"You're so irresponsible! She could get killed!""Look, she's alright!" Polly pointed at Clowrey while staring furiously at his assistant."But what if she wasn't!?""WELL SHE WAS! What if I'm not talking to you!?""A-are you trying to threaten me?""I'm not trying!" He stormed off towards The Tunnel of Horrors with stormclouds in his eyes, knowing that 42 wouldn't have the guts to follow him.Oh crap... What was he going to do now? The master was no fun to deal with when grumpy. And why did he have to go in there? "Damnit... W-W-WELL, MAYBE I DON'T C-CARE!""QUIT STUTTERING, YOU FOOL!" He answered from afar. Then 42 noticed poor Tramiti on the ground. "O-oh my! H-h-how i-is he!?"Apollyon was beyond himself with fury. How dare that little sprout of a man stand up to him like that!? He should know by now that the boss is always right! Then again, he didn't shout at him very often... Maybe he did do something wrong? No, screw him. I'm the freakin' devil, I'm not supposed to be good anyway! He's so not getting a vacation now...
He walked for a bit, clearing his mind and slowly calming down. The tunnel was dark and scary, but it felt quite like home. Except home was full of work and duties. What was he so mad of anyway? That girl was probably a million times stronger than 42, and she was never in any worse danger than he ever was!

Clowrey watched in silence[as she was known to do], as the two continued to shout at each other even louder. Eventually, the dragon rushed off in a fit and 42 had directed his attention to the fainted Tramiti. Speaking of which...When did he faint? Clowrey moved closer to the tiger, poking and sniffing him a bit. She'd known, since she was a kit, that Tramiti was not usually a timid creature--In fact, he could be quite wild and strong, not to mention physically. Though when faced with something 'strange', he was...Anyway, she wasn't worried for the tiger's health at least. She plopped down in front of him and prodded his muzzle with one of her paw. When he didn't respond, she playfully pressed both her paws over his nose until he shot awake, gasping.
"GUH HAAAH...W-WHA...?!" Tramiti looked around in a panic, until he noticed Clowrey smiling up at him. "Y-you alright...!" he sighed in some relief. But the fox-bunny only continued to smile before remembering Polly had stormed off to the strange dark tunnel...and promptly headed that way as well. Tramiti was fine--so she'd go on her way~ As for Tramiti...He had had quite enough by this point.
"F-FINE BEING! I-I GOING HOME--BEING WITH YOU OR NOT," he shouted after Clowrey before running in the opposite direction towards the forest.

What was happening? 42 looked around all confused. Were they fighting too now? What was he to do? He should probably go after Polly, even if he was at that creepy place, but then again he shouldn't leave the tiger alone. What if he went lost? What if he ran into some bad company? While at the same time, the thought of the master alone with the bunny in a dark and scary place didn't seem very comforting either... But she's a big girl, she can handle it, right? The tiger thou..."Hey! Wait for me!"He ran after him without another thought. When Polly started hearing footsteps at the end of the tunnel, he thought the whimp had finally decided to apologise, but he wouldn't let him off just that easily. He crawled up behind a gargoyle sculpture near the ceiling, ready to strike. But soonly he saw that it wasn't 42 at all. What's she doing here now?

What a strange place this was...It was so dark and eerie, though she supposed that was its 'gimmick' judging from the rather obvious title it had. Things popped up when you least expected it, false winds whistled by, and the subtle sounds the place made...Clowrey was, of course, unnerved by these things and even jumped a bit when something would appear suddenly. But nonetheless, she'd continued on with the safe assumption things in this place were MEANT to scare you...but never harm you. She sniffed out for Polly, whom she noticed had a strange scent...Like something was burning. No, not exactly--Just the smell of burning itself, rather than an object being burned. Eventually she came to where Polly had hidden himself, and where his tracks seemed to stop. Confused, Clowrey looked around but didn't see him anywhere...The scent was still fresh, but how did it just abruptly stop? 'Is the dragon hiding again?' she thought to herself, remembering that jsut earlier this night Polly had been hidden in the trees. So where in here could he had snuck away to...?
Tramiti ran hard and fast, out of the town and back into his beloved nature grounds--The dense forests. Once he got there, the tiger seemed to calm down almost immediately and finally realized 42 had been chasing him: "You follow Tramiti? Is why?"

