in a party such as this, so he took it upon himself to look after the younger members of the Team since neither of its Leaders were present. "My name's Celus, by the way," he continued, in hopes that he may manage to strike up a conversation.
Irilyss didn't look up from her idle tracing of the heart until the Larvitar was quite near; it wasn't out of rudeness, but rather she'd been so absorbed in her thoughts that she simply hadn't noticed the other Pokemon. He didn't necessarily look as though he wanted to talk, but it was the polite thing to show some reaction to his arrival so the Gardevoir nodded in greeting. "A pleasant evening to you," she said quietly, a sort of lilt to her voice that bespoke of her preoccupied thoughts, though that was an obvious fact to very few. She touched her hand to the side of the heart she'd been tracing and let it run down the red paper, watching as the thin substance smoothed beneath her fingers. She was still attentive to anything that the Larvitar may say, her eyes coming to rest on the other Pokemon after a final, lingering look at the heart. He looked thoroughly normal for his species, but appearances could be decieving. Sometimes the most extraordinary of people came from ordinary figures, her thoughts flitting eagerly to a few Pokemon in particular who fit that description. And yet...sometimes there were appearances that were different which held the most peculiar of characters beneath their varied shades. A book couldn't be judged by it's cover...except when it could be.((Besides these three the others are all still free for interactions))

Eros + Nephthys + Isis Nephthys sipped some punch before noticing a white Poochyena speak to her, "Hm?" At the mangled pronunciation she gave a soft smile, "It's Eto lyubov' my varling~" She then smiled, "As vor what it means...I suppose the most direct vorm vould be 'vhis is love' or something of the sort." Nephthys then sipped some more punch, "It's the language of a far off place."
Eros blushed before shaking it off somewhat, "Ah? Too refined hm? ....A shame really~" He truly had no idea where this new-found...sultryness? Came from but, it wasn't so bad~ The Mismagius shivered somewhat at the Umbreon's smirk, "The only thing stopping me from jumping on you would probably be too many people?" Eros then blushed heavily at that, "...Erm...Though whether I can jump anyone is...up for debate." He then thought for a moment, "I'm probably jumpable though..." He liked this confidence~
Isis meanwhile had excused herself from the conversation as soon as it turned to...jumping on others. Ugh, great now her leader found a way to flirt. Evolution sure did wonders... Walking around the place the green-haired Jynx had grown bored with the festivities, sure there was tons of Pokemon to talk too...but she didn't know who to pick, maybe she should just sit back and read a book? Isis brought one after all~ Glancing around she shrugged and sat at a nearby table, propping open a trashy romance novel.

Beatrice - EmilyBeatrice sighed. The punch was invigorating, so she drank some more. She turned to the Machop. "Did you know that coffee is 57% backwash?" The Ralts nodded. Beatrice was veeeeeery serious about drinks, seeing as how she needed them to live. She was also very serious about cannibals, but thats another story for another time. Emily nodded and breathed a sigh of relief as the Treecko told her that he was unharmed. "No, no, you weren't in my way. I simply was being careless and almost injured myself and you. Its my fault." Upon the Treecko's question, Emily's face contorted into a face that was a mixture of sympathy, confusion, and a smirk. As she motioned around at all the hearts and pink stuff she spoke. "Its a Valentines Party. Its like, a day to celebrate being in love. Its sort of akward if you ask me." One of the reasons Emily though it akward was that she stood out like a blazing blue fire amongst all the pink and red. She noted the Treecko's posture change. It was almost as if he was trying to avart attention from his arm.... "Are you sure you're ok? You really shouldn't be coming to a party with an injured arm."

Hiro's eye twitched cutely at the backwash comment. This guy loved coffee for one thing so he drank a lot of it. Which meant he also drank a lot of backwash. "That's troubling." Hiro said, now thinking of all of the times he had drunk coffee. Too much but it still wasn't enough. "Coffee is my favorite drink. So does whether you like it black or all sugary and milky change that?" he asked her as he hoped the milk added some of the percentage. He like his coffee black with maybe some sugar if he felt like a sweet tooth and if he wasn't going to do his daily morning jog. This of course meant only once a year or so. Machops tend to never, not exercise. Of course there was the occasional Focus Blast weirdo but eh, whatcha gonna do?

