It didn't take Xander too long to find a pair of black cargo pants, a dark blue t-shirt and some white sneakers, it was figuring out what he would bring that took him time. Of course he had his pokemon on his belt and glanced over his things. Finally he picked up a small notebook, a pencil, sunglasses, his pokedex and a small side satchel to hold them in, planning on posing as a collage student doing a report. After that he left a note for Frost and headed to the hanger.
When he got there he was glad he wasn't normally a weapon user so he wouldn't have to leave something behind like Aulus was. Though Asch did have an interesting idea if it could work. When Jerome posed a question about shades he held out the ones he had on him towards him. "You can borrow these if you want."

"I'd rather not risk it," Hayes told Asch in a friendly - but firm - manner, shoving his hands in his pockets. "I'm sure they'll have metal detectors. Probably Jennies, and if they do they'll have Growlithe who can sniff your Zoroark out." He shrugged with a rueful half-smile, an easy sort of gesture that conveyed a measure of sympathy. "Pokemon should be enough."

Someone was quick to answer Jerome, someone he kinda recognized to, though hell if he would ever remember the guys name right now. "Thanks, I'll try and get these back to you." He said, reaching out to take the sunglasses and slipping them on over his black inked eyes.
Bro grinned wide when Jerome put the glasses on, with a soft snicker.

Asch gave Hayes a momentary blank stare. He couldn't say he agreed with the elite, and part of him wanted to argue.. but it wasn't his place.
"Yes, sir" he said rather unenthusiastically. Hayes attempts at being friendly and sympathetic bouncing off Asch's cold exterior.
Looking to Saber, he frowned. "You heard him."
The Zoroark growled a little, but removed the sword and placed it on a bench in the hangar. It should be safe there till they got back. The Pokemon was then returned to its ball.
With that, Asch boarded the jet. This just wasn't his week.

"Thanks," Hayes smiled, unaffected by Asch's cold demeanor.
Once all the Rockets had piled inside, the jet's engines flared to life. Bay doors opened above them and they hovered up out of the desert floor. With a forward jolt they were on their way to Sinnoh.
The trip to Eterna City was mercifully fast and uneventful. Taking recent luck into consideration, just getting to their mission without some massive disaster (or massive robot) en route was an accomplishment in and of itself, and towards the end of the trip Stephen Michael had relaxed to the point of daring to whistle as they skimmed through the clouds.
He wasn't very good at it.
After landing outside of town where the jet could be concealed, the group changed gears to low-profile mode and blended into Eterna City's civilian population. Making the last leg of the trip by taxi wasn't as fun or flashy as hovering into the museum parking lot on a jet, but it wasn't as attention-grabbing either, so that's exactly what they did. When they piled out of the three yellow-checkered vehicles, Eterna Museum lay before the band of thieves. Much of the building was made of glass and glistened in the clear afternoon sunlight. Happy families and serious-faced students filed in and out.
As the cabs pulled away, Lore plucked two poké balls from under his jacket, "Sorry kids, gotta keep things low key. I'll letcha back out later." With a flare of light his two Whimsicotts disappeared. As Lore tucked the balls away again he glanced back at the Rockets, "Now remember, no funny faces or yelling bomb at the entry guards. I've heard rumors they hate that."
Said guards, stationed just inside the entrance ushering people through metal detectors, did look rather serious.

Somewhat inspired by previous interaction with Shawn, or as she knew him, really, Shadow, Tambrey had gone with 'the disguise'. The contacts were kept in, her hair was brushed out, but a hair tie graced each wrist. She'd grabbed a pair of blue slip-on shoes, jeans, belt and a black top, with her denim jacket over it and a small-ish, shoulder slung bag, brown, over her left shoulder; in this bag she carried her spare pair of glasses in a case, rather than risk her main pair in case, for whatever reason, she needed them (the non-excuse of 'contacts' would surely suffice, she thought), a couple of pens, a book and her pokedex. Her belt carried 5 of her pokemon; Palu had been told to 'guard the room' and 'look after the room mate' while she was gone, but to be honest, the bird -never- took off that scarf and Tambrey wanted to take a pokemon with 'fly'. That pokemon happened to be Pygi, and she knew that Pygi and Palu would likely not -work- well together.
She approached the jet with a little trepidation; she was sure she wasn't late as she'd been hurrying, but now that there was a jet, the whole thing was rather real and those other missions kept irritatingly hovering around in the back of her mind.
As the jet took off and flew, Tambrey sat and tried to think- and perhaps read her book. It would certainly make the flight quicker for her, though she wasn't going to avoid talking to anyone either.
The museum only provided her with a rather awed and happy look once they reached the point that they were approached the museum. At least she'd look like an enthusiastic visitor.