He was surprised to see her at such unease. Quite pleased, actually. But he was still mad at 42, and decided not to move a muscle untill he came crawling back for forgiveness. But what if he wouldn't? What if he just left him there to himself? Thou this was usually what he'd wish for, it didn't feel quite as good as it should've. Being alone with ones thoughts. But that's right, he wasn't alone. She was still there, sniffing around. Wonder just how scared she is...They ran for long, and 42 wasn't exactly the most fit fox out there. In fact, he was rather exhausted when the tiger finally stopped. "I... "-He tries to catch his breath-"I-I just... Thought no one should be alone this late a-at night, a-and... Well, you were."He hadn't noticed just how far they'd gone until now. It'd certainly take some time to get back to the city in the morning... But atleast here he didn't have to worry so much about grunts. He looked down at her, carefully slithering to the tip of the statue, wearing a big grin on his cheeks. He couldn't help but notice how tiny she looked from up there. Like an unsuspecting little girl in an old horror flick. Slowly, slowly, savouring the moment. Then he leaped down. Feeling so alive, everything growing before his eyes, then landing. He tackled her to the ground, still smiling widely.

"Oh. Not needing worry--In forest now," Tramiti replied, with a large grin on his face. Now that he was surrounded by natural earth and trees, the tiger felt at ease and seemed to be a completely different Carou. Of course, being back in these comforting surroundings didn't solve ALL his problems. "Clowrey still back in stone forest..." he grumbled to himself, "Her mother will angry being with me..." At the thought of Jatai's fury, the tiger noticeably shuddered...She wasn't anyone you wanted to get mad, much less over her children! At least, he thought to himself, that Clowrey would come back home soon enough...before the night ended. None of her children wanted to get their mother mad either... Aaaagh, why did he have to be stuck watching over Clowrey out of all of them though?! "Not child no more but still much trouble-making..." he muttered under his breath.
Where could he have possibly gone? In the darkness, there wasn't much Clowrey could see...much less find things the dragon could have hidden behind. But he had to be here somewhere...'I can feel him watching me, but from where?' she thought to herself. Suddenly, she sensed something was wrong and her ears perked straight up in the air but it was too late and Polly had already struck! However, being a 'wild Carou' more in-tune with her natural primal instincts, Polly would find that she was most definitely nothing like his timid 42...
The fox-bunny attempted to kick him off her just as he had pounced, which would leave him no time to enjoy 'subduing his prey' as Clowrey defended herself. But instead of merely bucking him off, she would basically roll them over so that she'd be the one on top instead. If she hadn't thought it was Polly that was attacking her, she might've tried to actually hurt her assailant. She smirked at Polly, showing just a bit of her sharp canines, but made no motion to move. "Heh~"

Suddenly the tiger seemed to nearly glow with confidence. He made 42 feel more comfortable in these to him unknown grounds. But he still seemed a bit worried, and the assistant couldn't help but to feel the same way. "I understand you far too well..."He settled down for a moment, looking up at the stars. It sure was beautyful out there, without the traffic lights and vehicle fumes hiding the nightsky. "Sire needs to do his job, and whenever he doesn't, I get to take the blame for it. No one trusts in him to care for himself anymore, so he doesn't... I know he keeps getting swamped, but... He's just not the only one who could use a break."He sighed and stood up again, looking back towards the city. Should they go back for them? They'd probably be alright anyway, but 42 felt like he rather get it all over with already and get on with work. Thou, at the same time, he had to admit this felt quite good. "Think they'll be alright 'til the morning comes?"Apollyon was surprised, but happily so. He rarely had anyone to play with, 'cept for 42 of course. What a wimp he was, that fox... Atleast back in the days he was quite enjoyable, before he learned all the tricks in and outside the book. Maybe he should give him a brake sometime? Then he'd have the chance of forgetting a thing or two.
"Heh, hey there..." He smiled back, touching his own nose with his tongue. "Shouldn't little girls like you go home to momma after dark?"

