Haru sat quietly, his anger more or less quenched at that point in time. In all aspects, Haru knew that what Natsuki had said would call for a reaction from at least one of the gathered Hollow, but he was at least slightly glad that it had been the-seemingly-most logic and composed one. The show of force was unneeded; the shinigami all gathered here, even without having good reiatsu sense, could tell that if they were to even make the wrong twitch they would instantly be ripped apart without the chance to blink. Maybe that was why Haru was so calm in this situation. Those that lost the ability to keep themselves in check would end up in worse conditions than Natsume had been left in, even if Kura once again responded to their words or actions. Head still down, Haru let no emotion seep into his demeanor, nor his voice as he opened his mouth to speak.
"Without reason nor sanity we would have simply been butchered right when the one you call Satsu appeared before us, correct? We mean no threat, if there could even be a possibility from us, but I can see what the girl meant by her words." Looking up, Haru's eyes were completely void of any emotion whatsoever, as he looked over to the one called Kura as he tried to talk to her. In one aspect, he was trying to come off as reasonable and somewhat respecting, considering the gigantic power gap between any one of them and the hollow around. On the other hand, he was trying to figure out why exactly they had been brought there, just as Natsuki had before she had said the wrong thing. By all means, the things people mean from what they say are pretty straightforward. However, the way one worded something was how they concealed said meaning to try and either manipulate or level a situation. In this aspect, Haru was trying to make sure that his words carried no ill will or anger, lest he get attacked just as Natsuki had. He wanted an answer however.
"What she means to say, though worded it wrongly, was 'Could you tell us why exactly we were brought here. Lighting a fire would be much like destroying a house to get rid of a few rats. To us, it seems at least, that there is something more to our purpose here.' "

((no worries there. = u=))
Natsuki was both surprised and expecting of this sort of thing however the timing had her off guard as her arm was pinned to the ground, the weight she expected from a fully armored leg wasn't there and she was instead greeted with something akin to a husky male. This situation gave her little time to think as she was soon greeted by the cold fingers around her neck. The moment the hand reached her neck she focused her concentration entirely on sending a flood of reiatsu to the core of her neck. though she wouldn't be breathing this would certainly minimized the effects caused by this swift attack. Clearly she had misinterpreted her generalized comment but it would be foolish at this point to explain otherwise; not as though she could actually give a response in this situation. she got a clear view of this arrancar's eyes however and like many had stated they were mirror to the soul. she gained a minor understanding of this particular individual in the brief moment their gaze had connected. However Natsuki's eyes wouldn't be as telling since she had worked long at holding such a poker face in her life and throughout her time in the afterlife. Fear nor defiance would be detected in her gaze though both certainly were present. As soon as she was picked up and spoken to she was just as abruptly dropped her feet buckling from the fact she had essentially been holding her breath as her neck muscles remained tense with the reiatsu she had used as a sort of internal barrier. as soon as her butt hit the sandy ground beneath her she was tended to by both Kodate and Danny who showed up shortly after. Breathing calmly she allowed the energy she concentrated to disperse once more taking a few deep breaths to clear her throat.
"It's only surface injury... thanks for the assistance." Natsuki commented hoarsely as she was treated for the wounds she had received. "A message is a message so follow their instructions for the time being..." she commented holding a rather conceding demeanor in her tone and voice. it seamed the Senda training helped in quick reactive control of reiatsu on her part so it was certainly a valuable tool indeed. after the short healing session she positioned herself onto her knees and bowed to the ground in an apologetic manner. "Please forgive my insolence this is after all your field of favor." she commented putting her status to the people around her as a pushover as far as taking injuries and giving in goes. Neither of which was true of course this was a tactical ploy to appease their captors. She spoke generally but it was misconstrued as bravery and she needed to learn exactly what they intended to do here she was certain they'd get the answer soon even if it were hidden beneath backwards logic.

