Mot eyed Lizzy back, a grin planted on his face that seemed to radiate I'm up to no good. "We... could shaare..?" That would solve the problem, right?

Mot managed to settle his laughter into chuckling, patting izzy on the shoulder despite the 'punch' to the arm he received. "There there, Lizzy. It really is funny though."

"Most people don't forget their own abilities. It's like me forgetting I have guns." Then again Lizzy only recently got her legs, right? "Or I suppose more like forgetting I can shadow shift. Ah well, I'll let it go." Mot ruffled the ghoul's ponytail before shoving his hands in his pockets.

The school grounds were left behind them, and the pair had started towards town. "I'll only get one scoop, then. Happy?" Mot grinned hopefully. He really wanted that coffee flavour eyescream.

"Meaaaaan." Mot huffed. Way to play dirty, Lizzy! "You're no fun. What happened to you? Why do you hate fun so much?" Mot teased, looking down at Lizzy judgmentally.

Soon enough they'd arrived in town, specifically at the eyescream parlour. Mot held the door open for Lizzy, and entered after she did.

Mot laughed at Lizzy's impression of Shun. "Nice one, but no one can look as unhappy as Shun. It's a physical impossibility!" Was that a jab at Shun? Yes. Yes it was. Mot liked Shun though, it was just too easy to make fun of him though.

Mot already knew what he wanted, but it was clear Lizzy was lost in a sparkly eyed daze as she gazed at the flavors. "You could always get them all, but I fear what would happen to your poor little tummy if you did."

Mot chuckled at Lizzy's devious little comment. "Sure you are."

"Got it. One scoop of that, and one of the coffee eyescream, please." Mot said to the clerk, giving them the proper amount of seeds. "Of course you would choose pink." Mot commented with a grin.

The scoops were put into bowls with spoons, and Mot took them both up, leading Lizzy to a table by the window. He set down Lizzy's bowl as well as his own before getting seated. "Feels like a lot of strange things have been happening lately, but then again why should I be surprised. It's Amity, right?"

"I did hear about that. Quite a bit, actually." Mot confirmed, nodding his head and hurriedly taking a spoonful of coffee eyescream. "It's like an epidemic. I try not to worry but..." How could one not worry? Was no one safe? It was as if they were being picked off like fish in a barrel. Was there no one they could trust anymore?

Mot took another spoonful of his treat, furrowing his brow in thought. "I feel useless being so powerless to help."

The grim reaper flashed a glance to Lizzy. Was this topic too dreary for time they could be spent catching up?

Mot nodded, taking another spoonful of his eyescream with a thoughtful hum. Honestly though, he wanted to protect so many people, it was slightly overwhelming.

Mot caught Lizzy's looks, following where her eyes kept drifting before narrowing on the ghoul. "Oh don't you even---" he started to say before the wicked spider demoness took a swipe at his eyescream. She'd managed to get a spoonful before the reaper took hold of her little wrist within his grasp. "You have your own pink mush, little missy." He teased with a grin.

He didn't actually care if she wanted to steal some, but it was no fun to just let her have it without a little bullying.