What 42 said didn't make too much sense to the simple tiger...There were only parts here and there that Tramiti could comprehend, but he figured he got the gist. Both this fox and the scary dragon were just tired...He could understand that. He reached over and patted the fox on the head with a friendly smile; "If one thing know, is little fox and dragon are caring each other. Much. I can see. We should go...If by morning, no one safe. Should find where Clowrey is..." "Y'know, I'd like to find that out too." "Hiih?!" All at once, a brown blue shot out from the shadows and straight at Tramiti, knocking him down with great force! Pinning the tiger down was a brown fox, donning a bright red collar..."G-geh--Jatai?!" "That's right, Wild Boy," she snarled, baring her fangs. "Now tell me...WHERE. IS. MY. DAUGHTER?!"
Clowrey raised a brow at his comment, smirking a little more as if to remind him who was currently on top at the moment--and pressed her paws down on his chest more just to affirm that. What she wanted was an admission of defeat of sorts, for striking down the 'big bad dragon'...and it looked like she wasn't planning on getting off him until then. But likely that wasn't going to happen...'So maybe I should just take something as my prize instead,' the fox-bunny thought to herself, 'Hmm, maybe one of the bells he's wearing? Or...' Her expression suddenly softened from that snarky mischievousness, though her smile still lingered. She then lowered her head closer to his...but passed so that her maw hung just centimeters from his neck and right next to his ear..."To the victor the spoils, and she shall take it from the willful beast that which she conquered...Her trophy shall be her choice, but she stands in wonder of what is it that shall be her desire? Something to best prove her triumph...A thing that she can claim to be all her own. And it dawns on her...The beast still thrives and its blood still beats. So what best to take from him..." she had started to lower her voice to just a whisper, barely audible at this point. "But a moment of that which gives him his very life?" Then, in a few mere seconds, she snapped her jaw out at his neck!
A pinch later, Clowrey pulled back and in her teeth was one of his bells. "But such a thing as that can't be hauled around as a reminder~" she chuckled before getting off him and bounding out of the haunted house.

The sudden voice of a stranger startled 42, and the fix leaped into the air then ran to hide behind nearest tree. Scared for his life, he wouldn't even dare to peek out, but he did listen. Her daughter!? OMG THAT MANIAC HAS A FAMILY! Pleae don't eat me, please don't eat me, please don't eat me...Polly was confused, and it took him a few moments to even realise what just happened. He hopped right back on his feet and shouted at her as he ran after. "HEY LADY! Get back here! No one steals from Satan and goes unharmed... NO ONE, YA HEAR ME!?"
But thou he ran as fast as he could, she was out of sight once he reached the end of the tunnel. And looking around, he couldn't see 42 or the tiger either. Loyal minion my a**... Where the heck has he gone to now? Inspecting the ground near the entrance, he saw some tracks in the dust that might be theirs. He didn't like the idea of his little buddy alone with strangers, so he took a chance and followed them, hoping they'd lead him to a safe and sound fox, completely forgetting how mad he was at him just a while ago.Eventually 42 realised that thou she was even more frightening than the master, she was probably just worried for her child. No mother should ever have to worry like that...Carefully slipping out from his hiding spot, he approached her cautiosly. "N-n-n-not to worry, m-madame! She's s-s-safe w-with m-m-my... f-friend? A-atleast I t-think..."

Clowrey, deciding she'd been out late enough that night and having spoken more than once[a more surprising event than one can understand], began to head towards home--the forest...Tramiti did have a point after all: If Mother found out she'd gone out so far, and into these cities, what a fit she'd throw! Too bad for Clowrey, well aware that Polly as behind her and kept her pace steady so she'd stay within his sights, that Jatai already knew of her disappearance...And too bad for Tramiti who has been burdened with the task of watching over her...
The tiger, more scared of Jatai's wrath than anything else in this bloody world, could only stutter incoherently. And then 42 spoke...Jatai's ears twitched a bit at the new and unfamiliar voice and turned her burning gaze slowly towards the stranger. She got off of Tramiti and practically stalked her way towards 42, an intimidating stalk..."And who...the ******** are you and your little friend...?" she inquired in a low, growling tone. "And you 'think'? I suggest choosing your next words a little more wisely..."

This sure was the most intimidating fox he'd ever met, and she just got more and more frightening by the minute. Where was the master when he needed him? Oh yeah... He's mad at me..."He... H-he is a-a-a business man! Yes, a business man! A-and I-I-I-I... I'm h-his assistant... W-w-we're doing a f-f-field trip! L-last time I-I-I saw them, t-they were togeather, b-but... I-I don't know i-i-if m-maybe they're on their w-way b-back home now...? S-s-since it's late a-and dark and..."42 wouldn't dare say another word. The mother's stare at him almost felt as if it could burn a whole through his flesh any minute. And now that she got him thinking of it, he was actually a bit worried too. After a rather long walk, Polly finally started hearing some voices. Was that 42? Judging from the insane stuttering, it could hardly be someone else. And he couldn't be far away, either. But he wasn't alone... What's he gotten himself into this time?
He slithered up a tall tree and looked around until he could spot them, but just barely. The tiger was still with him, but who was that fox? Some sort of thief? Better get closer...

