"Aragorn is better as Strider than he is as the king. I mean the sword is cool but..." Bix then darted his eyes to Molly. Would she be totally turned away by Bix's philosophical discussion of Aragorn's coolness levels?

"Well it is a mall." He coughed, changing the subject. "Molly do you want to go anywhere?" He did nod at Marcus as they walked out into the main mall hallway. "Marcus you could probably hit up Hot Topic.. or anyone wanna go to the comic store?" He got a trollish grin. He just wanted to look at comics. DUH.

"AWESOME COMIC STORE IT IS!" Bix proclaimed with triumphant giddiness. "Marcus you could probably get Cass something anime related there. They should have plushes and clothes and stuff. Action figures too... maybe like a horror movie action figure?" It wasn't romantic but he bet Cass would love it anyway.

Bix offered his arm for Molly, trying to be smooth but not being able to help the pink to his cheeks. "Let's go milady."

It wasn't a mall he was familiar with so the 'going' involved stopping to look at the mall map but soon enough they were walking into a decent sized comic store. One half of the store was comics, lining the walls and filling boxes, and the other half was everything else. This included board games, models, figures, clothing, accessories, plushes... basically anything you could want.

Bix took a deep breath. "MY LIFE'S BLOOD." he sighed dramatically. "I love that smell. Musty paper and..." nerds. Gross nerd smell. It wasn't strong but there was always a little bit of it, lurking in the breeze.

Molly just smiled, but she was excited! All the new things at the Mall of America, and apparently all the arm offerings too! She just felt all sorts of special. “You’re too kind!” She took Bix’s arm happily, and along with them she went.

She couldn’t help but wrinkle her nose a bit at the smell…but hey, in all honesty, she smelled other things a lot worse. Gross Nerd smell was uh…certainly unique, but luckily all the sights she was taking in overpowered the scent department. “Amazing!” She echoed, and then perked up as Marcus addressed her. Oh…pick something cute huh? For Cass? Molly hummed thoughtfully, thinking about her fellow Mist Hunter as she looked around at the merchandise. Now she was getting nervous though…what if she picked something out that was totally dumb? Oh god.

Her eyes couldn’t help but keep straying back to the Totoro Hoodie though, and it was at that, that Molly pointed. Who could resist Totoro? “I think that’s really cute! I really like the eyes and the ears on the hood…I think the hood framing Miss Cass’ hair and face would be adorable!”

Bix was already over a box of comics, flipping through them faster than seemed possible. At the speed he was flipping it was surprise he was even looking at the covers but ever minute or two he'd stop, eye something up and down and either 1) take it out and look it over or 2) continue flipping at high speed.

"See? Comic stores are awesome." Bix looked up at both of them and grinned. Of course this one was a bit bigger than usual and had an amazing variety of stock, but it was really only helping his case.

"But see I would just spend all my money on me." Which by the growing pile of issues next to him, he was planning on doing. "You ever read any comic books, Molly?"

Marcus was just much more focused on getting 'cute s**t for Cass'. Gathering a good bunch of s**t, he went to the counter, wide eyed with his card. He was going to romance the panties right off Cass.

"Okay, I'm off to brave the chocolate shop." He looked like a man on a mission. Deep breath. "Wish me luck"

“Mmhm.” He nodded his head to confirm. The small step back did not go unnoticed by Wilson, whose eyes widened slightly as he took another step backwards as a wordless apology. While he vaguely recalled Ami shying from his touch during the party, it had completely slipped his mind until now.

Wilson nodded again, pleased to hear she was doing alright. “One of those external missions, you mean?” He laughed sheepishly as his gaze stared into the far off distance and he recalled the uh, interesting experience that was his first external mission. While it had been great to visit China again, the raging farmers had not been so great. He was definitely not going to investigate Chinese farms again for a long time. He threw Ami a curious look at her use of sarcasm. Personally, Wilson found most of the hunters to be pleasant enough, perhaps a bit grumpier than normal, but nothing too bad. “I’m sure…they’re all very nice underneath the charm?” He didn’t sound too confident, but Wilson gladly latched onto the familiar name. “Tori! Yeah, I did a mission with her once. Pretty nice woman.”

As the other trainee searched through cards, he opted to do the same. Just as he opened a fairly creepy Valentine card, Wilson turned to glance at Ami. “Sorry? …Oh.” He hummed quietly, casually closing the card and returning it to the rack. “You can still give cards to others,” he suggested, “You can write something like ‘I look forward to working with you!’ or whatever.” Wilson scratched his cheek. “You could uh, get chocolate and stuff too. There’re lots of sales here, and stuff…Yeah.”

"That sounds somewhat pathetic," she said bluntly, "That's like saying 'hey I don't have a valentine, so take this'." Was it possible she was thinking too much about this? It was only valentines after all. She was getting too worked up.

Nodding her head, she laughed and said, "Chocolate, would be wonderful." With a wistful smile she added, "Though you'll have to show me where it is. I've never been here!"

When he wasn't looking, she picked out a few miscellaneous cards just the same. Perhaps she'd write one to her lovely Wilson friend.

Wilson frowned. “Does it?” He didn’t think it sounded pathetic. Perhaps a bit too eager, but certainly not pathetic. Although, perhaps his view on it was somewhat flawed since he had done similar things in the past before he arrived to the island.

He grinned. “Awesome! Admittedly, I’ve never been here before either, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to get around. Even if it is…giant.” While Ami sneakily picked out a few cards, Wilson chose a set of Valentine cards as well. They were plain and with a simple message, but at least he could send them to the other trainees without worry of sending the wrong idea. “Are you ready?” he called out, walking out of the store and into the constantly-flowing stream of shoppers. Wilson looked left and right, clueless. “If we’re lucky there’ll be a chocolate store nearby…”
