Danny was actually surprised. The ghoul had been here a lot longer than she thought! Why, she wasn't new at all. Guess it just goes to show how big Amityville was. Then again, King had been new, and she had just found out about that.

Her answer was a bit more clouded. "Errr. I just sort of ... did?" Everybody went to high school at some point, and Amityville had just been ... well her choice? Her parents had payed for everything, so there'd been no problems there... Quite frankly, Danny didn't really have a special reason.

She was about to ask the ghoul something when a naughty little gnome came and KICKED HER IN THE SHINS. Danny hissed with pain and grabbed her shins. "OW," she said scornfully in the gnome's direction. She might've gotten up and kicked the thing's a** if her shins weren't in pain. Instead of a boring question like she'd intended earlier, she said, "How good are you in a fight?"

Danny nodded at the ghoul slowly, her shin feeling better already. It didn't hurt that much really, it was more just the shock of it all. The ghoul was asking about a demonstration and-

Danny stood up off her chair and was prepared to grab the leg that was stretched towards her when the leg ... disappeared. Suddenly the ghoul was twice as close as Danny thought she was, and there was a fist in her face. Danny was knocked back a couple of feet onto the ground, a redder patch of skin now spreading across her face. She moved her jaw around a bit, but was smiling. "That was cool! You were supposed to hit the gnome though!" She said, leaning up on one arm, and pointing to gnome with the other.

Still, how had she done that super cool moving thingy? That was jackin' sweet! "Where'd you learn to do that ... thingy?" she asked, excitedly, already standing back up. Taking a more defensive stance, Danny was incredibly glad she'd worn her converse today. Have you ever tried fighting in heels?

Shins were tricky that way. The kind of pain that really stung, even though it was a pathetic injury. Amarus loathed that kind of pain-- useless, undeserving. Amarus noted Danny's reflexes, as promised: good, good, on the ball. It was entirely possible that without the extra burst of speed, she'd never have accomplished what she did. Amarus bowed to Danny, and then looked up at her with confusion. After a moment's blank stare, Amarus actually smiled, and then laughed a little. "...Woops. I'll get him next time? We could go gnome hunting," she suggested, smiling sheepishly before her mirror-blank expression returned. She was actually quite tired from using that speed burst, though... it was a new ability, and she couldn't do that very often at all.

"That lightning course class... It was the first class I got to take on my own. It was more than a little sadistic," she said. Amarus had never, in fact, tried to fight in heels. She did take a look at Danny's footwear in passing, and approved of the flat-soled style. Amarus took an equally defensive stance, and the corner of her mouth quirked up. "I am pretty sure you're a more advanced student than me... Admittedly, I'd like to see how hard you hit," she said, a quiver of excitement escaping into her voice.

Sin found herself relaxing quite a bit as she spoke with willow, this was nice not the interrogation she had thought.

"Her name is Simone she's hard to miss."

How different species interacted? Well that was interesting and Sin had originally come to Amityville to socialize with fellow demons and learn to interact with the other species as well. Of course her opinion of monsters, reapers, and undead had since taken rather drastic changes. An entire life of being taught demon superiority had been broken down by the joys and tragedies of school life. She probably had just as many non demon friends as demon friends now. How much had changed in such a short time, well short compared to her eventual lifetime, but her time at Amityville seemed much longer.

"Ugh human studies is probably my least favorite class, I just don't get them!" She laughed and focused on the next question.

"Oh that's easy, I love going to the Maul! Shopping is like a hobby of mine I guess you could say. New fashions, hanging out at the food court, and treating myself or friends to something deathly fabulous, I love it all. I also spend a lot of time with my boilfriend Rosc, but he's not such a huge Maul fan." She smiled as she thought about Rosc and wondered if he would show up or avoid the festivities.

"So do you have a boilfriend?" She asked curious to know if other couples had come together.

When he was called again, Shun had reluctantly left Mitsu's side to go to his table. Thankfully she had read off the names for him so he knew a little more going in. Still, he had to wonder just how he managed to get himself mixed up in this sort of thing.

After a bit of wandering, he found his way to the ninth table, where a gryphon awaited.

"Ah.. you must be Tahki," he said quietly before taking his seat. There was a short pause before he spoke up again, "I'm Shun."

Good, he had the right person then. It would have been a little awkward if he had gotten that mixed up. Settling in his chair, he raised an eyebrow at her little comment about these sorts of things. So then he wasn't the only one who managed to get into it by some unforeseen force.

Looking over Tahki, he noticed the red stains on the dress but didn't really think much of it. It.. could have been her fashion? She still looked pretty nice anyway.

"You're not the only one," he murmured quietly before shaking his head and focusing on the 'task' at hand. Though, when the first question was asked, he just stared at her for a few moments. It was... an interesting first.

"... Boxers.." he replied, slowly, and hesitantly.

What was he supposed to ask back to that? Panties or thongs? No, he was not going to ask that.

"...What are you listening to?" he decided to go with, noticing the headphones she had.

Petrified. Tahki was Petrified that she had just asked that question. Shun answered it but it still didn't make Tahki feel any better. Still, she swallowed her distaste for the question she had asked and gave the boil a small shy smile when he answered.

He at least did not return the favor with another underwear type question. Tahki was relieved.

"Listening to?" She blinked. Oh her headphones! Tahki had almost forgot. They were almost a part of her with how often she wore them. The gryphon reached up and took them off placing them on the table.

"Nothing." She gave him a knowing smile. "Its ... uh.. Its something I use to get out of conversations...?" Wait... she just admitted.. Oh great. "O-oh I mean I don't do it all the time. Its-just-something-thatuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...." Tahki gave the boil a please don't hate me pleading look. Quickly she thought up another question to get the awkwardness out.

"W-w-what are you?"