In spite of all she'd just done they'd never realise it was an attack that would ultimately provide them a small defence. They weren't predators. Simple as that. They didn't look, think or act like hollows and this dissonance between the two ways of thinking was what prevented Natsuki from realising just how terrible a situation she was slowly forcing herself into. She was trying to appear reasonable to creatures that were simply unreasonable. They didn't train Shinigami properly in talking with hollows or even in the language that hollow used to communicate. Only in killing them as quickly and effectively as possible. Right now Natsuki was trying to use the logic of a human to deal with something other and making herself vulnerable. Why would a monster in a human shell even care how sorry you were?
She looked at them. Picking and choosing. She needed someone to deliver her message who Natsuki would actually listen to or could understand. Looking among them there was the one treating the wounds. Well she might be reasonable but her job was as a medic. She would be better off left to her job. The large man with the shield. Well he was slightly angry. He had clenched his teeth trying to hold something back. He would be no good. Natsuki was out of the picture as she might not want to enter physical proximity. Kura had not used all the force she could muster and Natsuki would certainly have been able to appreciate that. This left the two other men. Both equally good candidates. However she decided to pick the one who had spoken most recently. Haru.
She motioned a finger at him. Back and forth. A clear sign for 'Come over here.' Though just recently she had held an enormously violent intent which she had made crystal clear it had dissipated completely. There was no reason to fear her except for her earlier show of violence and the potential for her to attack after perceiving a threat. Even if it was non fatal. Kura's finger only moved about twice and she completely ignored what Haru had said not bothering to answer it. At least not from this distance.

So, his wording had not been wrong. At least, that was what the surface reaction from Kura gave him. Of course, the fact that she didn't answer him and then motioned for him to come closer could mean something else entirely. Either way, he didn't really have a choice on whether or not he could choose to ignore her want of him to come closer. Pushing against the sand with his right arm, Haru slowly pushed himself up, minding the fact that his arms were still in some pain from the moves he had used earlier. They were still far from healing, but the bandages around them were helping the pain slightly. Now on his feet, Haru made sure to look over to the others, giving them a slight shake of his head from side to side, trying to tell them not to try and voice any opposition or even any words beyond what had already been said. They had already seen what would happen if they said the wrong thing. The last thing he wanted was for any of them to do anything stupid and get one of themselves hurt or even killed.
Walking over to where the larger woman-Kura-was, Haru made sure that he had the other signatures of the stronger hollow in his mind, just in case they tried to move at him while his back was turned. If he was going to get attacked, he would at least first know it was coming. Eyes focused now only on the woman who had motioned for him to come over, Haru simply stood in front of her, his arms at his sides. Even with his blades within his sleeve on his left arm, they might as well have been made of wood. They would be no use at this point if the woman decided that he was to be disposed of. He hoped, though, that there had been another reason for his need to be closer to her. While his instincts told him that she was not to be trusted, his brain told him that she might just answer his question. He would see.

"Listen to me a moment." Kura's voice was light. Just about loud enough for Haru to hear. She would have rather avoided having an extended conversation with any of the shinigami but if their safety hinged on it then something had to be done. Kura looked around Haru to see Natsuki still on the floor. "First of all tell that girl to stop saying sorry. Do I..." Kura then motioned a palm outwards towards the rest of the hollows around her so Haru would know precisely what he was to look at. "...Or any of them look like they would care. She might as well be saying 'eat me I'm vunerable'." If Haru were to look around he would probably see quite clearly masses of hollows eyeing and sizing up Natsuki. She wasn't a poor meal by any means. A good appetiser if nothing else.
"I can give you only a guess at why you were brought here. Satsu is a free agent. We were all told to bring something useful or interesting. I would suppose you are somewhat interesting and certainly useful." That probably wasn't what Haru would want to hear. That these shinigami had been swept up by a child who was simply looking for something fun to bring home with him to show his 'friends'. The reason would more likely prove to be even more annoying or terrifying. It guaranteed them no safety and no return. Which is why Kura repeated her offer. "I'm sure you can weigh this up. If you sit close to me and keep quiet then I'll ensure your passage out of Hueco Mundo soon. Not now. I'm not going to put you in harm's way."
Kura weighed up her own offer. It could turn against her but it could play into her hands quite well too. If Satsu got angry about this it would mean she would have to fight him off or hold against him for a time. He was, as his appearance suggested, like a child. He might kick up a fuss if he thought the things which belonged to him rightly were being taken away. On the other hand if the other Arrancar King came along he might pick either side of the battle. If all went well they may dispatch of Satsu before he became a threat. Kura was not adverse to this as he showed little care for order, peace of justice. Only his own feelings mattered. In addition to this if Satsu did not kick up a fuss she might have her way with the shinigami. As she could not open garganta herself she could lead them back into her kingdom. The potential for a positive outcome far outweighed that of a negative.
"Do you understand why I attacked the girl? I was marking her as my prey. They might be hungry but I doubt they're willing to lose their lives." Kura followed up. Deciding it needed an explanation if nothing else. She had failed to mention that she was trying also to instil fear in Natsuki but it was rather unimportant. It hadn't worked properly and there was nothing more to it. Natsuki had still not worked out that she was in no position to be giving orders even to her fellows.

