Michi's lips quirked the moment Danny said his name into a perfect, smug little smirk. Oh, well wasn't he the jealous sort! Making sure she knew that Danny was his best friend.

"Yeah, I remember Roch. You did say he was ugly. I get what you were saying." She grinned slightly, and waggled her eyebrows at Danny in a joking manner. Of course it wasn't true, but jack that. Michi wasn't sure where this was all going, but annoying Roch while hanging out with Danny seemed just fine for her for now. She could find Alex easily enough if things got boring.

"What do you wanna see Danny? Find any envelopes or anything yet?"

"RIKKI UH. HE UM. HE HAS HIS EXAM TODAY," she said, already darting towards him, reaching out to take the phone out of his hand. Awww snap. Now she looked suspicious. "So um. Don't call him. H-He'll fail," she said. It was only half a lie really. Danny knew he had an exam coming up at SOME point just because it was announced ... before all of this happened. Still, she wasn't telling the entire truth. She had no idea when it was.

Danny looked back at Michi for some assistance. HALP.

"Rikki's gonna be a Year Two?" Roch asked, getting excited. "Jackdamn, why didn't he tell me? That's awesome!" Then he stopped as the smoke demon came forward.

"Look, I'll let you off for the insults you gave me earlier," he told her. "Both suggesting I don't know how to use my own jackin' scythe and calling me ugly, but I don't like you. You and Danny can go and do whatever the jack you want, she'll still be my best friend at the end of the day. Now I gotta go find out if one of my best bros passed the test." And he started away again, holding his phone out of Danny's reach.

What was this? Seriously? Michi's eyebrows continued to rise and she tilted her head to the side. He was upset with her calling him ugly? She had just been agreeing with what Danny had said. And Danny was getting on to her about it too? Pft.

"Look dude, all I saw was a guitar. I didn't know it was your scythe. And not everyone who jacking has one knows how to play it. I gave you a compliment and was trying to flirt with you. But that's alright, I don't like you either. So we can just agree to not like each other."

She lifted one hand and flicked a tendril of smoke out of her gaze. Michi was now, not having a good time in the least bit. Danny had gotten onto her about just agreeing with her. What was this madness? She scowled slightly and stared at the minipets with some amount of annoyance on her face. Maybe she should just walk off and find Alex again. That was better than this.

"They are cute."

There was no point arguing with Danny, the fire demon wouldn't understand. Michi was upset though. How had she said things about him? She had called him an a** after he had been an a**, and just told Danny she understood what she was saying. They probably were best friends, but it was a little odd. This feeling of being hurt, miffed, and frankly playing second string here. She didn't like it one bit. Where was Alex anyways?

Meanwhile Danny was busy playing with the baby dragons. The owner of the booth gave her a frown, and she frowned back. Apparently she had to actually play the game to get one. She attempted to reach into the little pile of minipets to grab one, but they all slid away from her hand like ants from a flame.

Grumpily, she tugged at the back of Roch's vest, completely ignoring the little mini-fight going on behind her.

"Rooooch," she whined, "Win me one!" She gave him the puppy eyes. C'mon who could resist that faaaaaaace~~~~

Hesitantly he tucked the envelope away in his waistband, figuring that he could keep it safe until they found the owner. He could not meet her eyes as she began to question him. "I got into a fight," was all that he told her. I had not intended on fighting but I did not mind accepting a challenge.

Her other question was much more confusing. Ice was bad. It made him weak and it was cold, but she seemed to be talking about it as if it was a good thing. "What would I need ice for?" Was she talking about his nose? He had mad sure that it had stopped bleeding in an appropriate amount of time, and had gotten some supplies from a gnome to tape it up. Ice had had nothing to do with it. "Really thought, I am fine." If you just ignored the finger marks dug into his chest, his broken nose, various scratches, and the mottled assortment of bruises on his midriff he was. "Should we not concentrate on the festival? You seemed to be very excited about it yesterday." That sounded fairly good, he could just redirect her attention back onto herself.

"A fight?! With who--" Cutting herself off, Xiu pursed her lips. Yin didn't seem all that bothered by it, but she still couldn't help but be a little concerned. At the very least, he was up and moving, so it wasn't as if he had been really seriously injured, right? Taking a deep breath, the ghoul's shoulders relaxed slightly.

"Hm? The ice reduces the swelling! Though...though I guess maybe what's done is done right now. I'm glad to hear that you're alright, though." A little beat up, but still in one piece. So long as it had been a mutual battle decision and not an attempt at bullying, she supposed that she didn't have a place to say too much on the matter.

The ghoul was caught off guard by the question, looking down as she wrung her hands together in front of her. "Oh! I...well, I mean, I am, but I don't want to burden you. If it hurts for you to move too much, then maybe..." She had been excited, yes, but she celebrated the Lunar New Year every year anyways. It wasn't as if this was going to be the last festival ever, right?