The plane ride was boring, but that was almost a mercy compared to the first big mission he'd been on what with the whole getting shot down by Galactic and then stuck in a mine with them thing. In the elapsing time Aulus wondered idly about what to do with Claire on their next date, and whether or not it was appropriate to get her a valentines gift. Probably was, right? Not jewellery or anything but... well, flowers or something, he wasn't the best when it came to thinking up presents.
During the subsequent cab ride he found himself thinking more about the mission at hand, about the stuff he might have to do and about Hayes. Last mission they'd nearly been crushed by falling ceiling, that wouldn't happen again he was sure but... but there was always danger and he'd promised to deal with it. Ugh. What was he even doing here with these criminals? What were half of them doing here? So many of them - like Hayes - seemed so... so normal. So nice. Maybe his previous view of 'criminals' had been childish and shallow but... but... why were they doing this? What reason did they have to steal and hurt people rather than to get legitimate jobs?
Yup, waaaaaay too much time to think.
Getting out of the taxi Aulus stretched and moved along through the entrance to the museum. Mercifully he passed the metal detectors without being blipped at for some bit of metal he'd forgotten about, and though he was sure the guards gave him suspicious looks he chose to ignore them, hoping that made him look more causal.
Right.
He was in.
Now where was Hayes?

Bro had long since slipped into Jerome's shadow, once Jerome had stepped out of the jet.
That had been the first time either of them had flown in anything like that, and it was enough to keep them both impressed and occupied during the trip, Bro more so then Jerome, the ghost type having plastered his face to the glass, staring down at the speeding world below. Jerome, holding the sunglasses over his head had been more content to sit back in his seat, minding his own business and staring out the nearest window.
But the ride was over, both the jet, and the taxi. Jerome slid the sunglasses down from his forehead, over his eyes as he stepped out of the car and stared over at the massive glassy building, with two legendary pokemon statues by the front entrance.
Stepping up next to the nearest team mate, being Tambrey Jerome put his hands in his pockets, teeth playing absently with the inside of his piercing on his lower lip. Maybe if he stuck with someone who belonged, it could look like she was dragging him here.

Asch spent the flight in silence, looking out the window and brooding. Eventually he caught himself starring at his own reflection in the glass.
I hope whenever you look in a mirror you'll think of me. Or maybe Lukey-san will come to mind first.
With a frustrated growl, Asch forced himself to look away and didn't look out the window for the rest of the trip. Instead glaring at random things. He couldn't let this get to him!
Once they arrived, Asch filed out and made his way to the museum with the rest of the group. Hands in his pockets, the red head teen looked rather bored. He glanced around, and caught sight of Shawn, and meandered in his direction. It would probably look more natural if he stayed near another teenager.

"Don't worry about it." Xander gave Jerome a smile. He knew that there was always a chance that things could(and probably will...) go wrong and sunglasses were the least of his worries.
Once the long rides were over he made his way over to the detectors. his small bag was searched but it was only cursory since it plainly only holding a few innocent things. He then moved over to Tambrey and Jerome to help with the mans 'alibi' of belonging, taking out his notebook and pencil to start taking 'notes'.

Alba didn't doubt the guard comment from Lore one bit. He even remembered getting called out once to help with such a threat during his policing days.
He was careful to not linger around the others too much. On one hand, he was tempted to stay close to Aulus, or even Jerome (Aha! Now he remembered where he'd seen the guy before!), simply to have some level of familiarity. On the other hand, it was best if they didn't all stick together as a group.
Arriving at the entrance, he greeted the guards in a friendly manner while they checked and scanned his jacket. "Do you know where I can find a map? Some of my students said I'd probably get lost without one, knowing me." He gave an embarrassed laugh and fixed his glasses. One of the guards kindly pointed him in the direction of an information kiosk, and Alba graciously thanked him and went right over.