Sighing, Haru noded, only once, at Kura's words. While they annoyed him slightly-especially the part about them being brought here simply because Satsu thought they were interesting or useful-he showed no sign of it other than the sigh. Quickly looking to Natsuki, Haru gave her a piercing glance as he quickly said what Kura had told him. "Natsuki, get the hell up. You look like you're offering yourself to be the first course of their meal." It was said quickly, and lowly, more like a hiss than anything. It was true that Haru as well was angered at Natsuki's blatant ignorance to the situation, even if he didn't like Kura's way of showing it to her. She was, however, right about one thing. Showing interest-even if it was anger or even hunger-towards them would make any of the lesser hollow not move a inch toward them. Even in nature, the strongest got to pick their prey, and if any of the lower tier were to even make a move in their direction they would be quickly torn to pieces. Reason was given only to the hollow such as Kura, who had evolved to that point. For the rest of the hollow, it was pure instinct.
Turning back now to Kura, Haru gave her a slightly wary glance as he sat down in front of her. True to what she had been saying, none of the Hollow below her power would move towards her for fear of being eaten. Their safest, and also deadliest place, was with this woman who seemed to have motives other than what she was telling them. That much was obvious, at least to Haru. But for the moment, he would oblige her fancy, to simply stay alive for as long as possible. His own goals were far more important to him than trying to blindly get himself killed by opposing ones who were far beyond his capability. Things were going to play out, and Haru only hoped that they did within his own scenarios. He rather liked living.
"Yes, I understand"

۞Angel Kotoshi۞ When the world is yours.... ╔══════════════╗
Angel looked at Kura as she picked up Natsuki and "talked" with her. When Natsuki was released he did not move from his spot seeing as Kodate and another shinigami came to her aid. He took a deep breath as his eyes continued to look at the Arrancars around them. It was true. As long as they listened to Kura and did as they were told they would live. His job now was to make sure the rest of the group got that in their thick skulls so they could live. He watched as Haru was called over by Kura and sat next to her. What exactly did she need? This was question was killing him.╚══════════════╝ .....what is left for you to take?

Natsuki got to her feet and dusted off her garment that was upon the ground. showing minor signs of irritation at the situation. favorites were being played here, making an example of one and counseling another was beyond her comprehension. She was one to follow the rules placed if they were clarified however none were given and they floundered about wondering what was right and what was wrong protocol in a foreign land surrounded by numbers they could not possibly hope to manage alone. With little or no information to go on she began focusing her reiatsu carefully the sheer volume of energy around her would make her otherwise miniscule power manipulation go unnoticed. If there was no reasoning there was no reasoning behind the methods of beasts she would observe from a hidden perspective and if worst came to worst she would survive to give out information needed should she escape this place. "I'll take my leave then since I'm clearly a detriment to this group... Lead the way Haru..." she stated sharply. " Bakudo: 26 Kyokko" she muttered under her breath as the energies within her muted and then deleted her presence from the hollow and shinigami that stood about. It was an effective technique that disguised visuals, energy, and even scent from those around her and had she been better trained it was normally used silently. To those who had never witnessed the technique it would appear as though she had vanished from existence. She assumed most of the hollow here had never seen the obscurely used technique since it was a favorite of the second squad and hollows facing them were usually destroyed without gaining any insight of the technique. Taking the opportunity she gently moved behind those who had aided her, she carefully ghosted danny's prior steps in order to mask her own. Coupled with the flickering light of the fire it would be hard pressed to identify the subtle changes that were made being it was the primary light source in the area and cast shadows often played tricks on even trained eyes. Danny had done a superb job at healing and was certainly a value to whichever squad she would reside in there was minimal pain in her arm and neck.

