Lorne lead Godelieve through back alleys to a seedy little back alley bar. The bartender looked to Lorne and smiled. "Not here for a drink right now. I was wondering if the back room is free?" The tender merely nodded and tossed a key to Lorne, "Follow me." He said as he took Godeleive hand. He led her behind the bar, through the barstock room, and through another small supply room. He unlocked a door revealing a small but nicely furnished bedroom. It had a bed, a writing desk, and a table with 2 chairs. "This is mainly used for underhanded dealings, people who want an illicit rendezvous, or to hideout from the law." He smiled as he closed the door. The room was dimly lit by candles and a small lamp on the table, as well as the little sunlight that filtered in through a small dirty window. "Business first, then pleasure." he said gesturing her towards the table.

Godelieve followed and took the directions to her memory in case she needed to come here again. They enter the bar and she watched as Lorne caught the key. 'I guess he comes here often?' she questioned in her head. She flushed as he took her hand, as no male had grabbed her hand before. "Following." When they got to the room she took it all in and she sat at the table that he had gestured towards.
"Of course. You have a job that I may help with, yes?" She smiled and looked at him, waiting for him to join her. Her bangs still hung in her eyes, making it easy to tell where she could see at. The green of her eyes peeked through and it almost looked as if her bangs were giving her a place to hide.

"Yes. I need a partner." He smiled sitting down across from her. "I was given an offer some time ago, but I needed a second pair of hands. And you hands are quite skilled." he smirked, "I'll talk to the client and see if its still an open job. But this is more than I ever dreamed off." He smiled, "The job was to sneak into a elf lords estate in Magnae Silvea, and steal some old book. The things is. I can't get into or out of the estate alone. He has gaurds, dogs, and probably some magical defenses. I can deal with the first two easily enough. But the last one is where you would come in, my lovely accomplice." He leaned over the table, "Once he have the book, I set up an illusion spell, and we beat it. But we can't leave the same way we enter, which is another place where I hoped you ingenuity would come in handy. And we come back here, give to book to my client, and we rake in gold. 50/50 of course."

Ryolan sat in the corner farthest away from the crowd in the One-Eyed Fox bar. He usually sat here so most of his customers knew where to find him if they need "business" done. He surveyed the room looking for any signs of trouble that he might have to stop. He saw two people walk behind the bar and disappear out of sight. He was curious as to what may be happening, but decided that his tea would be better hot. Ryolan wanted to have a little fun so he sent a small bolt of energy and hit one of the glass mugs at the bar. 'I'm so bored' He thought, hoping something interesting would happen.

Godelieve blinked as she listened, taking in the information and smiling at his compliment in the beginning. "Ah, Magnae Silvae is a place I have not been in a very long time. But I do remember it well." She pondered it a bit, then sat up and leaned across the table. Her arms laid crossed under her breasts and she leaned against her arms to get comfortable. "Yes, the magical defenses is something that I could take care of, the amount of time I could do it it though . . ." She smirked a bit troubled. "Varies, I'm afraid." She took more of Lorne's plan in and then smiled more relaxed this time. "Sounds like a plan." She pulled her arm out from under her, then stretched it across the table. "Partners?"

Lorne took Godelieves hand, happily. "Partners." he said with a smile. "Now that we have discussed business." he said with a small growl, "Pleasure? Or should we wait until we've finished the job?" he asked as he stood and walked around tot he other side of the table. "The sooner we finish the job, the sooner we can have a lot more quality time together."

Godelieve had taken her hand back, and stood up as Lorne walked around to her side of the table. "A little pleasure never hurt anyone, has it?" She gave a flirtatious smile. "How about we catch up some, before this job." She then traced her finger down the side of his cheek. "Then we can have the quality time after the job as well. Does that even make sense?"
Godelieve looked at him through her hair, even her eyes were smirking.

Lorne leaned his face against her hand, "Pleasure now and pleasure later." He sighed softly, "Never too much pleasure." He said he her gently gripped her waist and pulled her close, "How long has it been since we were able to spend time together like this?" he whispered as he slowly leaned in towards Godelieve.

Godelieve smiled as he pulled her close and took in the fact that he was leaning in towards her. She whispered back, "Too long, way too long." before she leaned into him, closing the remaining space. This left her to wonder how long it really had been, and how good it felt to be back in business. Her hand slid down from his face to his shoulder, and she left it there.