xxx xxx Rani && Jordan && IsannaThe dark type threw herself on her hind legs, gripping the table with her front paws to stand up, only to try to get a better look at the vespiquen. "Eto lyubov'..." she repeated softly, with better pronunciation. She glanced at the table before her. "It sounds so pretty." Isanna tilted her head sideways out of habit curiously. "Can you tell me what the name of it is? That is, if you have the time to answer, of course." Isanna prodded the table in front of her with only half a mind. She didn't mean to bother the stranger too bad, but if the language was from a place she hadn't heard of, she'd loved to hear all of about it. She was an information nerd; a queen of useless knowledge. It allowed her to be a trivial show-off, not only that, but to use different legends and know-how to come up with strange stories that amused her, like her legend of the birth of Valentines she had told to her Jolteon friend when they had first walked in.
Meanwhile, Jordan was shooting the sandshrew quite the awkward look. "Don't look at me like that! I didn't do anything!" The jolteon looked down at the ground-type as though she were a little undone. He was honestly a little shocked when the young pokemon had stood back up again and looked right at him. When he had first approached her, she had seemed almost in a trance-like state, fixated on that wall. When she had returned to her position, it was as if all of a sudden there was something different about that wall, since she shot (what seemed to Jordan) him quite the irritated look. He didn't do anything to her wall, thank you! Finally, he caught on, catching sight of the sneasel across the room. Is that was she was staring at? - but then, how did he not see them before? He shrugged and padded after the sandshrew, cautiously and respectively staying a few feet behind her, pausing every time she turned to look back at him. "I'm coming..." he muttered and repeated under his breathe. The jolteon watched as she began to tug at the pokemon's feathers and smiled with amusement, that was a little rude, wasn't it? Though, not that he thought about it, this pokemon didn't seem to be all that old, and she probably didn't know any better. "Is this what you were staring at?" he asked with a kind smile, getting down to her eye level and glancing up at the dark-type and then turning his head to that certain area of wall from before. "A sneasel?" He stayed out of the inner ring, only noticing the other pokemon standing around a few seconds later. Two eevees, most notably.

SkyeSkye twitched an ear back. "I really doubt he'd try anything with me, Haru. I'm not exactly bombshell material," muttered the older sister in reply. "Besides, I'm his captain's sister. He'd probably fear for his life if he tried." Like most. Skye was still young, and on top of that, her rank and companions made her pretty unapproachable. She was just here to pass time, now that she thought about it. She didn't really know anyone, other than her sister.
She glanced over at the Sneasel beside her, suddenly alarmed by the voice of the sleek-furred Ice-type. They were a little lanky, and the face was difficult to determine a gender from. Even their voice was fairly ambiguous, but they were also in a crowded room, full of loud-speaking people.
Skye held out a cautious paw in greeting; an offer to shake hands. "I'm Skye of Team Stormcloud. This is my sister, Harumi of Team Dropkick," she added, introducing both herself and her sibling to the unusual Sneasel. The added presence of a young Sandshrew and a rather tough-looking Jolteon was a surprise, as the elder of the two Eevee hadn't even heard them approach. She jumped a little, looking back at the Jolteon. He certainly had unusual markings, even if they happened to be much less noticeable then the ones passed through her own bloodline.
"Hello there," she greeted a second time, a little caught off guard by the curiousity of the guild members present. She wasn't entirely sure what everyone was doing, or what the draw was in her sister and herself. More likely than not, it was a fascination with the Sneasel as well.

    Harumi - Victor - Aiden - Tammet
The Umbreon's eyebrows wiggled a bit as he listened to the Mismagius speak. Dang, evolution had changed the guy a bit, that was for certain. "Heh... Someone's getting used to evolving," Aiden said, twisting his body a bit to crack a few vertebrae in his back. "Though I guess you're right, you probably can't jump on anybody." What was the Umbreon's reasoning behind this assumption? "You're a ghost, you'd just fall through!" Genius assumption, the gold medal in biochemistry goes to Aiden Stryker.
Victor blinked as he heard a voice greet him nearby. He turned his grey head, looking down at the Ivysaur near him. "Good evening, sir!" The natural servant replied, bowing his head. "Yes, I am looking over a couple of trouble makers here, as well. My name is Victor Lynch, it's a pleasure to meet you sir~" Victor was grateful just to have someone to talk to. Even though he was born and raised into servitude, he still got bored of just serving Harumi and her family.
Harumi squinted her eyes a bit, still not blinking as she stared at the Sneasel before her and listened to him speak. Great, she was hearing it again, even from this weirdo. "You should act more like a princess, blah blah blah!" "I'll act the way I want to act, thank you very much. I don't need a little Sneasel who I hardly know coming and judging me based on my family's royal status." That was probably the most intelligent sounding thing Harumi said in her entire life. It was mostly because this response was 100% unoriginal and rehearsed. She had read it in a book, memorized the line, and now she was going to use it whenever someone told her to act more royal. "I don't need an entourage, because I can take care of myself. Someone who just relies on body guards all the time is just weak." The Eevee's eyes then glanced back to Victor, whom she had recently dubbed as "useless." She didn't need Victor, he was just there to be her wingman. Nothing more.
The young female Eevee then glanced back to her sister, who was explaining why she thought Aiden wouldn't go after her. "Trust me, Skye. He's gonna be watching you. As soon as you evolve, he'll be all over you. If I evolve, I'm gonna have to watch my back, too." The Eevee said "if," even though she was already set up to be able to evolve whenever she wanted. The truth was, the young Eevee was rather scared of evolving. She didn't know what such a drastic change would be like, and it scared her. Sure, she wanted to be stronger, but at what cost? Changing her very physical form?
Que the dramatic music, because it was time for a pantslizard to arrive. As Tammet entered the room, he was staring down at his feet. He was counting his own footsteps, a new thing to count recently that he took great joy in. "Hunnid an' five, hunnid an' six...~" The Scraggy sang to himself, happy to have made such a great discovery. He had no clue where he was or what kind of celebration he was suddenly involved in, he was far too interested in his feet. Sadly, he was too interested in his feet to know where he was going. A few steps later, he clobbered right into a Treecko. The collision caused Tammet to flop over on his back and stare at the ceiling with a rather empty expression. He'd lost count of his footsteps...