A slight grin cracked under the black scarf. Watching the female arrancar show the mouthy shinigami who was boss was the most entertainment he had gotten all week.
Situation seemingly handled- Torrik remained on his toes. The passive shinigami were finally beginning to show their fangs- like small yappy dogs backed into the corner. It was only a matter of time before they began frothing at the mouth and snapping at the hand that fed them. Although this didn’t involve Torrik in the least he was actually beginning to enjoy the show. The the situation had become a train-wreck and he was unable to look away.
Curiosity had a firm hold on his ankles; like a pair of strong hands protruding from the white sand. His eyes narrowed as the passing of more angry words were exchanged. He wished he could hear them better and was almost enticed to get closer just to find out what they were up to. Though the number of shinigami outnumbered his kind, he didn't see them as much of a threat- yet. The female arrancar seemed to have the group under her control while the young blabby-mouthed kid wasn't of much use. Torrik resigned himself to continue observing until one of the female shinigami vanished into thin air like a desert mirage.
Not much crossed his mind other than the safety of Accapello and how it was now compromised. Torrik figured if one of the shinigami went out of bounds, the others would most likely follow. He wasn’t even sure if the disappearing act was something all of them could do but it was a risk he was not willing to take if the girl were in fact still within the area. With his heightened awareness and adrenaline now pumping, his willpower was stomped into he sand by his instincts that he had suppressed for so long. He felt like a taunted cat watching a laser pointer dancing on a wall. It wasn't for food or for the desire to kill- he was feeling playful. Though he was fixated on just a miniscule thing, its movement stood out amongst the rest. His eyes could pick out a zit on the shinigami's nose from a mile away. Random footprints in the sand weren't much of a challenge for him to see.
Upon scooping his hand across the desert floor, Torrik vanished from Accapello's side. Seemingly out of nowhere, the arrancar appeared directly in front of Natsuki, unleashing a fist full of sand over her head like magical pixy-dust. Only… not so magical. The option to pounce had been there but he kept himself in check enough to know that the female arrancar had wanted them alive. He still owed her a favor.