Jatai, unimpressed by the whimpering 42 continued to step forward until she was right in his face--staring down. I'm guessing she also wasn't relieved by his explanation either..."Let me ask this again, and this time I want a real answer," the fox growled, "WHERE. IS. MY. DAUGHTER?!"
It was around this time Clowrey and Polly came onto the scene. While he went up a tree...Clowrey peeked silently behind a bush. The angry shouting...it could only have been mother. 'Uh-oh, perhaps I should sneak away while I still can,' she thought to herself, trying to keep small behind the bush...But it was no use. At the smallest sound, Jatai's gaze shot up from 42 to the bush and she pounced with a great canine-like shout! In a panic, the fox-bunny ducked away from the bush and into sight before her mother could crush her "YOU!" Jatai shouted, seeing Clowrey rush out. She bounded over quickly, almost seething with anger: "Young lady where the HELL have you been?! And what's this about the wuss over there's friend?!" Clowrey kept low to the ground, long ears flattened as she stared up at her barking mother. Of course, she offered no reply save for a wide, apologetic smile. "That didn't work when you or your siblings were a kit--IT A'INT WORKING NOW."
'Jatai so scary...' Tramiti thought to himself, and started to sneak away...but to no avail. He felt a stomping foot on his tail stop him in his tracks--"Oh no Wild Boy, I'm not done with YOU yet." And for good measure, Jatai turned to glare at 42: "Or you!"

42 gasped as she looked at him. "W-w-w-w-w-w-what d-d-did I do!?"He would've ran to hide, but he wasn't exactly the fastest fox in the bunch. What would she do to him? From the treetops, Polly was watching the entire scene. He'd crawled over to one a little closer, and now he had a rather clear view. The look upon 42's face was priceless, he had to pinch himself not to burst out laughing. But he sure looked like he could use some help. However, it'd be fun to see what he'd do.
The angry fox reminded him so of another of his assistants. Come to think of it, he'd be waiting on him once he got back. Shouting. Bah, such a killjoy... Maybe I should hurry home instead? But... What about 42 then? Will he be alright? Meh, what's the worst that could happen? Polly carefully slithered down the tree, but halfway down he stomped on a bad branch that broke off and landed in a pile of leaves below, with an awful lot of noise. Oh come on!42 heard a loud crash a couple of meters away, leaped into the air and ran back behind the tree, regardless of the scary fox. OH MY GOD THERE'S MORE OF THEM!

Needless to say, Jatai became well aware of Apolly's presence. Demanding that the other three, Tramiti, Clowrey, and 42 didn't move a single muscle, she went over to where the dragon had fallen. "Hey wuss! This your friend?" she shouted over to 42, before attempting to drag Apolly out into the open. "Right...now I want that explanation," Jatai snapped at them, "Why my daughter was with you two. Why she was even out there in the first place...and why the tiger I told to watch over her DIDN'T." At each command, she turned her gaze to each of them; APolly and 42 first, Clowrey, and lastly Tramiti. Lord she was a frightening creature...Blow CLowrey and Tramiti had flinched upon being referred to...
Desperate, Tramiti attempted to explain the situation but under her burning gaze, he couldn't bring himself to make any intelligible words...Between the stuttering between the Tiger and 42, Jatai had had enough. "You know what--I'll deal with you later! Now git!" she hissed at the biege tiger, and he quickly ran off. Jatai then looked to her daughter, "And YOU, young lady. Get your a** home. NOW."
Clowrey, still laying low to the ground, slowly rose with great hesitation. Eyes wide, the fox-bunny began to walk away but took a second to glance over at Apolly and 42...Quick as a whip, she bounded over to them and give each a friendly pinch of a bite on the cheek before rushing away. "HEY! HEY! WHAT DO YOU--?!" Jatai shouted, but her daughter was already out of sight. Huffing, the fox was left glaring at the two strangers..."Bye," she muttered darkly before heading off herself...

The two stood there in silent confusion for a while, trying to figure out what they'd just witnessed. "'W-w-what the hell w-was that!?""No idea. And I have a feeling a rather not know anyway...""Yeah, y-y-you're probably right, s-sire..."They started walking off, ready to give in for the night as the sun slowly started rising, trying to find its' way over the treetops. Apollyon was far too tired to even care to scold his assistant for running off like that, and he felt as if thou he was forgetting something... "HEY!""W-w-w-w-what did I do!?""No, it's not-" He sighed, looking back for a moment. "She ran off with my bell... AGAIN.""I-I'm sorry what?""Nevermind... Let's go home. You've got work to do.""I GOT WORK TO DO!? If you had any idea the trouble you're in you'd- What!?"Polly just laughed at him and started running. "H-hey! Wait for me, sire!"And so, they started racing back into the city. What a strange night it'd been.