Eros + Nephthys + Isis Eros felt his face heat up at the used to evolution comment, "We-well...It has it's umm..perks." He did notice the confidence boost romance wise, "True..." The Mismagius then paused for a moment before grinning, "Though....I can turn solid enough for physical activity if it's exciting enough...~" He finished with a giggle and a suggestive look at the Umbreon.
Isis just flipped to another page in her novel, before slipping a bookmark in-between the pages as she got up, adjusted her corset, it really sucked to have large breasts sometimes after all, then walked lazily over to the food stand. This place had to have some good food...that hopefully wasn't pink.
Nephthys smiled at the much improved pronunciation, "Da, vat's much better." The Vespiquen them smiled, "It can be very pretty..." At the question of the language name Nephthys smiled, someone was interested in this? That was a first, "Vell...the vanguage is Snowpointian. It's from a var off land that my ancestors were from." Nephthys then gave a soft smile as she buzzed down to take a sitting position on a nearby chair, "If you'd vike to know anything else...feel free to ask, Dorogaya~"

~Eden
"Well that's just great. Explains the less than appealing turnout." Eden responded with a sneer directed more towards the crowds around him rather than the Ratatta he was holding conversation with; she seemed down to earth, nice enough to at least share a few words with. As for the rest in attendance, well, they were just assumed helpless romantics unless they proved themselves otherwise. The Treecko found himself at that age where the opposite gender was tolerable, but nothing sought out; the lovey-dovey scenery with bright reds and pinks strewn about hardly doing anything for him accordingly. "I'm fine though. Really. Just not sure how much longer I want to stick around here; my team might want me back in soon." He was already speaking more than what was normally comfortable for him, but in this case it seemed well worth the effort on his end as he groped for excuses to leave. He was practically breaking a sweat at this point just trying to collect himself in words enough to share light conversation. As kind and concerned as she was, he knew well enough that if he stuck around for any longer, he'd only end up making an idiot out of himself. This was the way things were. Social interactions were purely a conscious effort for him; he had no natural skills. Accordingly, this scenario at hand would be comparable to an untrained athlete having already run out of energy long before he reached any sort of finish line. "I-I'll see you around." He sputtered out like a broken faucet leaking cliche words, not even bothering to about face as he tried his best to casually escape the so called party. This much would turn out to be a regrettable mistake as an unexpected movement underfoot tripped him up causing him to take a backwards tip himself, ending up sprawled out on his back next to his attacker. He didn't even show enough effort to look and see what exactly he knocked into even though he heard a thud at his side simultaneous to his own fall. At this moment, the young Treecko just wished that someone would come by and finish him off, stomp him into the ground.

Alex tilted his head slightly at her actions, as he got right to the point. "I couldn't help but notice you tracing hearts on the wall here. I truly don't mean to pry, buy may I ask why your doing it?" He questioned, maintaining his air of aloofness. As per usual, he hadn't much to say, but his words made up for it in droves, quantity for quality. As he waited for her answer, he slowly looked around; the room seemed to have filled out somewhat since he'd stopped observing. Suddenly, he stopped, forcing his hand firmly to his side. He'd been absently tracing his scar with one hand while he was looking about, a habit he thought he'd broken himself of. He prayed the Gardevoir hadn't noticed, and tried his best to look as he did before.
