"Oh, of course." Riyo missed the mouse this time, which ended up on the floor. Her eyes stayed trained to it, as if the creature would scurry away any minute now. "A year and a half. Yep. Sounds like a lot of time." Was she being sarcastic? Who knew. The feline slowly moved to her hands and knees, tail alert in the air. Crouched like a predator now.
"At least you'd like to think, eh?" What'd she mean by that? It didn't look like she was about to explain, she was too busy pouncing on a fake mouse. "Well Roch. It's been fun, but I have things to do." Rolling over, Riyo sprung to her feet and gathered up all her new toys with stars in her eyes. When she snapped out of it, she'd probably wonder what the hell happened.
It looked like she was about to walk away, but the ghoul paused... And slid her hand over his fuzz one last time. "Remember, keep your windows locked or I might do something worse next time."