”What do I want? Hmm…. I dunno, I’ve never had a Shinigami before. Do you guys do tricks or anything?” While it definitely appeared condescending and belittling, the little Arrancar meant every word of what he said without any underhanded meaning. He stood up atop his kosode and drew his zanpakuto, a wakizashi blade attached to a katana’s hilt, and raised it up in the air. ”I mean like… Bankai! Bankai!” He shouted loudly before giggling to himself. He didn’t know what a Bankai was, but according to the little he had skim-read in the library, it was something Shinigami had that was apparently cool and desirable to see. The mood in the area seemed to completely go over Satsu’s head. He hadn’t met a Shinigami before, maybe they were all grouches at first? Yes, that was definitely it! With his careful guidance though, these Shinigamis would turn into the very model of a fun lover.
A little later, one of his Shinigamis, Hairband-chan, started ranting. At first, Satsu thought perhaps she was telling some Shinigami style joke that their custom had or something, but it was neither very good nor very funny. In fact, Satsu felt oddly irritated by it. Before he could reprimand her for her poor taste in ribaldry, Kura-chan-senpai-kun-tan had already beaten him to the punch. By kicking the girl and choking her. Now that was just cruel, Satsu didn’t think he would even do that to a dog. Unless it was being really annoying. Maybe Hairband-chan really annoyed Kura-chan-senpai-kun-tan then? Still, that was rather rude of her! Fortunately, it looked like Eshpadsa-san and Herr Doktor-chan were taking care of the other Shinigami. Rather fortunate as Satsu didn’t know anything medical but wasn’t afraid to try.
Now Kura-chan-senpai-kun-tan was talking to Silver-san. Satsu was debating about reprimanding Kura-senpai-kun-tan, note the dropping of an honorary, for her rudeness yet didn’t want to be rude himself. Listening in to their conversation with his ears though, a slightly unsettled feeling came upon his reiatsu as he felt a wave of minor irritating pinpricks ride throughout his body. It seemed as though Kura-senpai-kun-tan was talking about Satsu’s Shinigamis as if they were her own. The young boy didn’t understand much complicated things, but he was wise enough in the basic universal laws to understand that one was obligated to ask nicely with the word “Please” before taking something that did not belong to them. He had found the stray Shinigamis at that pond place fair and square! They belonged to him now! Even though he liked Kura-senpai-kun-tan, Satsu wasn’t going to let anyone else take his belongings from right in front of him without asking.
”Kura-senpai-kun-tan.” Satsu said in his best impression of a school teacher or a headmaster. ”You can’t go around taking and breaking things that don’t belong to you without asking for permission first! Apologize! “ Now that she was reprimanded and made aware of the laws that governed the universe, she needed to be punished too to drive the lesson home, that’s how it always was. An antumbra of teal energy crackled around his fist. ”Bala! With a punching motion, Satsu fired off what was, for him, a playful Bala that would still leave a sting on Kura-senpai-kun-tan. Of course, leaving a sting through hierro and heavy armor would probably translate into something much more fatal on one of the Shinigami. ”That’s for breaking the rules!” Satsu finished off with his meting and doling of justice by sticking his tongue out at Kura-senpai-kun-tan.
Turning around in satisfaction, Satsu managed to just catch a glimpse of that other Arrancar from far away, with the little girl around Satsu’s age, dump a handful of dust on apparently thin air, except there was something there! It was like some sort of magic trick! Maybe those two would join in the escapades? His other potential playmate still looked far off, Satsu wondered if she would come over to play too. Maybe there would be a magic show, like if the Arrancar with the sand would magically summon someone out of thin air or something. Even having just launched a bala in an unmistakable attack on a King – or was she a Queen? – Satsu still did not feel any sort of pressure or tension as he watched the new Arrancar with rapt attention.

۞Angel Kotoshi۞ When the world is yours.... ╔══════════════╗
Angel was dumb struck at what he just witnessed. Natsuki not only said she would leave, but she used a bakudo to hide her presence. This made him wonder if she even valued her own life. When the Arrancar he observed a bit ago not only stood in front of Natsuki, but sprayed sand on to he to make her presence known to the others. He facepalmed himself as he muttered to himself, "Stupid stupid stupid stupid." He sighed as he bowed to Kura to show he meant as an apology. He got up walked over to the Arrancar and Natsuki, and turned to her. He grabbed her shoulder and pulled her close to him so he could whisper to her, "If you dont want to die I suggest you stay, sit down, and shut up. Right now we are in a delicate situation and I will be damned to die because of your stupidity. So just sit down, relax, and everything will be fine." He let her go and smiled to the Arrancar that had covered her with sand. ╚══════════════╝ .....what is left for you to take?

((I made that point a while ago... the whole shinigami/arrancar thing/no end thing. No rescue. Just death.))
Accapello had felt pretty confidant in just watching from afar; as it looked like chaos to her. She didn't like all these shinigami. They were stupid things. She especially hated so many being here. She liked the fact that some of them seemed scared; and that was pretty okay. She stepped on tiptoe to see everything a bit better. She pushed hair out of her face so her blue eyes could see a bit better; only to suddenly feel as though she was alone. She sat down in the sand, as Torrik appeared father away.
She looked down at her feet and brought her left foot closer, observing the sole of it in a rather bored like fashion. If her big brother needed her, she'd call her; so she simply stretched her leg out and wiggled her toes around. Over the observation of her feet, she could see all the strange arrancar.. specifically the one that looked like her.
She narrowed her eyes in distrust. She had a thing about other arrancar; especially those she didn't know, was that they tended to dislike her. Or like her too much; for some reason. She reached back to where her hair was covering her hole; her eyes looking at the strange Satsu. She turned her attention to Torrik, she felt funny staring at Satsu. She stood up, not being able to see what her beloved Tor was doing.
