Mot was tickled. He knew she liked him too, but hearing it back was such a treat. His eyes shut momentarily as her hand and knuckled brushed his cheek, his heart fluttering at the contact of skin. So why was Mot acting this way? Apparently he really, really missed her.
"Good, because..." He grinned cheekily, "..I'll be asking you to refrain from training until that wound is healed." No ifs, ands or buts.

Then her hand stilled as he spoke, and she stared up at him. Refrain from training!? Oh, she was about to try some ifs, ands or buts…all of them, in fact! “… B..but Mot!” There was one. “ I can not refrain from training! If I do that I will not get stronger!” There was another. “ That is just not possible…and this wound is not that bad, truly!” There was the other.

"Don't look at me like that." Mot chuckled, shrugging his shoulders. "Only a couple of days. At least two, including today. Okay?" He really didn't need Hel agitating the wound. He'd seen it. Minor though it may be, it was not good to overwork the body while injured. That would be needlessly reckless.
At least he was meeting her half way.

The joke was on you Mot, Hel already did her training for today.
So…just tomorrow then? She couldn’t train tomorrow? HMMMM. The idea of not training didn’t sit well with her…but the boil would probably get upset again if she tried to persuade him otherwise…
“…I will only heed your request on one condition. That I have all your time tomorrow.”

"Deal." Mot took no time in agreeing to that request. Hel wanted all of his time, and not only was he flattered, he wanted all of hers as well. Having a ghoul friend is pretty awesome, he thought to himself.
"Anything you want to do, we'll do. Other than strenuousness exercise." He warned with a waggling finger. No tricks allowed!

Well…okay….maybe not having any training tomorrow wasn’t such a bad thing…she was getting Mot all day and night.
Her face broke out into a wide, pleased grin now, and she smacked a fist into one of her palms as an idea struck her. “You know what I would like to do tomorrow?” She asked. It was something that was not strenuous…in fact, it was rather laid back and relatively normal…but not something she really had the pleasure of doing before. “I think we should go see a movie.”

Mot was surprised. He had not expected her to suggest something so normal. It was a welcome change. "Movie it is. Think about what you want to see." Mot was kind of excited now. He really liked the idea of going out to see a movie with his...
...he just realized something.
"Hey, I guess this will be our first date?" He asked with a pleased smile.

“How about we decide when we get there?” Hel offered back. Planning ahead? Pfff, that was for suckers!
The reaper tilted her head at Mot’s question, and for a moment, looked at a loss. First…date? She supposed this would be their first time actually going out of Amity and doing something as a…couple. Huh. It was still an outing regardless…but apparently it was more special now with ‘date’ now applied. A smile formed back on Hel’s lips for a brief moment before it disappeared again as she scowled. “I have to wear a dress out tomorrow?” She cried in disbelief. In public.

"Fair enough." Though honestly Mot was a big fan of planning ahead. Please the lady friend, first and foremost.
Hel's cry brought a playful grin to the Grim's face. "That you do, my lady." He seemed much too pleased by this. It was all so perfect.
He patted her head, trying to tame his grin a little and not tease Hel too much. "On the plus side, I'll spend all day with you today too. How about I teach you how to play poker?" That seemed like a good way to keep Hel tied down for a few hours.

Hel groaned again. Dresses. In public.
The ghoul crosses her arms and shot a very pouting look up at the grinning grim reaper, before she raised a brow. “Damn straight you are spending all day with me.” She replied, before squinting up at him. “…Do I really want you teaching me how to play poker when I am making it my goal to defeat you at it one day?” Seriously, Mot could purposely lead her astray so that she’d never win!

"Who better to teach you, then?" Mot replied innocently. "Because I have to say, you're rather terrible at it." Then again it really was a game of luck. It was all about the poker face!
"How about Black Jack?" More card games? Never not. "Come oooon~"

Oh no he didn’t.
Hel sat up straight faster than FooFoo flying out a drawer full of panties. Inches away from Mot’s face with a narrowed gaze and her lips pulled down into a frown. “Terrible, huh?” She jabbed a finger into his side. “Just like you at flipping ghouls.”
Oh challenge…it was on.
“Alright. Teach me then.” She’d beat him at his own game.

Despite how terrifying Hel's anger was at first, Mot kept his cool (outwardly) and smiled at her. "Yay~." He replied simply, a bit of glee in his tone. With a happy hum, he pulled a deck of cards from the drawer of his nightstand. He spent the good part of many hours teaching Hel poker, and he seemed elated the entire time.

What did Hel learned after so many hours of Poker?
That she did not have a poker face. Hel and poker face did not belong in the same sentence. It seemed nearly impossible.