The grunt nodded at Hayes when he replied, trying to be as serious as possible. It was hard to tell if people were taking you seriously or not, especially when you might as well have been half their age. "Yes, sir," he responded to the mention of running into trouble. He'd gotten out of his fair share of close calls; even if he couldn't remember any of them just then. "But, um...I'm called Grunt Shadow." That was the second time he'd been called 'Shawn'. What was with that? That Grunt Nakura had called him that too. Strange. Not the time to be worrying about it, though.
Going to change into his usual clothes but making sure to take his dex, wallet, and Nakura's pokeballs with him, Shadow tied his sneakers and was set to go. Somehow seeing the laid-back Rockets in their causal clothes seemed to make a lot more sense than seeing them in uniform. He would have easily mistaken them for civilians had he seen them out on the street. At least a bunch of civilians who opted for a whole lot of denim, black, white, and brown, along with baggy pants and sneakers. Oh, well. As long as they weren't seen together, it would probably be alright.
The boy laughed a little to himself as he overhead the conversation between Agent Hayes and Agent Aulus. He was grateful he himself didn't rely on any weapons - just his feet. But his running wouldn't help him in every situation, so when the time came that he had to stand and fight, Nakura's pokemon would be his weapons. Provided they chose to listen to him, of course. So far they seemed to like him well enough, but he had never before attempted to use them in battle. He hoped he still remembered the move sets Nakura had told him they knew.
Stealth? Was that was Hayes had said? Shadow wasn't sure how good he was at stealth, but avoiding fights sounded good to him. Going over to Aulus, the teen tapped the muscular man lightly on the shoulder and whispered, "Isn't a staff like a stick? That means you could pretty much use anything pole-like, right?" He figured there would be plenty of stick-like things at the museum if it came down to it. Like those poles they used to connect to each other with strips of fabric to make lines. Heck if he knew what they were called, but they seemed like the could do some damage in the hands of a skilled staff-wielder. Maybe he was just really attached to his particular weapon.
Before he knew it, they were on a jet out of there and then crammed into a taxi. Not what the street kid was used to at all. It was kind of interesting to experience such new things, but a little disorienting to have it all happen at once. It took a while for the grunt's legs to stop shaking once they were on solid ground again. By then, though, he had a good grasp of his surroundings and a good idea of his teammates. When the red-headed agent from earlier neared him, though, he blinked.
He hadn't realized it when the guy was sitting, and far away in his uniform, but...they seemed to be around the same age. Same height, too. Just...different demeanors. "Uh...hey," he said, holding out a hand. It might have been unheard of to introduce himself in such a way to a rank so high above him, but they weren't at the base anymore. Besides, it looked like the guy could have used some more friends. He did not look happy in the least. Probably something about having to leave that awesome sword of his behind. "Sorry, might be a strange question, but...have we...met before?"

Tambrey gave a smile at the two that joined her... and still found herself doubletaking at Jerome for a moment. There was no reason for it; she'd just shared a plane ride with him, perhaps it was, now, actually the sunglasses he had. She understood the idea of the grouping though, especially when Xander joined them, and found herself rather quickly going back to her 'excited about being at a museum' frame of mind. The check of her bag went pretty much as expected. She had no really dangerous objects after all, unless she chose to throw the book really, really hard or attack someone with a pen and her 'dex was in one of her pockets now. "Thanks!" She smiled, getting her bag back and wandering to ensure she stayed with the little group they'd formed. "So where did you guys want to go and look at first?" It didn't actually even sound like a cover.

That was only part of it really. It wasn't the root cause of Asch's foul mood, but leaving the sword behind certainly had not helped. He felt belittled by that elite. As if the guy didn't think he knew what he was doing or had the skill to pull it off. This burned him up, and already he was forming a negative impression of Hayes in his mind, even if it wasn't completely founded. But the man was his superior, and he had to obey, unfortunately. That Hayes guy seemed to like to play it safe, and Asch had no respect for that.
The red head's attention focused on the other teen as he spoke and held out his hand. Asch paused before reaching out to shake the other's hand reluctantly.
"No, I don't think so," he replied, distracted enough to not realize the implications of this question at the moment. He certainly didn't remember meeting this guy, but that wasn't to say they hadn't seen each other in passing before.
"I'm Asch," he then said, introducing himself to the grunt.

Aulus gave Shadow a look that implied he thought the grunt had been dropped on his head as a child. "Better unarmed than trying to use some brittle piece of crap with no balance. Tch. Anything pole-like indeed."
*****
"You 'n Claire could've made a date of this." Hayes was behind him, having wandered over to the information kiosk shortly after passing by the detectors and guards with little more than a glance. He had a brace of brochures in hand; one was offered to Aulus.
"Well," Aulus murmured, "too bad for her I guess?" He wasn't entirely happy about the whole thing, but he hadn't been about to back out in front of everyone. Taking the leaflet and swatting Hayes' arse with it he looked around. "Where're y'dragging me first then?" he asked with a dearth of enthusiasm that was not at all feigned.
Hayes wore a 'what the hell' sort of expression for all of half a second before professionalism dictated he play along. "Hey, not in public," he laughed, voice low. "Uh.. hm." The blond paused out of the flow of traffic, glancing around to catch sight of the rest of his team in his peripheral vision. There, there, gift shop, there. It was busy at the museum today. Everyone seemed to be spreading out and familiarizing themselves with the building as planned. "Check out the side halls before the main exhibit?"
"Fine," Aulus groused, "and while we're on the subject of side halls...." He lent over to whisper in Hayes' ear. "I'm probably making an innuendo about side halls. It's probably creative or something? I can't bloody believe you agreed to this. Can't bloody believe I agreed to this."
His old partner shot him an innocuous grin. "Want to go find a closet?"
Aulus raised an eyebrow. "You're the boss." Oh sweet Arceus he would never live this down.
