Grimacing a bit from the lick, Shun brought up a hand to wipe his face a bit. While it wasn't.. quite nearly as pleasant as a regular kiss, he didn't complain. Once she was in her student form once more, he glanced to her side as she sent to touch it.
"You're hurt," he said softly while moving closer to her to try and inspect the damage. His right shoulder had quite a bit of a dull ache to it now thanks to that punch he received, and his movements with that arm were definitely stiff, but that didn't stop him.
"We better keep moving. Before more trouble comes," he sighed. He'd speak with her on the situation once they got back.

Mitsu lifted her shirt slightly to see but the damage wasn't what she expected. While in her student form the knife would have been rather sizable and no doubt would have done some damage but she had been stabbed while in her wolf state. Her dense fur had kept the knife from going far and comparatively the knife might as well have been a stubby toothpick to her large wolf form. The wound was barely deeper than a paper cut and no wider than half a centimeter. It looked like she had simply been poked with a letter opener, there was hardly any blood to note.
"I...think it will be fine." She said softly pushing her shirt back into place. "Are you okay?" He wasn't injured like he normally was when he came home but she was pretty certain he had still received a blow.
Nodding slightly, Mitsu followed her reaper relying on him to lead the way. She had no idea where they were at the moment. It would have been rather tragic if she hadn't found him. No doubt she would have been wandering around lost all night.

Staring as she lifted her shirt, Shun noticed that she barely took any damage at all. The attack must not have hit her too hard at all then, which was good. He was relieved to see it wasn't serious.
"I am," he said with a nod before glancing around quickly to make sure there was no other signs of trouble. Since it seemed to be pretty clear, he started to make his way back towards the school. It was a little ways of a walk back, seeing how it took him a little while to get out here in the first place.
Also, he was limping a little again. While he hadn't actually gotten hit in the leg, that maneuver he pulled put a good amount of strain on the injury he already had there.

It was a relief to know he was okay but her brows still furrowed with concern when she saw the limp.
"Did your leg injury flare up? Do you need to ride?" She made her way beside him taking hold of his arm. If he needed her to she would transform so that he could ride and rest his leg. All she would need was directions back to school.

"I might have moved a little too fast back there," he admitted while looking at his leg, "I should be fine to walk though. It's not that bad."
That wasn't exactly true. Shun was just brushing aside the pain for now really. Same with his shoulder. Little did he know that there was quite the nasty bruise forming under his jacket and shirt where he had been punched right about now.

For now Mitsu believed him but she wearily kept a look out for other signs of pain. "If you're sure. Just let me know if you want to ride. It's really no trouble and I'm not hurting anymore."
She had healed up fairly well though Mitsu hadn't indulged in activities that only managed to flair up her injury time and time again. The only thing she really had at the moment was the tiny paper cut of a wound and it was hardly worth mentioning though it did itch and feel weird.
Looking back to make sure they weren't being followed, Mitsu mulled over some questions mentally wondering if she would truly get any answers. The look in her eyes said there a dozen things going through her head at the moment but most of all wondering if they were in any further danger. "Do you think we're safe now?"

Nodding to her, he continued to walk back, though a little slowly thanks to the limp in his stride. It probably wasn't within his best interests to keep doing these things while he was still recovering, but he had to do what he had to do. It wasn't really all that new to him either.
Though it was going to suck again when he was going to need to use the stairs.
At Mitsu's question, Shun glanced over his shoulder and to both sides. It seemed to be pretty clear now.
"Possibly. There's still the chance trouble could arise, however. Don't relax fully," he replied, "We're still in the darker part of town and all."

At that little response Mitsu was fully alert and on edge again, her eyes glancing around while her ears pivoted the other direction trying to pick up the slightest hint of danger. As Roch might have feared she had no real sense of where the good part of town ended and the darker part of town began. She noticed the buildings in their run down state and the slinkier actions of the people but she had seen people act that way no matter where they were. Maybe it was because they were in abundance here.
When no danger seemed immediately present Mitsu focused her attention back to the path in front of them, ears still flicking this way and that. She would get Shun back safely and nothing would prevent her from doing that. It was surprising though that the reaper hadn't asked why she was here in the first place, why or even how she had followed though perhaps he could guess. It wasn't like he had told her never to follow him but she knew he wanted her separated from this life of darker business. Of secrets and danger though today hadn't seemed too bad it just took them somewhere a little more dangerous than most.
"Shun....did those guys...have something to do with your job?" Mitsu had seen them earlier, she recognized their scent and the way they looked. They had chased her down the alley but she had no idea if it was just bullies out to have a little fun or someone on the look out for people that didn't quite fit in the area.

Shun did want to talk to her about this little excursion, but he was waiting until they were back at either of their rooms before doing so. Though, since she asked, he went ahead and answered that much.
"Not as far as I am aware. Most likely they were just out for my wallet or simply looking to beat someone down. Either or," he shrugged. They looked like your typical street thug. If they had anything to do specifically with what he was doing there, he would have probably run into them sooner, while he still had the deliverables.
"In these types of areas, there's a good number of people like that. Granted you won't always be mugged if you're on your own, but the chances are greater here than in the better parts of town for sure."

"I think I only stumbled on this area once while in town, Roch led me back and showed me where to go." She had gotten lost obviously and wandered right into the bad part of town without knowing it. It was probably lucky she had met up with Roch and not some random thug like they had today. The people he had been with seemed nice though so she was certain not everyone in this area was considered dangerous.

Pausing there, Shun glanced back at Mitsu. It was probably a good thing she had stumbled upon Roch when she did. Otherwise she could have been in a great deal of trouble.
"If possible try not to wander this way too often. Though, that wolf form of yours should provide some good self defense. As you might have noticed, it was pretty effective against those guys," he said before moving again, slowly, "A lot of the thugs will generally target those who they think are weak. Opportunists."

"I didn't...really wander this way on purpose..." Shun knew of her sense of direction so he could probably guess how she had ended up on this side of town. At least she knew she could defend herself, her bigger form had been rather useful. Hopefully she didn't meet anyone bigger.
The bad part of town slowly faded away, the buildings were in better upkeep, the people more casual and abundant. Before long the school was ahead of them and Mitsu was starting to feel the relief that they had made it.

Shun frowned a bit at that. It meant that Mitsu's sense of direction had failed her once more. Another thing he was going to need to do when they were back.. as to find and install a HPS app onto her phone. Being an eyePhone, it should be able to have one. Hopefully, that would help her navigate the town and whatnot more easily.
"Alright, we're safer here. It still isn't good to completely let your guard down, but it's better here than back there," he said while motioning back. Though, as he did so, he failed to see a crack in the pavement, which caused him to stumble forth.

It was comforting to know they were a little safer though Mitsu let out a sound of surprise as Shun stumbled forward. "S-Shun!" She tried to grab hold of him and brace him to keep him from falling, certain his leg was bothering him.
"You shouldn't have walked on your bad leg so much. Its not going to completely heal if you keep pushing it." She had no idea he had tripped though her advice was probably still true.

Hissing in pain, Shun took a moment to make sure he had his balance, leaning against his girl briefly. Once he was sure footed, he looked over towards Mitsu and shook his head.
"I'll be fine.." he whispered.
Besides, he had to keep working. No doubt he'd just receive more rantings and lectures from his father should he not actually do anything.