Slaine took his plate, and the fork when offered. Her began eating as she gave him her flustered answer- which, Slaine could tell, was the truth. It was hard for Slaine to meet women while he had been raising Faelynn, but he still wanted her to find someone. "Just trying to keep tabs. You're 23, and sometimes Ineed to remind myself of that." Slaine smiled at her and finished his plate, before washing it.
Growing impatient, Oralee urged the horse into a gallop. Her cloak flew out behind her, her skirts held to her knees by her grip on the horse, but billowing lower than that. She must have made quite a sight, were anyone beyond the birds and insects around to see.
Finally coning upon the small abandoned village, Oralee breathed a sense of relief. She dismounted and walked the horse to her grandfathers shack, resting her hand on it. She could almost hear his low laugh. "My, but you are an odd child." Letting out a sigh, Oralee walked to the graves. It had been a risk, having Nyer's body rescued and relocated here, but Oralee knew its what both the men would have wanted. How many loved ones must an elf outlive, before it is no longer worth the years/ Oralee laid a flower on her grandfathers grave. Though she was unsure of the years he had been dead, Oralee always remembered the date, and brought him a pink lily. They were his favorite... Oralee had always wondered why.
Turning and mounting her horse, Oralee began the trek back to town. She wanted to stay longer, but never felt it was safe. It seemed so easy for someone to stumble upon her true identity here.
Her nerves moved into the horse, making it antsy and unsure of itself. Trying to sooth the horse as she rode towards town, Oralee missed the snake slithering across the pathway- but the horse saw it. Rearing back, the horse neighed it terror. Its wild and abrupt movements threw Oralee from the horse, who then galloped off in fright. The snake slithered away, but Oralee lay on the ground trying to piece together enough of her mind to move. I.. be never felt so mug pain. Though that was undoubtedly untrue, Oralee still felt pain wracking every movement she made. Feeling along the ground, Oralee tried to brace her hand on the ground to sit up. She made it only an inch off the ground before blackness swirled in front of her eyes and she slipped into unconsciousness.

((oh hot damn. Alice is quite happy with what she sees going down here. lol. ))
Arseni strode down the path towards his current residence, smiling at passing strangers, smirking internally at the majorit of people being embarassed. he noticed a few kids playing, and this made him even happier. "So nice, to see the children are happy..." he murmured to himself. As he finally reached home, he stepped in, locking the door, and hung his thin coat. "It is so difficult to argue all day vith those fools. But it is vorth it to help the people, i suppose." he sighed, walking towards the kitchen to get himself some bread.

Once Godelieves lips touched his Lorne wrapped his arms around her holding her close. She always ignited a passion within him. And though they might give in to some of their primal urges, some things they agrees were sacred, and to be saved for true love. Thus they had never made love.
They had worked together a few times. And they had found kindred spirits in each other. They were both lonely, and had found someone to trust. Lorne saw her as more than just a partner, or a way to fight off lonliness. He saw her as a dear friend. He had known her for almost a year. And they had grown quite close.

Faelynn smiled softly at his reasoning and finished her own food. "I might be 23, but there is no one near interesting enough here for me. Maybe you should find someone Slaine." She walked over next to him casually and washed her plate as well. She walked off to the front room, untying her coat and putting it on. "Slaine, I'm going to go check on some patients that I couldn't get to yesterday before we get any patients here. Man the fort til I get back?"
Godelieve almost had forgotten what is was like to be held like she was. Deep down, she had missed this, missed the affection that he was willing to show her. He somehow always managed to make her heart skip a beat but, she could never pinpoint why. And for that she was glad they had an agreement on things that they could and couldn't do.
She pulled away softly, not trying to ruin the moment. "You still have to see if that job is available." She whispered it, and even though she didn't want him to leave for a bit, the job was still in question.

Slaine lifted his gaze from the floor, where it had fallen, and gave a sheepish smile. "I'm a little old Fae. And I don't even have time to eat, how am I gonna meet a woman?" He shook his head. "'Oh hello miss, I see that you're arm is broken, might I mend it for you?' Ha. I've no charm, unlike you sis." He raised his eyes and nodded. "Yeah, I've got it covered."
