"Didn't mean to catch you quite that hard. Here, you can lean on my shoulder. I don't think I broke your shield; something to eat and some rest will get you back to normal quick enough." Jordan looked sheepish. He made a mental note - the gap in experience and strength was large enough now that he should really be a lot more careful about holding back against new trainees.
Ferros stirred in his mind, the sense of the weapon returning to coherency as his charge bled off. Oops, the dragon said.
Yeah.

"If yer not the one hittin' me hard then how am Ah gonna be able ta stand up ta a monster or sommin'? No, no, this is good fer me." At least Ofelia had a somewhat sunny outlook on the fact that she'd had her a** handed to her twice in less than a week. Rue wasn't pleased with how weak her stupid human was and let Ofelia know it, several times, but the teen ignored most of it and instead chose to lean against Jordan her head resting on his shoulder. "If Ah pass out while we're movin', m'sorry."
Hopefully some coffee in her, some food, would make the ringing go away. If not, well - she'd had worse. Maybe. Hopefully?
She couldn't really remember, but at least she learned something fun and new today.
Ofelia sucked at getting hit in the head
